CARD MAKING - Karen Burniston - Tag Card - Birthday Bears

Hello Friends
I am here today with a card I made for my Sister in Law Sue, who's birthday is tomorrow, I know she has opened the card so I thought I would share right away before I forget.

One of my favourite dies at the moment is the Karen Burniston Tag Book Pop Up die set. And you can purchase it at Crafts U Love as it is back in stock but selling like a hot donut! :)  I prefer donuts to pies :)

Here below is the card I made using the MFT Bitty Bears to decorate the pages. I really wanted to add more but time got the better of me.  This was my first card since before Christmas.  But I am still pleased how it turned out.  But if I did it again I might add a few more touches.  Maybe some stamped stitching on the front.  And a bear on the left hand panel inside.

Sorry the photos aren't great, its so dull in the mornings here at the moment and it doesn't make for good pictures.

Here is where the party is going on... inside with a pop of red, kraft and a smattering of green.  My bunting stamp from Skull & Crossbuns is always a welcome addition to add fun to any spaces.

I have a very fun, sunny, bright Tag Card for my first class at Crafts U Love

on 17th February.  I am thrilled this class sold out in 3 days!  And we've decided to run another date for this class which is Saturday 3rd March

The design of the card will be spring flowers and colourful.

I have a class coming up at Crafts U Love using the new Karen Burniston Twist Circle Pop it Ups die set. Come and make a spinning snowman card,  colours are traditional Red and Green with a hint of icy blue and glimmering gold.

Saturdays offferings

We made these cards yesterday in my Summer and Sea class, I cant remember what they are called, but they are actually very simple to make and I got the video tutorial link from Francis aka stamp owl in oz (sorry I am being lazy in not linking here) but check of Francis's amazing cards whilst there! so its a two in one blog hop! - Francis' link is on the right in American and Australian links, quiet near the bottom.

THe mermaid isnt the Summer and Sea collection but went quiet well. All stamps are from The Glitter Pot. I used Doodlebug glitter card.

We also made some mini cards and a little wallet decorated with the Penny Black 12 days of Christmas but I forgot to take a photo of it.

Heaven.... I'm in heaven

I went to my favourite store today and picked up my favourite stamps from my favourite stamp company. Of course I am talking about The Glitter Pot and the beautiful Penny Black rubber stamps...

I LOVE Magnolias, Bellas, Hannas, Sugar Nellies, Stampendous, Whippersnapper, Inky Antics, ect ect ect but my heart belongs to Penny Black and I owe this whole crazy stamp addiction to them! And probably Penny Black make up most of my collection too. (hugs to Shaida and her team that keep on making these amazing stamps)

So I was chatting to Bryan and he tells me that I need to fill up my class, that is in two weeks time. So if you likey the lookey of these stamps and papers you had better come and have a play with me! Coz I can see a whole lotta fun being russled up with these critters. Maybe with some cuttlebugged backgrounds, or maybe with something cut with the nestabilities>?? its going to be fun so dont make me play on me tod!

So now you know why I am in heaven..... I am sure you will agree its fun here!

Cute and Cuddly

I had my cute and cuddly classes at Eternal Maker in Chichester yesterday. I was a little worried about the drive there a I havent driven that far before but I did really well, getting there in 1 1/2 and not the antisipated 2 hours. The journey back wasnt as good, well not bad, but it was dark, I was tired, I went a different way home and kept thinking I was lost and the catseyes in the roads were dazzling me and flashing all over really doing me head in!

The classes went well, 6 in the morning, 5 in the afternoon. Everyone did really well and made some lovely cards. I decided on 1 simple stamped card and one with a bit more involved, so we did a basic card, a joy fold and a criss cross. You can see the cards above.

I made them all using the adorable stamps from Stampendous, papers were from Blonde Moments and Basic Grey, ribbon from woodware and lots of glitter glue.
