Woodware/Dreamweaver Blog Hop

Welcome to Woodware's first Blog hop! and we have a give away too! We are really happy to be joining with the Dream it up team to bring you innovative ways to use our wonderful Dreamweaver stencils and supplies all week long! By the end of the week, you'll have seen stencils used in inspirational ways you just couldn't have imagined, and you'll see that, although our stencils are wonderful for paper crafting, they have SO MANY other uses too! We'll have several posts a day for you, from Monday August 29th to Saturday September 3rd. At the end of our celebration, each designer will randomly select a winner from all blog comments to receive a free Dreamweaver stencil. We look forward to you partying along with us!

Eeekkk!! the hop starts with me along with 3 other ladies today and continues all week

Here's my entry for today:

As a stamper and dabbling in punches and die cut stencil embossing is an unknown territory.  Having had a little "go" many (like 18) years ago when I first started crafting it has come a long way with the introduction to beautiful designs, stencil paste and in my eyes the best thing, being able to do a beautiful embossed picture like this with a turn of a handle.  Using a die cutting machine and the mats required its literally that easy!

I fell in love with this beautiful butterfly stencil Dreamweaver Three Butterflies LL591.  I chose to decorate a book and this hard backed book was just £1 for 2 in Poundland :)  I ran the stencil through the Big Shot machine and kept the stencil in place, using various colours in inkpads and some stencil brushes I added the colour.  And lastly I dabbed glitter glue onto it too.

You can find all the supplies you need right here  and right here

Your next stop along the hop is to Lee at Lee Kellogg blog.

I hope you have enjoyed my post and enjoy the week!  I know I cant wait to see what has been done by all the others :)
