I am here with my card for the Paper Pros challenge and this months theme was GREEN.
I needed a card for my husbands Birthday and how lucky for me that his preferred beer is green! Also lucky for me there has been a whole ad campaign saying "If Carlsberg did..." So I changed that slightly to "If Carlsberg made cakes".
Now I have an admission to make. I have hundreds of stamps AND hundreds of dies. BUT my paper stash is ridiculous, I mean my paper stash is so pathetic that I could barely find green paper for my card!! Yep, that bad. Still I found this nice green check on the back of a Christmas design so that did the trick. I pulled out some trusty Alphabet Stamps to stamp the words and used printed "Carlsberg" cans for decoration.
Inside the card I used the FABULOUS Karen Burniston KB Riley
Pop Up Cake die. Of course following on the green and beer theme, this little fox looked decidedly cute to hold another can. (I am not sure he is old enough to drink, so I do hold he is just holding onto it)
Its all a bit of fun and pleased this card did double duty in covering the challenge and my up and coming hubbies birthday! 49 this year!
Some of the other Paper Pros are playing along today.
