Happy Birthday Darren .... now get our there and work on my palace

LOL

Poor hubby, he has a busy birthday! He is going to be earning him self some big fat browny points to redeem at a later date. I am hoping the electrics will be done, without the house blowing up! or my Palace more importantly :0) I am hoping the carpet will be laid and most of the furniture is put in too. Maybe even by the end of tomorrow my first creation will come to life? It will be wonderful to have my stamps out of the blocked cupboard in the bedroom, all my stuff together again.

So as promised I made a card... I used a Stampendous Changito stamp... cute eh? the other stamped elements are Stampendous too, the scalloped label, words and the birthday words. Fran has made some fantastic designs this release. Can you see how much I love my hubby? I mean, 4 flowers! 4 zoomz! gotta love someone to give him all that! LOL [how my twisted mind works, I show you my love by the number of pritties I put on your card - hey calm down Caz they can always be picked off, or even better get him to give you the WHOLE card back!]

If you look close enough you can see the swiss dots cuttlebugged "Rose Red" piece of cardstock. This has to be my fav Stampin' Up! colour, this is teamed up with some lovely Daisy Bucket paper and Old Olive SU card base.

Paper, Changito, Flowers - all from Glitter Pot
Other stamps could be ordered from GP for you, ask them!
Cardstock is SU and available from your preferred SU rep - or me! :)

** edited photo to add my adorable watermark .... see side bar for link to lady who can make you one too!! ------------------------------------>

I will be out there later with my camera in hand, taking shots as it all comes together. If you dont wanna read the shedscapades I suggest "staying away from the blog" for a good few days.. but hey, thats up to you, there might be a card, so it's your call!

A card!! Don't all leave I made a card!

Seems you cant please everyone, you would think at my age I would realise that already but it is still a lesson to learn. My chatter has put a few people off my blog, Oh well, such is life. If I cant use my blog how I want to then whats the point? You know I chat to my blog like I chat to all my friends, sometimes its interesting, sometimes its not, sometimes I am happy, mostly I might add and other times I am less than happy. Anyway my boys slept a good sleep, but I was worried they would wake so I didnt stamp. However since they both woke and were watching Nick Jr I whizzed upstairs "like super woman" and made this simple card.

This is for all the other super women out there and for all those that want to stay and listen to my c**p sometimes :) I think as a race, all us women are super at times. Most mums are super all the time. Who else would wipe more bottoms than we choose to each day, scoup up cat sick from the pavement (yes that was me this morning YUCK) all the while planning the teas for the week (and I WASNT inspired by the sick LOL) fold the laundry, ect ect ect
HUGS TO THE SUPER WOMEN OUT THERE! May your bottom wipes be few, cat sick be non exhistent and your days wonderful..... Oh yeah da Caz is back! this is the one you know and love isnt it?? MAWH!
About the card : Stamp Da Bella who else?? Flower stamp Elzybells, White ink, Black ink, watercolour pencils, aqua brush, glitter glue, Doodlebug Jewel, Prima Flower, ribbon

Chocolate...

Nope not what you eat.... some to look at on this chocolate and aqua Magnolia card :0)

I love this little girl, this is an image I got from Kim (Ta mate) I used watercolour pencils to colour it in. The swirls are from The Glitter Pot and are a sizzix long die (fab), ribbons in the criss cross (again) and some zoomz and glitter to finish. Oh and the fabby flower was a gift from my NSSS from the Cricut forum Sherilyn

Thursdays card

Here is todays card. I coloured this in this morning and meant to finish the Presentahbella first but this one happened before. I do all the assembly for these cards mostly downstairs, I have a sidebord in the front room and a stack of boxes with different and mostly my new or most loved things. Currently I have my box of bellas, my Magnolia stamps, some House Mouse Stamps, my Baubles and Zoomz and my Stampin Up! papers, card and punch. When I coloured this one in I sort of had this colour scheme in mind, in that I had chosen to use the Cutie Pie papers from SU. I love the saying "knit Happens" which I got from Stamping Bella, but thankfully I dont really know anyone in a crisis at the moment so I used one of my circles that I designed along with my SU scalloped punch.

All the papers and card are Stampin Up!, the flowers are Bazzill, stamp Stamping Bella, Words by Caz, Baubles for centres of flowers, coloured with Watercolour Pencils.

Taking Caiden to doctors at 6;10pm, I am not sure they can do anything but I want them to check him out. He has had two small naps today but both times is coughing and doing like a inward gasp before he coughs, not nice for him. I am hoping he wont throw up on me tonight, running out of PJ's for us both!

Ohhh that's cool!

My craft room is a mess, is was an even bigger mess but I spent a little time up there this morning tidying and throwing. Whilst going through my files I found some A-Z files, you know the dividers that going into folders with A-Z tabs. These are plastic ones, see thru in different colours and thats when a lightbulb went off in my head. How cool would these be to punch and make my own plasma type shapes. So off went the cleaning mode and I grabbed the nearest flower punch to hand. This is the result....

Needless to say I am thrilled that I over brought these, I actually have about 4 unopened packs which include pink, blue, green, yellow and more colours to play with and I can make 100's of embellishments with these!! My challenge for myself is to make a card using these, that will be my next card for my blog.

Just wanted to share this little gem with you, check out your local stationers you never know what you can find.
