Last kids create and take tomorrow

The last kids create and take tomorrow and I designed this little "hangy" for them to hang up in their bedroom.  Once again I used sizzix dies to create the bird and also used the top of the tree for the very top of the hanger to make the cloud.

Its hard to photograph, but basically I have used a pringle lid as the top of the hanger, stuck the cloud onto that and then just used ribbon to hang it through.  

I think if I were to make another I might use Twine next time.

The kids that come along a quite young so it needs to be simple sticking pretty much and also I do like them to make something for them as opposed to just make a card.

Owl Box

Another post from me :) I made this the other night using the Sizzix Scoreboards Candy Drawer.  I only had one piece of stiff card for the drawer and the other part I used some other random card so it will be better with matching card but its a nice start :)  I used the Penny Black paper pad for decoration, love this new pad, its just my style.

I used for the inside a Poppy Stamp Owl die, his is soooo cute, holding a little heart for someone.  I haven't decorated the outside of the box yet as I wasn't sure who to give it to.  Had a few friends at work saying I could give it to them!

Its circus time!

Roll up Roll Up! Come on bring the kids to the circus tomorrow at Crafts U Love in Charlwood. OK Maybe not the real circus but there they can make this cute little popcorn bag decorated in the circus theme! I will also be taking along my Popcorn machine so for those that are allowed they can chuck some real popcorn in it too! Create and take costs £3 per child. 10:30 am - 1:30pm

Spooky House

Here I have been playing the with Sizzix Big Shot Pro House die.  This is a fantastic die for making houses of all sorts.  So I decided my first house would be a Halloween House.

I have added a few decorative additions the bat, pumpkin and leaves.  I am looking forward to making different houses just as soon as I have got myself some more card to cut them from.

Once upon a time... a long time ago...

I used to blog everyday!  and I used to really enjoy it.  But then life takes hold and there are more important things than blogging.  But just lately I have been really enjoying making cards most evenings am making something and have blogged more this month already than I have for many a month.  I hope are enjoying it along with me.  I am not the best at anything, my cards are very very simple but its the style I like and maybe this simple style brought you here in the first place?

so here is my next card, I made this for one of the most special

men in my life, My Brother Dave.  Its his Birthday today and he is getting 

REALLY old!! LOL   Nearer 50 than 40 although he keeps himself very active

managing the local football team, playing golf ect

Happi Bird

Playing with another Sizzix Die from the Happi range.  I love this funny bird.  I have used this with the fence and also a couple of stamps from Hero Arts (Woodgrain and clouds)

This cute little bird just made me chuckle when I saw him.  He is a bit crazy!  Here he is flapping for all his might to get over the fence to send a message to a friend... awwwww.

Pop U Happi Card

This card combined even more Sizzix with the Happi Dies and Pop and Cuts being used.

here is the outside (above) with the candles from the Marianne cupcake set being used, Technique Tuesday Happy Birthday seal and a very old Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Here is the inside with the Happi Puppy and Happi Tree, also used the Woodware 

Happy Birthday wording, a DO Craft ticket stamp and curls and swirls embossing folder.  This has been mounted onto the pop and cuts basic system and perfect for a 6 year old boy.

All materials from Crafts U Love apart from the very old cuttlebug folder.
