More challenge cards

This challenge was to use punches.  I made a picket fence with the new Jewellery tag punch and word window.  Once again I must stress they were all made under time stress!! LOL  this was the challenge I struggled with most... my last creation for this will give you a laugh, but I will show you all, good and bad!

very very simple large heart punch and also 5 petal flower punch to make this flower.

Frog on acid!  LOL  looks more like robo frog or something.  I told you I
was challenged by this one :)

Terrible cards really!  LOL  but its really fun to do these challenges.  I will give you all warning for the next one and you should play along.

Whilst here I will share the last challenge cards which where based on a picture which was
very bright colours... hang on let me see if I can find it.... back in a mo.

there you go, an explosion of colour, now you can look at this how you want.  Literally and do
a cake card or something, take the flowers as inspiration, the stripes, the colours ect  when I looked
I took the colours to inspire and here are my cards for that.

BRIGHT paper from the paper stack AND a BRIGHT mane for this lion

again so simple card my 3 year old could have made it!! (BLUSH)
used the bright colours to make this underwater scene.  Look I made a jellyfish out
of the turtle stamp!!  see even on this infantile card there is something to inspire (I hope)

Stripes created with the SU markers and the striped stamp..  could be a belated birthday card
with a slow tortoise?

Thats all folks... off to work again today.

Thursday arleady?

Weeks are flying by... looking forward to Friday as NEW Eclipse trailer is out  TEAM EDWARD!!! I am reading Twilight again and falling in love all over, the depth of the emotions in the books really cant be transposed onto the screen, I feel reading the book really helps with the film.

Here are a fwe funny pics... One of Harvey in his shorts, how he stands up on those legs amazes me!! LOL  and this is Caiden in the corner.  I took the picture of Harvey as I wanted one of him on his own, you can just see Caiden stropping off in the photo, then he stood in the corner as he wouldnt let me take one of him and his legs!! LOL  which as you can see are totally different from Harveys :)  It amazes me that their body sizes are so different.

Now I didnt have chance to make a card last night.  I get home from work 6pm, eat my tea and take mum home and I dont get back til 7;30pm and then sort kids out to bed ect.  I went to bed before 10pm last night as I was too tired!  I thought I would share a few things waiting in the wings to be made into a card.  I have a watercolour pad and I quiet often just feel like colouring, so thats what I do!!

So one day these might make it as a card... maybe, maybe not!!

Off to doctors this morning for something we all hate but must get done. Boo

Another card

Must be getting back into the swing of it.  I thought maybe a way of getting back to it would be to enter a few challenges and here is my entry to the Penny Black Saturday blog.

Penny Black main image, martha butterfly punch, Stampin up! Satin ribbon, Stampin Up! paper pad.
Coloured with Distress inks.  Simples :)

Another part of the challenge evening

Here is another set of cards for another challenge from the other post.  This challenge was to include "doodling" on your card.

This one I have doodled the stem.

This one has doodled dots around it

 Again more doodled dots

this one is doodled vine and leaves

Lastly this is the doodled dash like the butterflies flight dots.

Once again I have to say these were done at speed and all within the hour! (in my defence)

Hope you like something there

All Supplies are Stampin' Up!

Just Testing

Peejay took the time to tell me to update my editor so it was easier to add photos and I am just testing it...

and now I am going to type a bit more and see if I can add another and WOW it seems like it works and I LOVE IT.  Thank you Peejay!!

In Peejays words
"Re uploading photos to Blogger. I actually find it easier now than it used to be and I've been uploading loads of photos recently especially on my Ramblings blog. I have, however, changed to 'Updated Editor' Go to Settings, Basic and scroll down to the bottom to Global Settings. Where it says Select post editor check Updated Editor. Once you've done that you can post as normal but when you upload photos just put your cursor where you want the photo to be and that's where it will upload to. "

I hope this helps you like it helped me.  No long will blogger be the huge pain in the butt to add photos!

Changito Time

I love this little Monkey, he is a Changito from Stampendous. Just reminds me of my boys!

Here is a card I made over the weekend. I coloured with distress inks, stamped the background with SU inks and Circle Circus and I used my Home Made Glimmer Mist on the monkey panel.
Talking little Monkeys they are back to school today!! Yippee! We have had a nice quiet holiday, but even not going anywhere much means more money is spent than normal, so I need them to go back!

Challenge Night - Challenge 1

On In Love with Stamping a few weeks ago we had a fun challenge night. 7pm - 11pm we had a challenge each hour. The object of the challenge was in assigned teams we had to make cards to meet the challenge BUT also be the team to make the most items and that team would be the
winner. I was in Lions team, we came a very close second.

here are the cards I made :) unfortunately Caiden who never wakes in the evening woke at 11;45 just when I was finishing off the last challenge so that cost me probably 2 cards.

Remember these were timed, fast and furious with all cards having to be uploaded by midnight cut off. Also with it being night time it was hard to photograph the pictures too!

These first cards were made for the "baby Wipe" technique challenge. using a baby wipe we made an inkpad with re-inkers (hard to see the colour difference but I used red and orange re inkers) This is a hostess level 3 set and I thought the bold flower perfect for this technique.

I will post later/another day about the other challenges. Blogger is a TOTAL nightmare to add lots o photos with the newer ones going right to the top, then you have to slowly drag down and then all the writing goes weird.
Have a lovely Sunday. Looks like its going to be a lovely day.

2 cards today

I made two cards just for fun and thouroughly enjoyed it :)
Both cards have been adorned with the lovely Martha Punches. The cute little frog was from Ikea, I just saw her and could not resist. The boys looked like they were expecting it to come their way but nope, it was just for me and is sitting with my craft stuff in the front room. The Flower Tot on that card is a fabby design by Francoise Read. I punched the surround of the card using the corner and edger punch and hand coloured the flowers, yep it took a little while but I think it was worth it!
The top card was made using a mix of a Digital stamp from Meljen Designs and one from Pixie Dust Studio, Meljens has been in my bookmarks for some time, but I only found the Pixie Dust Studio today. Adorlable designs and a lovely owner who I have been chatting to online off and on in the day, chatting about her lovely drawings and also TWILIGHT and our love of Edward!! LOL
