Four for you

Here are the four cards we made today on the classes. I think all the ladies enjoyed the classes. There was lots of colouring and cutting. All stamps are either Magnolia or Alota stamps.

Lovely day at Crafts U Love

I had a lovely day at Crafts U Love yesterday. All apart from a headache that was making me feel quiet ill. I was demoing and classing. The demo was using Magnolia and Alota stamps to make some cute cards and the Class was a clever double slider card and the Stampendous Frogs. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of this card, its hard to get the WOW factor off of a photo with this one.

Here are a couple from yesterday - look nicer in real life as they were coloured with the sparkling paints and you cant get the shimmer from them in the photos.

Both are using the very lovely "tilda in hat" and the Alota stamps - the glass sold out (but is being re ordered) the circle is one of many on a whole sheet of circles or ovals. the lines are thanks to the window I was taking them at, it was the kind with the wire through the glass and to be honest I just wanted to get home as soon as it finished as my headache was really getting me down.

Got home, had some tea and then as evening came I ended up with the most horrendous pain. I wasnt sure where it was comign from but it was agony and coming in waves. If I hadnt known better I would have said labour pains!! Without going to too much detail, I had a very "funny tummy"sometime after, just before I was thinking I might need to go to hospital! Harvey as you know wasnt well last Friday, Caiden has had a funny tummy all week but been fine in himself, Darren has too had this and I thought I had escaped it as it was a week after Harvey wasnt well and he didnt even get the tummy, just being violently sick. I went to bed at 8.30 and not even the spell of Edward Cullen could keep me awake. (my Twilight Book) although didnt get to sleep until about 10 as these pains were keeping me awake.

Bug Update

It seems everyone loves the bugs! You can get them from Crafts U Love, sorry if my posts didnt make it really clear. Not sure on stock status though. Although I am sure if they were out they would have re ordered more already.

Buggy good time

I've have a buggy good time with these sweeties today ;0) Caiden napping, Harvey watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and mummy playing, OH what fun! And I think I "invented" a cute little card... probably not, but I made it up from playing and I dont know what its called so I will call it the Triangle Stage card because the bug is sitting in its own "little stage" which of course as the name implies is a triangle shape! It's hardly brain surgery.. but I thought it was something a little different. The bug is literally just poked inside so there isnt any mechanics, you'd need to send it flat and just instruction receiver to poke the picture into the slits either side.

This is just a plain ol' 6 x 6 square card - both cards coloured with Promarkers. I love the clean and simple look for these bug stamps. Bugs from Crafts U Love.

Tomorrow I am demoing at The Glitter Pot in Scaynes Hill, Nr Haywards Heath, getting in the Christmas spirit with a Penny Black Christmas demo... should be fun! Come along and say Hi, I think I'll probably knock up a Triangle Stage cards tomorrow.

Alota Bugs... and more bugs

Seems there are bugs about! and not just the cute little rubbery kind. ;0) Harvey has been complaining of tummy pains all afternoon, Darren said he has been feeling dizzy and Caiden has just been given the all clear from the doctors after being very wingey and pulling his ears, she said they looked fine, but has given him some cream for a rash he has in a place a little boy doesnt want a rash and yes I tried all sorts of nappy creams and non worked.

Anyway, back to the cute bugs, not the icky ones. Crafts U Love got these ADORABLE stamps in, of course they were chanting my name and wouldnt stop until I promised them sanctury in my Palace along with their Alota cowboy chums and the country girls.

Yeee Haw!

I love these little cowboys from Alota stamps and I got three more of these cuties at the weekend, couldnt resist! I got them from Crafts U Love. Also whilst there Geoff gave me some of these cute little bags to "see what I could do with them". Have a few things in mind and this is one of them. Ultra simple idea, cover the front and back with designer paper and decorate to make adorable gift bags... apparently these are a "very good price" so check out their website to see if they are on there and get decorating!

Harvey thinks the bag is for him bless him I will have to make one now wont I?

Blue

Not my mood although I was a bit down last night but the colour of my card. I dont use blue much so I decided to break away from the orange and make a blue (and yellow) card.

The stamp is an adorable "alota" stamp from Crafts U Love. These are lovely to colour and just my style too. The paper is Stampin' Up! and you can order it through your chosen/local demo (or me) The flower is from Crafts U Love. I have added a few "zoomz" for good measure, these are from www.stampgalaxy.co.uk I do hope it helps you when I list where I get things from. I am guessing it might save questions in the end. If you do ever order from anyone I suggest please tell them Caz sent ya!

I actually coloured this one image 4 times, twice with pencils and twice with promarkers just to see how they looked, again one pro marker in the blue scheme and one pencil and promarker in a red/orange scheme. My feelings are that promarkers and pencils are fab! they are so very different I cant compaire them, they are both lovely in their own rights.

Hey cowboy

Isn't this the cutest cowboy & girl ever? I am pleasd to FINALLY own some Alota stamps an picked up a few this Saturday at Crafts U Love. These two stamps are seperate but I wish I now went for the cowboy set as its fantastic price and has loads of other designs.

The paper I used for this card was Craft U Love, it actually I suppose the reverse side of some very lovely paper, but to be honest I brought it for the back design coz you know I LOVE ORANGE! The patterns to be also look quiet western I think!?

I have other Alota stamps to share so will hopefully make some more cards this week. Talking of card making here is my Harvey this morning and he did some amazing colouring (for him) usually its a scribble of colour over the entire thing in one colour, but this time he really tried! I was well impressed. Note he cant just colour like a "normal" 5 year old, has to be with the aqua painter!!
