Squirrel Fun

I made this squirrel in these colours before we went and had a fun day at the British Wildlife Trust and their beautiful Red Squirrels.

This is made using the Sizzix Happi Squirrel with Flower die (crafts U Love IN STOCK), Hero Arts Newsprint stamp (Order from CUL) and the Memory Box Spring border (Crafts U Love IN STOCK)

This is a large die and is on a 8 x 8 card base to make a lovely large card.

And here are a few pictures from our day out last week.

We had a lovely time.  My kids love animals so really enjoyed getting to see so many wonderful British animals.  The centre is only opened during school holidays and they run talks every 1/2 hour which includes them feeding the animals so in tern means the animals are very close to see.

Last kids create and take tomorrow

The last kids create and take tomorrow and I designed this little "hangy" for them to hang up in their bedroom.  Once again I used sizzix dies to create the bird and also used the top of the tree for the very top of the hanger to make the cloud.

Its hard to photograph, but basically I have used a pringle lid as the top of the hanger, stuck the cloud onto that and then just used ribbon to hang it through.  

I think if I were to make another I might use Twine next time.

The kids that come along a quite young so it needs to be simple sticking pretty much and also I do like them to make something for them as opposed to just make a card.

Happi Bird

Playing with another Sizzix Die from the Happi range.  I love this funny bird.  I have used this with the fence and also a couple of stamps from Hero Arts (Woodgrain and clouds)

This cute little bird just made me chuckle when I saw him.  He is a bit crazy!  Here he is flapping for all his might to get over the fence to send a message to a friend... awwwww.

Pop U Happi Card

This card combined even more Sizzix with the Happi Dies and Pop and Cuts being used.

here is the outside (above) with the candles from the Marianne cupcake set being used, Technique Tuesday Happy Birthday seal and a very old Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Here is the inside with the Happi Puppy and Happi Tree, also used the Woodware 

Happy Birthday wording, a DO Craft ticket stamp and curls and swirls embossing folder.  This has been mounted onto the pop and cuts basic system and perfect for a 6 year old boy.

All materials from Crafts U Love apart from the very old cuttlebug folder.

Pink Pup

Again playing with the Sizzix Happi Dies here I have used the Puppy and made her very girlie indeed.

I have also use the Happi Tree and Magnolia fence to create a little scene.
