A Whippersnapper Morning

I had a fun class at Crafts U Love this morning. We made two whippersnapper cards using boys stamps and papers. And then when I got home I had 20 minutes to throw a card together for a friend of Harveys birthday. Before I go on an update on Harvey. Hes fine, he didnt go to school today for two reasons. 1 he was a little uncomfortable in the night and didnt sleep well and 2. I was working and the last thing I needed mid class was a call to pick him up due to his arm hurting, so I felt it best all round to have a second day off school. He will be back tomorrow.

Here is one card we made, and the inside picture follows. I made the little hidy message part with my nesties.

Crafts U Love have some FAB boys papers in stock. And to show off these papers to the max I was recently inspired by someones cards on their blog this past week (I will look for link and post) and she made these fantastic quilt cards. So here is my simple take on it.
http://cardsbyboop.blogspot.com/ it was here I was inspired, Malin, her cards are AMAZING!

And lastly here is my last minute card for Harveys friend Joe who's birthday it is today. Here is the card (and pressie)

I LOVE Diamond Dust!

I was demoing at Crafts U Love today, playing with Whippersnapper and Magnolia... Now I was in heaven! You know how I love them.... so I am sure you dont want the waffle today... just show me the cards right?

Here you are.....

Diamond Dust is the crystal stuff you can see on and around these cards. Its actually made from very fine crushed glass! It has a beautiful frosty look and a lovely glimmer that is more subtle than glitter. I LOVE IT! Keep checking out Crafts U Loves website as it sold out today, thank goodness I squirrelled away a pot before I started demoing! I hope you like these cards today?

Beddy Byes

My boys went beddy byes early so Mummy got to play! Here is what I did.

You know I went to Crafts U Love last night and I was making a candle with the cute Whipper Snapper girl... well this little girly was calling me "Caz, take me home, Psssst, Caz, let me come and play in your palace" Well of course I couldnt ignore her plea. So along with my new bag (see below) she came to live a happy life with the other stamps in my Palace.

So tonight when I went to the Palace I heard her again "Caz, ink me up, go on, you know you want to. Oi! Caz, do ya hear me?!" So I gave in and made a card. I teamed her up with my scalloped Nestie (The Glitter Pot), the pumpkin pie paper (Stampin' Up!) Word Circle (Stampin Up!) and the paper is Stampin' Up! too. A few beautiful flowers and a Bellas Bauble for the middle.

Hope you like?

Oh and before I go, here is the other pesky craft item that made me buy it last night! Look at all those pencils... it fab it holds all my pencils, waterbrushes, scissors, staz on, versafine, creaser, trimmer, cardstock, glue, glitter glue, ruler and more!!

A card for today

I went to Crafts U Love today to get some stuff to prep with for my up and coming evening class (this Wednesday) and I chose this stamp to decorate the candle we will be doing but I had to try it out and BOY am I in love... she is ADORABLE! I made this little card using some scrummy paper and a little bit of stitching too... Would have only take me half an hour but Harvey decided to take my bobbin out my machine the other day and it wasnt working properly. I re threaded, re bobbined and turned the tension up and it works fine now.

Coloured with watercolour pencils I got my new white gel pen from Stampin Up! and added the little dots as I have seen it on other peoples blogs and I am trying to be as clever as them! LOL
If you are after a true while pen this is the one for you!

Fun at the Glitter Pot

Had a demo at the Glitter pot today and it was great fun. Lots of people coming along to chat, look and buy. I was playing with the Whippersnapper Stamps and H20s and here are the cards I made :0)
There are a few Penny Black stamps thrown in as there are so fun! I also used some Woodware Ribbons, Doodlebug Sugar glitters, scalloped punches, Dovecraft Papers :)
I hope you like.
On a different note I said to Darren he should take Harvey to the cinema tomorrow. Weather is due to be rainy and Harvey hasnt done anything exciting this school holiday. Harvey hasnt been before so it will be sooooo exciting for him. Tickets are booked and I will take Caiden food shopping whilst they have fun at the pictures watching ratatoie (I cant spell it OK LOL) Anyway Darren told Harvey and he is like MEGA excited. I am excited for them, but also pouting a little as I would have loved to have taken H and also I want to see the film.
Oh BTW Wendy! Sorry I didnt get to say bye, chat online soon :) Hope you liked the stamps and I brought a long alphabet cutter with the money for the other bits:) ta muchly xx

Such a sweet birdy

I don't work like the normal stamper, I usually grab a stamp, colour it in and then work all the rest of it together. When I was working last Saturday Francoise Read was telling a lady "always get your paper first". I thought to myself, yeah that makes sense.... but still I do it my own jumbled way! LOL So this creation was my jumbled way of making this card. I stamped the very cute Whippersnapper stamp that I forgot I had! LOL I colour it in and then I stood for ages trying to work the other bits into it.

It's a different combination for me, thats for sure, but I like it. The colours a are bit "off" from the orginal and you can not quiet see the colours on the bird.
