Tag Book Pop Up Card

Hi Friends
I am here with a birthday card that I needed to make and I could not wait to play with the Karen Burniston Tag Book Pop up die set and the Cat & Dog set (although I only made the cat in this instance).  Seems to be too long between cardmaking sessions and the dark and cold sometimes keep me out of the shed, but once I am in there I can hope to get the creative juices going.

I do have to mention the Tag Book is currently out of stock at Crafts U Love but it will be back, so sign up for product notifications on this item so you don't miss out on this item again as it flew out the first time.

Here is the outside the tag book and I kept it simple with a hand coloured calico type cat and a very old Penny Black wording stamp.

I used Distress Ink Pads and pencils to colour, adding highlights with my Uniball white pen

Closer on the cat and I must say I did enjoy making up the cats.  Super simple assembly with just 2 pieces, one being the main cat and then the tummy piece that gets woven between the legs.  The die also includes the stencil feature to be able to create the really cute face.

Here is the inside when it is opened out and you can see the
card in all its glory spread out and dimensional, such fun!

Another close up shows the cat again (swoon), the fish bones,  paper clip and heart and the frame are all from the same set.  The cupcake and wrapper is from the cupcake set.

A beautiful ginger tabby, again the fun paperclip and heart add
a little "something" to the card.

All in all I am really pleased how this card came out.  Its a dream to assemble, really very simple, the accessory dies are just the perfect little touches that work well on this card but can also of course be used on an other cards and die sets.  You can watch Karen's Assembly video HERE

Karen Burniston and her Design Team have their monthly challenges
today so do check out her blog HERE.

I will be back next week with another card for the Monthly Paper Pros challenge so I do hope that come back to see that.
