Ketto Bling

I love Stamping Bellas, I love the kettos and the huggabuggs too. They are all adorable images, perfect for colouring. So I have really neglected my bellas of late so I dusted off a Ketto image and made this card. I am not sure if The Craft Barn here in the UK have these in stock, I know they do have some Bellas. I coloured this in the other night whilst watching Big Brother, now the lighting was terrible and the yellow background looked fine in the lamplight, not so great here though! But I didnt want to waste her, so here she is.

Bloggabella Bellerific Challenge

I always want to join in with challenges but rarely do, by the time I really think about it its usually past the deadline. However for some reason unbeknown to man I managed a challenge!!

SO here was the inspiration from the bella site....

I instantly knew I wanted to use lots of the beautiful flowers I have horded down in my shed, but I also knew that I wanted to have something that I would be able to see and appreciate so I made this.....

this is going to take pride of place in my crafty palace (my craft chalet) The centre is just held on with white tac so I can change the image, but I thought this crafty huggabugg was perfect!

I made a cute card last night, another chasing butterflies card BUT I cant share as its for the magazine! Boo Hoo! LOL

Putting a few of you out of suspense

OK a few of you tried to guess and a couple of you were right. I got a lovely package of Bella stamps... well they were actually Ketto stamps... there are so many lovely Ketto's to choose from, I really didnt know what to get. So I got 4 Kettos, 2 animals, 2 patterns and 1 Huggabug.





In the words of Bella, "I lovey them all"... here is a picture to drool over! and a little one that I started today.

A little card

ARGH the headache this card has given me.... well the PC, its taken me 5 hours to upload it! here is a cute Huggabugg from Stampingbella.com I have coloured it with promarkers, added glittered card candy (Thanks Jules for the idea) and teamed it up with some Stampin' Up! ribbon, cardstock and stamped background. Oh and not forgetting the oval all set and punch.

I am mega busy this week, preparing for a demonstrator meeting, classes this weekend and other deadlines so not sure how much more I will get done before the weekend to show you, although I want to!! LOL just not enough hours in the day.

I quiet like reading, but not really sure on what I like, but for some reason the hype about the "Twilight" series has got me curious and I brought the first one yesterday. It will take me a week or so to read it as I only get snatches in bed before I am too tired to read more. But so far its good ;0)

Scrapling again

Whilst sorting out my stamps to sell I came across this little cutie, she is called Hugging Hearts and she is from Stampendous. Sad thing is I havent inked her up for probably nearly 10 years!! and the sadder thing is is that if you like her you wont be able to get her as she was released long time ago when Stampendous held the licence for "Our Kids" images. Sorry not meaning to tease but I just had the urge to ink her up!


Today I sent a photo of the cottage pie I had made Darren. I dont cook them that often so was proud that I had made it. I sent him the picture of the minced beef in gravy with carots and onions before I put it in the dish with the mashed potato on it and you know what he text back? "Is that sick"... LOL I suppose with the carrots he can be let of... I called him back and said "no its your tea"... heeee heee I wont eat it, I dont like mince but it smelt yummy whilst I was cooking it.

The stamp is one of the ADORABLE Huggabugs from stampingbella. All the papers are from the very fabby Stampin' Up! (via me if you havent got a demonstrator) The cute heart is from Crafts U Love but I think they might have sold out of these. As are the pins with a pearl on top, but they do (did) still have these in stock. Coloured with pencils and lashings of glitter glue.

Todays ramblings

I have made a card type thing for my niece for her birthday, she is 14 tomorrow!! GULP. I used two small white lunch bags that I got from Crafts U Love and I covered them with a lovely girly paper, then I punched two holes on the left hand side and I left the "open" sides of the bags open on the right. I tied them together with ribbon and then I used one of my new Bellas on the front with the Stampin' Up! Saleabration set to make the flower and finished the centre off with one of the beautiful Bellas Dots.

I used the SU tab punch to create a tab and put a piece of card onto it with some money attached that was in the second back bag and the front one I stuffed with images for Danielle to colour as she does like to dabble with cardmaking.

FLASH THE STASH

Here is my fab stash in all its glory from www.stampingbella.com I am waiting from Emily to find out if there is a UK supplier with her dots and newer stamps. When I find out I will let you know. Now these dots, I knew I liked them, but when I got them in my hands I Loved them, they are cute little dots of glittery happiness! LOL I promptly told Darren I couldnt use them! LOL but as you can see I have used one! I got 6 huggabuggs, 1 bella and one cute witch and cat which I am sort of regretting buying, not that I dont like it, coz I do love it, but seeing that halloween is so long away I should of got another regular stamp. Oh well!

I wanted to take part in the Bella sketch challenge on Splitcoast and here is my card. I used my fabby scallop punch that a lovely lady in the USA found for me... she found me 4! I also used some yummy candy dots from Craftwork Cards - this colour is veryBerry and a colour scheme I requested!! WOW... The paper is as mentioned below from The Glitter Pot and I got the Bella from www.stampingbella.com The oval word is also Craftwork Cards, they have some great stuff dont they?

I really loved using this stamp and I love the patterned paper I used.

Show and tell

This card was one of the spinner cards we made at Crafts U Love yesterday - I used fluffles stamps that can be brought from them at www.craftsulove.co.uk

A few more notepads to show and tell and thanks for all the feedback re these ;0) More girlie ones and a few boy ones too. I have really enjoy dusting off my Sugar Nellie stamps and my Bellas too and breaking in my stamposaurus stamps too. I know lots of people love the new Sugar Nellie stamps but I am not into the more recent ones (no disrespect just not my style) I love their Nellie and Luca and I CANT WAIT for the new ones coming in the new year!! Craft Fair is tonight.. I am selling the notepads for £1 and I think I will lower the prices of the reindeer food and poop to 50p...

These were to be in the Beautiful Cards magazine that came out this week but unfortunately for me the wording that I sent the magazine didnt get there, they had been emailing me on the wrong email and so these were left out the magazine. Really sad coz I thought they were quiet nice cards and also I dont get any money and we were really counting on that coming this month ;(

I have two cards for tonight then I will be most probably unable to make any cards for fun as I have two deadlines to meet before Satuday, well actually 6 cards by Thursday and then prep for two classes for Saturday! Opps!

This is one of my fav Bellas. Cute eh? I teamed her up with the Magnolia Fence and wording and butterflies from a Hero Arts Set.

This is another card from my Holiday.

Magnolia stamps and I coloured their trousers in combat style, turned out quiet good. The wall is fab isnt it? The wording is Stampin Up! and part of their Escape offer. The punches are SU too and all the cards from my holiday have been coloured with SU crayons.

I love Magnolia, thats for sure, Tilda and Edwin are the cutest... however I really love Paulines extra designs, seats, trees, fences, ect ect to make some lovely pictures, this Shabby Chic fence is a new fav, it needed "something" in the sky so I added a cute little dragonfly from the Unfrogettable set from SU.

I finally got (and broke) my Tesco sharpener, I had my 120 box of prismacolor pencils to sharpen, got to about 110 and CRACK it broke ;( Bit bummed about that. I have been having a little play with these pencils and I quiet like what I have done... Not sure if its right, as I havent got a proper card in real life to compair to, so if one of you amazing colouring people out there would like to RAK me a card I will rak you one back and I can see how I am doing with it!

Enjoy Life

I am doing as this stamp says and enjoying life. Am here in the sun in Spain with my Hubby, kids, Mum and in Laws. They had a good splash in the pool and it was FREEZING! I went in up to my knees. Maybe tomorrow?

I have made 4 cards so far. Its fun as its kinda of like a limited supplies challenge as I only brought a few bits.

Every bunny loves some bunny

and I love Snowbunnybella :) Here she is, I had to get her but then it took me a week to ink her up. I have just been so into my magnolias this past week or two. Doesnt mean I love her any less. Oh BTW Em has posted a new Bella today so go on over to her site to see it. Its a lovely stamp but released with a sad story, check her blog out.

My card, well I used Basic Grey paper, lots of glitter glue, a fab sentiment (Sorry cant remember who by) snowflake punchies (from Glitter Pot), bella (Creative Living) Cuttlebug folder (Glitter Pot or Crafts U Love), some lovely ribbon and pencils.

ONE DAY TO GO!!!

A card!! Don't all leave I made a card!

Seems you cant please everyone, you would think at my age I would realise that already but it is still a lesson to learn. My chatter has put a few people off my blog, Oh well, such is life. If I cant use my blog how I want to then whats the point? You know I chat to my blog like I chat to all my friends, sometimes its interesting, sometimes its not, sometimes I am happy, mostly I might add and other times I am less than happy. Anyway my boys slept a good sleep, but I was worried they would wake so I didnt stamp. However since they both woke and were watching Nick Jr I whizzed upstairs "like super woman" and made this simple card.

This is for all the other super women out there and for all those that want to stay and listen to my c**p sometimes :) I think as a race, all us women are super at times. Most mums are super all the time. Who else would wipe more bottoms than we choose to each day, scoup up cat sick from the pavement (yes that was me this morning YUCK) all the while planning the teas for the week (and I WASNT inspired by the sick LOL) fold the laundry, ect ect ect

HUGS TO THE SUPER WOMEN OUT THERE! May your bottom wipes be few, cat sick be non exhistent and your days wonderful..... Oh yeah da Caz is back! this is the one you know and love isnt it?? MAWH!

My house is a mess....

So what do I do when Harveys at school? Make a card what else? Takes my mind off my previous post. I coloured this adorable Bella in last week so I just had to quickly mount it up today. The sentiment was one of those cheapy stamps from those bins at Crafts Central, I love it, nice sentiment, text and I love the way its in a circle, sometimes it is worth a rummage through those things.





The flowers are Bazzill wings from The Glitter Pot the centres of the flowers are zoomz from Stamp Galaxy apart from the one in the yellow flower which is a Bellas Bauble from Creative Pastimes. You cant see it well in the photo but they are green, orange and a browny colour.

MingMing. We had a look yesterday and we are sure she is a she :) which I am pleased about. Our old rabbit Stamper wasnt good to handle and he was a BIG lop eared male. he wasnt "done" and he was a bit of a bruiser and used to squirt if he got the kids near him so it wasnt nice. Harvey is pleased to have MingMing to cuddle. It looks like he is squashing her! but I can assure you he wasnt :)

Groovy Baby

This bella is about to jump off the parcel and burst into a Austin Powers type song isnt she?

For this card I used the fabby Presentahbella from Stamping Bella, card from SU in blue bayou and Pomegranite (YUMM), layered onto the Cutie Pie paper. Again I used a "Caz's" circle, this is a newer one that I designed to fit the SU punch, I will get a sheet or two finished up and then have it as a download on here. I have a few different words done already but want to fill up a page before sharing it.

When I coloured this card in I didnt know what I was going to layer it onto but when I put it with the other colours of card I found that it went really well.

I had sleep last night!! Got Caidens antibiotics down him disguised in a Fromage Frais, he slept most of the night and wasnt gasping and coughing. He had a little coughing fit just now but is settled and napping YIPPEE :) Harveys at school, was talking to some mums up the school and one said there was a picture of him in the local paper, so I managed to hunt it out on the internet, I was very excited as the last school photo he was almost chopped off from it as he is standing behind a taller girl and this one looks like he being bitten on his bottom!! LOL he has a really funny face.... seems we are doomed.... Next week he is due to have his solo school photo and we are going to take Caiden as well, I hope we get a good one of them together.

Thursdays card

Here is todays card. I coloured this in this morning and meant to finish the Presentahbella first but this one happened before. I do all the assembly for these cards mostly downstairs, I have a sidebord in the front room and a stack of boxes with different and mostly my new or most loved things. Currently I have my box of bellas, my Magnolia stamps, some House Mouse Stamps, my Baubles and Zoomz and my Stampin Up! papers, card and punch. When I coloured this one in I sort of had this colour scheme in mind, in that I had chosen to use the Cutie Pie papers from SU. I love the saying "knit Happens" which I got from Stamping Bella, but thankfully I dont really know anyone in a crisis at the moment so I used one of my circles that I designed along with my SU scalloped punch.


All the papers and card are Stampin Up!, the flowers are Bazzill, stamp Stamping Bella, Words by Caz, Baubles for centres of flowers, coloured with Watercolour Pencils.

Taking Caiden to doctors at 6;10pm, I am not sure they can do anything but I want them to check him out. He has had two small naps today but both times is coughing and doing like a inward gasp before he coughs, not nice for him. I am hoping he wont throw up on me tonight, running out of PJ's for us both!
