Putting a few of you out of suspense

OK a few of you tried to guess and a couple of you were right. I got a lovely package of Bella stamps... well they were actually Ketto stamps... there are so many lovely Ketto's to choose from, I really didnt know what to get. So I got 4 Kettos, 2 animals, 2 patterns and 1 Huggabug.





In the words of Bella, "I lovey them all"... here is a picture to drool over! and a little one that I started today.

Had a great party last night. Lots of laughing and not too much heckling! OK maybe from Zoe (LOL) but then she did promise to help me with a rendition of "Roll out the barrell" on the old Joanna! LOL if I got stuck... yes it was one of THOSE get togethers. 99% of the people last night are considered friends and people I have meet through stamping so it was fairly relaxed and fun.

Mixed emotions yesterday

I was lucky enough to get a preview to the sale which starts today at Creative Pastimes/Living. They had invited some special customers and past tutors to come along and take advantage of the sale. Everything in store was 50% off, everything was being sold (more or less). Theresa kept getting upset as some of their lovely customers brought in flowers and told them how sad they were so you couldnt help but feel sad too. I wish Faye and Theresa every luck in the future. I managed to get myself some great bargains including stamps, papers, punches and I was one very very lucky lady in that Faye gave me the beautiful giant bella that was on display, she now has pride of place in my Palace, looking down on my desk as I work. Oh and I also got a fab paper stand, I am yet to pick that up, I dont know where I can put it in my Palace, but I will find a space.

The sale is open today to everyone, go and grab yourself a bargain!!

Yesterday was also a day of fun with the family. Darren had the day off work and we went to the local Wacky Warehouse for a meal and then for the boys to have an hour in the soft play and ball pit. They LOVED it!

This was HALF the pudding it was a pudding to share and they didnt have a bowl big enough so brought out TWO of these. Darren ate one to himself, they boys did their best with this and I had a scummy piece of chocolate fudge cake!.

Right I had better get ready, I have two classes at the Glitter Pot today, beautiful new Penny Black stamps and Magnolia stamps too... Bliss!

I got some lovely post today

Riley is cute... I know we dont get meeces over here but he was too cute to resist. I loved the tea time one in the chair, the plane one is great for messages and names and the gardening one is too cute. Also with these I got 3 Hanna sets.

Glitter Pot class

Had a fun time at the Glitter Pot today, who couldnt when we were colouring, making boxes, stamping Penny Black, decorating candles and chatting!

So here is what we made :)

We have used Penny Black stamps, I didnt limit people to using just one or two and we had a selection of hedgehogs, bears and a few Stampendous too for good measure. I have coloured these in using the Distress ink pads and waterbrush. Love the effect it gives.

Here is the card we made.

I used the adorable mini primas, these come in small glass jars, choose your fav colour and you are set. These are new to the Glitter pot... and as well as me completing my collection of Distress inks I also brought these.....

The photo is really bad, but look at those flowers! Talk about lush! and the monkey is too cute dont ya think? Talking Monkeys, I have seen the new Stampendous stamps, including more Changitos and WOWIE we are in for a treat; Love them. As soon as I get some I will show you.

Mail Yummies

I dont mean Male Yummies although there were some on this morning TV! LOL Did you see? I got a few things in the post today. Firstly 6 of the new Cuttlebug folders from my SS from the cricut forum, I pre ordered these in November or sometime like that when my SS sent me $$ to spend and they came today. Also got some SU USA goodies from a friend. Cant wait to play!

Stamps, ink, wheel, paper, card, watercolour crayons... yumm yumm yumm. Of course this is all in the name of research and prepairing for SU coming over here :)

A pritty bad morning has turned into a GREAT one!

I am not feeling 100% and just feeling yuck, then Caiden hasnt napped and I really have so much stuff I could have done with him asleep (stamp colour and craft) so I was feeling a bit sorry for myself, now I am very happy :))) The power of rubber!






Three photos here are a prime example of me coming home from demos with more stuff than I took! The first is of 5 HUGE tubes of Uhu glue that my friend Kim picked up from poundland for me... enough to last me some little while thats for sure :) The second are some stamps that Kitty from First Class Crafts brought along to me on my demo Saturday. I had ordered them Friday and suddenly thought I could ask Kitty to bring them along with her, arent they adorable, they are from High Hopes and you can see those and more on her website.
Lastly there are 5 coffee tins from Paula (see my fav UK bloggers list) she is giving away these tins, but also raising money for a worthy cause and is asking for a donation for charity. What a fab idea. I will eventually alter these to make nice pots for pens and embellishments of some sort. What a great idea Paula. Stop by her blog, email her and see if you can help out too

Is it not typical that I am surrounded by all this amazing stuff but I feel no energy to do anything! I am just sooooo tired I feel a little sick and I cant do anything today other that sit down think about what I could be doing! Harvey is watching cbeebies and Caiden thankfully is taking a nap. Harvey has a hacking cough and has woke me the last three mornings at about 4am. I have given him medicine and he has gone back to sleep but I take a while to drop back off and Caiden generally has been disturbed also so he isnt properly asleep and rolls around for the next two and a half hours. So after that, 2 days working I am trashed. I apologise for teasing you will the goodies and not doing anything other than talking about it. I think I need a day off from it all. I might manage to get my scissors out and cut my SU stamps down.

Could also be a case of "where's the card" but I am sorry ladies, I haven't managed one today. My next door neighbour but one asked me to look after her 4 year old daughter from 8:30 to 4:30 so I had 3 of them to deal with.

I am hoping to make a few tomorrow and I will be back with some photos. I am stamping and cuttlebugging in Chichester at Eternal Maker.

Here is a fab RAK that I received today from a kind lady called Sarah from the Cricut forum. These stamp arent currently available in the UK, they are a stampendous release but not coming for a few more weeks. I cant wait to use them and no guessing who I will be making a "thank you" card with these for. Thanks Sarah, you are a star. I love them! especially the hanging one and the vines and so pleased to have a little banana too for backgrounds.

OK its not my birthday but it ought to be as I have had three wonderful packets today! Firstly and not photographed is the Stampin up! catalogue. Taken me ages to finally sort out ordering these but they came today. Still have a little SU order coming but its not here yet. In eagerness for SU coming to Europe and England I am ordering a few essential tools that I will need so it wont be as expensive to start off. I dont know if you realise (This is for the UK readers) that you are under SU rules not allowed to demo another persons product IF SU sells it in their catalogue, for instance, the Stampin UP! watercolour pencils, you all know I love to colour, but I would not be allowed (officially) to demo my regular pencils as SU have their own pencils. So even though I do have a zillion other pencils I did need to get the SU ones. You all know how I love to colour so I needed to get these, also one set of the watercolour crayons, which are beautiful and come in the same coloured SU families that we have become to love. I am going to go to bed with this catalogue and make lists of stuff I want, I need ect :) and also the sets that I have already got that are still current. I have a feel I have a LOT more discontinued than current.

OK the next was a fantastic and very generous NEVERENDING RAK from Kimabella :) LOL shes been calling me cazzabella so I thought I would return the compliment.

She sent me a beautiful Bella card, I LOVE it! A fantastic Magnolia stamp, WOW I now have two, one from Samm and one from Kimabella and loads of scrummy Magnolia images :)

Next and lastly I got a small order from www.stampingbella.com Pompomabella, the cute one with a new mummy and daddy and a funny phrase to go with my Knitabella stamp (which a friend has brought for me) AND the reason I ordered, Em was raving about these scrummy, beautimous thingies she got, so I had to see them myself. I ordered 4 colours and YES I can confirm these are great.

A good price and you get quiet a few, not like buying something where you get may 12 or 20 things and you dont want to use them! There and plenty here to use and the rest you can stroke :) What fabo colours and I must find something to put them in so I can see them still :)

Just had to show off! new stash alert.

My new stash from last week. The Bind - it - all you all know the story about that. The cropadile, well I got underpaid the other week at a demo so I asked them to pop a cropadile by for me. The ribbon, Hmm well, that was just a collapse of willpower and the cuttlebug dies, hmmm they jumped on me and begged me to take them home, afterall they are David Walker designs and you know I am a fan of his (or as hubby calls me a walker stalker) LOL I cant call myself a fan if I dont own all his dies can I?

The demo was good, it was very quiet in the store, something to do with the fact the weekend was beautiful and we have had so much lousy weather lately. I am hoping the samples I made and the sample board will continue to sell for them. Talking of samples, here are a few...

All were David Walker designs. I love these little critters!

I love the fact that you can cut in white and add detailing or you can cut in a coloured card and the cuttlebug adds the face detail and you really dont need to do anything with them. I do love to add the detail so thats what I did.

The cuttlebug embossed the purple velvet paper (right) beautifully. Oh and the cuttlebugs from Craftsulove come with a set of 4 small embossing folders and a cutter to compliment, also a fab booklet with lots of samples and tips. You do not get these from all places that sell the cuttlebug so be sure to check this out and if you do order please tell them Caz encouraged you to go to them :) ta muchly

Sistahs!

Caiden napping so I managed to put this card together. I never used to like "images" I like the whole process of stamping, colouring, cardmaking as one. But I think its the way to go for me right now. I took my H20's, bella images and waterbrush to bed the other night and coloured a few. So today when Caiden was napping I ran upstairs and put this one together in just a few minutes. As Em would say I hope you likey?

Also wanted to show you some "stash" I got yesterday. As you know shopping ban is on, but I got some money sent to me on paypal so I just had to spend it. I fell in love with this cuttlebug die when I saw someone do something fabby with it and a fella. I will find out who did what with it and show you. Since then I have been longing for it, but not being able to find it in any of the local stockists.

LOL I just re-read the above post and I thought how funny it read about doing something fab with the die and a fella!! LOL for those that dont know, stamping bella has released some great images of men and called them fellas! So its not something I am going to do with Darren :) One of my fella stamps is what I meant!

Oppps how did that happen?

I've been getting a friend to add a few bellas onto her orders for me for some time and then decided to call them in when she said she had a few there for me. (cough cough) yes there are a few aren't there? She also got me these cute crabs! Oh, how I was tempted to title this post "I've got crabs" LOL that would have made ya look :0)

Its surprising how a bella here and a fella there and I had quiet a pile. I just thought it would save shipping if she held them there for me until I had a "few". Ohh rubbah (sorry too much time of ems blog) heaven!

I cant wait to play. After colouring in the Sistahoodabellas I totally fell for this stamp so I am so pleased to own it :) This was all paid for BEFORE my shopping ban so I escaped this one :)

Oh yeah, hubby update ** my suspicions about the motives of my husbands willingness to help me today was all correct!! hes down the pub! men eh? read 'em like a book.

Shopping and stamping

Two of the my favourite things. Well actually thats a lie. I dont actually like shopping, other than craft shopping. But thats the kind I did yesterday so it was a good day. A Hobbycraft superstore opened in Crawley, thats not too far from here so we all went down to have a look. Hubby doesnt get paid until next week, so pennies are a little tight, but he had £20 with him which he gave to me. I had a coupon for £3 off if you spend £15 so I had a wander. Things I was excited about in there were : Ribbon spools for 99p, felt for 19p, pencils available to buy singularly, storage boxes, there were lots of other bits and bobs that were nice and handy to have this down the road incase I need something. Things I was disappointed about were : No cricut or cuttlebug, in fact no die cutting stuff, cant remember seeing a who lot of card and papers either. Of course this was whilst dragging a 4 year old round with my and part way hubby and 1 year old so I could do with a wander by myself.

I spent the most of my money on ribbons, 99p for a spool, cute ribbons. I got grosgrain with faux stitching through it, a couple of others and some sheets of felt which I wanted to use with my cuttlebug and YES it does cut it just like a knife through butter I was almost shocked.

Oh and I spent about £5 on Harvey getting him some paper kit, paint tray and 4 solid cakes of paint and a pack of paint brushes!

I couldnt resist the orange spool, it was down as £1.99 on the shelf but when it went through the till it was 99p also!!

As for stamping, well I have 2 classes next Saturday at the glitter pot and I have FINALLY amde something with my coasters. Its cute so far and not finished. I will take pictures and post after the class, not fair for the paying customers to see it before the class so I will keep it a surprise.

Great post today - Penny Black, coasters and Whippersnapper

I had a fun post today. First there was a pack of coasters from Sue from the Cricut Message Board, she very kindly offered my half her bundle of coasters and didnt want anything for it, just a thank you for the circles and signatures I have made for people on there. Now wasnt that sweet?! Second there was a stamp and ink pad from Judi, I get lots of goodies from her. And last but not least THREE Penny Black alphabet sets and one number set, www.pennyblackinc.com or www.theglitterpot.co.uk for uk shoppers!

I am still working on the bella box, I had hoped Caiden was napping right now so I could finish this off and share with you. Also I will be working on a Stampendous clear pail decorated with doddlebug ribbons, jewels and stamps! But again, I can not share with you as this is for a magazine article. I am soooo excited about this, I hope it looks half as good as I want it to :)

Carrying on from yesterdays blub, Harvey has indeed found Charlotte alive and well in our hallway. A tiny spider on the step ladder than Darren brought in from the garden to get into the loft. Harvey talks to Charlotte and forces me to say Hello when we pass her. She's ok, shes small, about 2 pin heads in size, so I can cope with that. Had she been any bigger she would be out the door like a shot! Oh and he must of liked it as at 8:30 this morning he was watching it again, asking me to vow that I wouldnt cry again. [dont tell him I did though] its a great film though, a story I remember from my childhood and I remember the little runt guinea pig that I loveingly called Wilbur and hand fed through a pipette, sadly he died, I did try though, and I cried and cried when he died :( Funny the things you remember, enjoy and try to pass onto your kids.

Great day... too bad for the powercut

Well that was fun.... a 12 hour + powercut so no crafting and certainly no cricuting. Thankfully most of it was during the night, it started at 9:15pm last night and power came on sometime after 11am this morning. Hmmm I am so thankful for my gas hob.

Great mail day, the mouse and Bellas have landed so I am in for a fun night, power permitting. First job is to make a thank you card for my special friend in USA who helped me out. (again)

My Ribbons came!

My Ribbons came, my ribbons came! Doing the happy dance. 6 beautiful bright rolls of spotty ribbon and best of all another great card from Candice. She sent me the beautiful "now your stylin" Minnie mouse card she made. (IBelieve they are autumn leaves stamps - which I NEED) I will take a photo later. Also in the post today I got Hero Arts birds set from www.theglitterpot.co.uk and I am hoping to sneak upstairs when Darren gets home to play with my birds and ribbons :) I will be sure to show you what I have done when I have done it.

Another beautiful day here. Just brought Harvey some school shorts and he looks sooooo cute! The best thing is they are NO IRON!! YIPEEE I HATE HATE HATE ironing and no word of a lie I rarely do it. We just all walk around crumpled! :o) thank goodness the days of "proper" school shirts are gone and polo shirts are fine, still they do get a little crumpled but I like to either dry them in the drier to hang them out quick and hope for the best..... theres certainly better things in life that to iron, I just end up chasing the creases around with the iron and ending up with something MORE crumpled that before....
