Jingle Jangle

I am not sure what the "jingle Jangle" collection means... I suppose these little pixies have bells on their hats so that could be it... anyway today I made a card (coloured last night) assembled today. I really love this image, well I love both, the pixie and the flower. I got these from CraftsUlove and coloured with my Promarkers.

To embellish I used Craftwork Cards Chocolate and Marshmellow candy dots in a creamy mix of pink and light brown (both in CWC lovely pearly card) and then I used on of the new HOT PINK Happy Birthday word circles... WOWZERS I love these even more in the flesh and I was lucky enough to get these little beauties and the candy dots in the post yesterday from one of my bestest buds Julie. I also used some of the Diamond Dust which is crushed glass which I got from Crafts U Love. The scalloped circle is punch from Chocolate Chip cardstock is Stampin' Up! and the paper is an old one I got from my stash. Mounted this onto close to cocoa cardstock.

I am deciding wether to brave Sainsburys today... Darren is still in bed, he got in at 1am rather worse for wear and I left him in the chair downstairs with the dog and a quilt! He had is christmas do yesterday. I think I will wake him at lunch time and I'll will leave him with hangover and boys so I can brave the shops, I really just want to get it all done with now and then I can say its all done. Got the meat ect its just the veg and I am going for frozen, the question is do I have room in the freezer!?! I even started wrapping pressies last night... and I have all pressies apart from a little something I need for my nephew.

Spiral Whisper - Challenge - Sketch

Spiral Whisper had another sketch for their challenge and I got this stamp yesterday and just had to ink it up. I saw this image and thought of my boys, apart from their longer hair this is my boys to the T. Caiden being the younger chubbier one and Harvey the bigger and skinny one.. Too cute!

Caiden had his MMR last week. last night he was burning up big time... managed to strip him off, dose him up before we had another febrile convulsion on ours hands. Today we have a quiet day inside.

I used the Sprial Whisper stamp, Stampin' Up! Rowing Edwin

Edwin has his oar ready and was about to go done to the jetty when he noticed the village fete was on so he stayed there oar in hand to pose for some photos, after all he is the rowing champion of Magnolia village.

I have my lovely prismacolor pencils but I still grab my watercolours all the time, guess some habits are easy to stick with.

This is too cute. I love this design. They stamp beautifully. Simple card.

Ohh and I used one of my new buttons. I was speaking to Eternal Maker about the buttons and said "Oh you need orange" So they told me they dyed them and if I wanted orange I could have. So I got orange and red dyed up for me ;0) I am goin to chuck some buttons in these candy packages as well.

Prismacolor Pencils

As you know I finally sharpened mine and here are my first two cards. Think I did OK? Any eperts want to cast a critical eye over them will be welcome.

Cute Tilda, HUGE flower, Doodlebug Paper and Jewels, scalloped card and a Craftwork Cards word thingie.

I Loved colouring this in. Wall, Tree and Tilda are Magnolia, Flowers, Zoomz and another Craftwork Cards word thing. Little bit of ribbon and we're done!

I wanted to ask, What Ink is best for working with these pencils? I have used Staz on but it seems some of the outline has moved too ;0(

Hmm, photos that dont do the cards the justice they require bug me. take this cute little bug card.. it looks really pritty in real life. The photo doesnt look anything special. Its simple and pritty and I couldnt wait to share with you, but this photo is just boring!

The stamp is an adorable one from Penny Black via the Glitter Pot, I cant remember what it is called but its a cutie isnt it? The embossed frame is a Craftwork Cards frame, designed by the very talented Julie Hickey. I got this from The Glitter Pot too. The flowers are from my stash, the Zoomz are from Kym at Stamp Galaxy.co.uk I LOVE adding these to my cards.

I carefully chalked very lightly some of the embossed flowers with my Stampin Pastels and I coloured the image with my Stampin Up! ink pads... The little face on this bug is sooooooo cute, I mean look at those eyes and little furry eyelashes? or hair?! Whatever it is I coloured it with my Old Olive pad and I love it.

I wish you could see it in real life. Its not "knock your socks off special" but it does look nicer.

I made three cards, yesterday, one was this one, the other two are for my class on Saturday. I needed it. I think the men in white coats are coming! Last night when locking my Palace up I said "I love you shed".... I meant I love the break it gives me, the sanity check and I came out all refreshed. If you hadnt have guessed its school holidays here and so far we have had nits, fits, rash, tempretures, coughs, snot and then yesteday rounded off nicely with Caiden throwing up! Today we are going to the park, this is more or less the first time out, well I tell a lie, we did go a few little places last week. Nothing much to shout about though. Catch you later if the men in coats dont get me first.
