January round-up!

So sorry blogging friends, I don't know where time has gone.  Here is a round up of a few January crafts

This is a birthday card I made for one of my boys friends and a little bear card I made with my NEW CAMEO, yep, my new baby and I LOVE IT!

Here is a card  made with the adorable new die from Marianne and  Hero Arts stamp for the frame.

Here is another Cameo card made using a file from Miss Kates Cuttables
she sells the most adorable SVG's and if you upgrade your Cameo software
you can use these. Also I used the sketch pens to make the wording.

Lastly here is a print and cut card I made using my Cameo and the print and
cut function.  I got my machine from work (of course)  www.craftsulove.co.uk
I have well and truly been won over from Cricut to the Cameo, I love it.

First card for 2013

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christm.....   Oh Valentines Tree......

I received this adorable Pop N cuts in the post yesterday, unfortunately this tree die didn't hit the UK stores in time for Christmas and although I thought it destined for the Christmas drawer for another year Karen Burniston (the designer of the Pop n cuts) said to me she could see it being used with hearts for valentines.  So armed with my new die and my Downton DVDS (oh wow fab series) I snuggled into my shed last night and made this.  I was thrilled with how it turned out, even though it looks like it's been hit by the "pink fairy".

I love to use things a bit differently if it means you can make a seasonal crafting item something you can
use all the time. Wondering what I can do with this next ;)

As people in the States are gearing up for CHA the big trade show in the USA I can't wait to see
what is on its way to the UK in a few months, its an exciting time of the year for crafters :)
