Hope you all had a lovely Christmas

I had a nice quiet one. Boys loved it and Father Christmas and family were very kind to them and they got some lovely goodies. I got a few nice bits and bobs, sadly no craft stuff but I am used to that as I never do, Darren just doesnt know where to start with that and Mum thinks I have far to much stuff already. I am sure a lot of you understand the obsession with crafts/stamps and can sympathise with me ;)

Twilight Christmas Card

I made this card with some Twilight digi images from Greeting Farm for my niece Kiera who loves the film. She is particularly keen on Carlisle so I thought as well as Bella I would use him as well.

Christmas Table

Not something I usually think about too much but I stumbled across some adorable images from one of my favourite artists Cristy Croll and I had to buy a couple and then of course I needed to use them. So here they are :)

I have used the Christmas Holly fairy and teamed with Stampin Up! papers and ribbons. I cant wait to set these out on the table with the crackers and I also punched some holographic stars and snowflakes too

I opened them in pageplus, added the words, printed and coloured with Promarkers. Cute eh?

A few more Christmas cards

Here are a few Christmas cards I made last night and finished off with glitter today. Mum, Dave and Sue, Dani and Kieran stop looking now!

Now I will waffle a bit in hope that the pictures dont appear in view on my facebook so they wont see them unless they make an effort to look to see them and in that case its up to them! :) What can I say, I am the worlds worst at surprises.

I have used some old stamps, these are by Stampendous and I am pritty sure not available anymore. However I have had them for some years now and I wont part with them, they are so cute and fun arent they?

Coloured with watercolour pencils, some spotty ribbon from stash, glitter from Stampin Up! and punches were too and the Craftwork Cards oval message. Oh and the writing stamp is a retired Elzybells (I believe its retired, It was an old StampingCaz design)

Hope everyone is keeping safe in the ice and snow. Its very slippery here today so I am going to stay in with the kids and not venture out.

Firstly here are a couple of cards I made some time ago. I made them for a magazine article but they didnt want them so sent them back to me. I have meant to upload them for ages but havent had a chance. I have used Anya and Ian stamps on both of them.

I have also been working on a little box tonight, its a pencil box which I have decorated for one of the teachers, well one of the Mrs Coopers since that is what boy boths teachers are called!

Light is rubbish and the photo not great but better than nothing eh? The stamp I used for this was quiet a tricky one to choose due to the orientation of the box, so I had a rummage in the stamps I had up at the house and found this Hero owl one.

Dont fall over

I made a card! Believe me its not through not wanting to make a card, its been lack of mojo and time that has meant I havent posted much. New job, new course means I have hardly anytime for play and I am tired when I do have the time. However I got some Stampavie stamps in the post Saturday and was inspired to use their beautiful stamps to make a card. I still have a few stamps left to play with. Walking in the freezing cold tonight with beavers (can tell I am not impressed about that eh) so I wont be doing anything tonight other than thawing out.





I used a Martha punch called loops for the corner and SU paper for the background.

When doors open, you have to shut the one behind you

Shaz, Joanne and Me - seems ages ago now!! at convention awards night dinner :)

Thats a fact of life, you cant leave them all open. Sadly today I had to shut a door in order for me to move forward to the next door. I have been job hunting for a while, we just dont seem to have enough coming in to cover what goes out, I am sure many of you can relate to that. Of course my first ports of call for asking were places where I currently freelanced. I am pleased to say I have been offered a Saturday job at Crafts U Love, each Saturday. This meaning I cant demo/teach elsewhere as I always do these on a Saturday too, but it also means regular money as opposed to maybe 2 Saturdays a month.



I am thrilled to be joining Paula, Geoff and the team, they are a lovely bunch, great store and its always a different job each Saturday!



As always I am sure I will see many of you about as I cant resist a craft shop and I will still be visiting elsewhere! you cant keep a crafter out can ya?



Not sure where that will leave me classes wise? Maybe that has had its day? who knows.... its exciting to see what happens next.



I will still very much be Stampin Up! ing all the way..... I love that too much to give that up.



You know, my mojo has gone, since coming back from convention I havent crafted one bit... not sure why.... I hope it comes back soon. I think its coz I have soo much else going in my head.

Back from convention and jsut getting into the swing of things. I have lots to tell you, about convention, SU offers and other stuff.

In a very small nutshell there are two offers right now, one is a offer in which when you order you can get a free punch, the leaflet is below. and the other offer is for joining SU at a reduced and FAB rate. Things are busy at the moment. As well as all the usual I am now taking a "helping in schools" course. From this I will get a nvq2 equivalant certificate. So I have one day doing the course and then one whole morning doing my coursework. Then I do library in year 1 on Wednesdays. In effect I am loosing 3 mornings and have next to no time to make cards right now :( shortly I need to add an additional 2 hours at school each week as part of the school too.

Bit I have gotten bitten by something. Started with small scratch, then it just spread

and I havent really been feeling myself. Then hubby got it and I just havent had time for crafting.
