About Me UPDATED 2018

Just a little about me encase you were interested.  I am Caroline (Caz) and I am married to Darren, I suppose you could say childhood sweetheart as we started going out when I was 17 and we've been together for almost 29 years!  He has the patience of a saint to put up with my and all this crafting chaos!

My favourite most important job is being Mum to my Boys, family is everything to me and there is nothing I love more than spending time with them.  Sundays are the best days of the week, they only day I get to spend the whole day with the three most important men in my life!

Here are my boys!

Caiden, he is 11 and such a cutie! [read monster]
An absolute Mummies boys and I love it!
Ginger like his Daddy with big blue eyes.
He loves playing with his X Box, Ark with his brother, Minecraft and other games.  He loves cooking and Maths at school.

Here is Harvey, he is 14 (almost 15).  Again lovely red hair from his Daddy but very dark eyes.  Into everything, he loves Minecraft, X Box games, Ark, COD and all those other teen boy things.  He enjoys computing and Graphics at school.   Hes a typical stroppy teenager but he knows it, and he knows when he's been a grottbag and will apologise.  Hes 14 going on 18 but I am in no hurry for him to get older, infact I would like both the boys to go backwards now :)

We also have lots of pets, DAISY and POPPY the cats.
Love them, they drive me nuts!  They are 14 years old :)

MILO the mad jack russell!  Love him, but hes CRAZY! :)
He is 10 this year but still acts like such a pup.

I spend a lot of time with my Mum, we sadly lost Dad December 2007 and life hasn't been the same since :(  here is a lovely picture of my Mum in Spain last year.  My in-laws live in Spain and whilst its lovely to visit them we miss seeing them regularly and usually only once a year :(

I started stamping about 25 years ago when I got a small star stamp from a magazine.  The rest they say is history.  I started working with stamps at THE CRAFT BARN in LINGFIELD, then went off to do various office jobs.  Then went to teach cardmaking at CRAFT BARN, CREATIVE PASTIMES, THE GLITTER POT and CRAFTS U LOVE.  I also dabbled in a few magazines. Lucky me eh?!

I would describe my style as "cute, colourful, simple and fun".  I ADORE Penny Black stamps, they are my all time favourite and will be forever.  I love die cutting and am currently loving the Karen Burniston Dies from KB Riley, I have been blessed with have worked with Karen on her DT for several years which ended in 2017 as sadly Karen could not carry over all her DT from Elizabeth Crafts.  But I still work with her dies at Crafts U Love where I teach with her designs.  So you can sort of say I am not on the DT but sort of an unofficial teacher of all things KB :)

If you are after masterful colouring or lots of layers then you have come to the wrong place!  I believe my style of cards and creations can be created by everyone.  I have no gifts or artistic merits, simply a love for creating and playing in my Crafty Palace once the boys are in bed.

I work part time (3 part days and Saturdays) at CRAFTS U LOVE in CHARLWOOD, SURREY  the most fantastic shop with the bestest owners and fellow staff members.  I am truly lucky for working there.

I have my lovely CRAFTY PALACE in the garden where I store all my crafty goodies and go to
make my cards and creations

I have just (Dec 2016) found Needle Felting and I am in LOVE with this craft.  I love how a simple needle and fluff can turn into whatever you want it to.  Its very therapeutic and I have been thrilled to find another craft I love
as much as cardmaking, I never ever thought I would say that.

My favourite Felt Suppliers are www.themakerss.co.uk   I love their products, their knowledge and their friendship.

I hope to start classes in 2018, although I did want to start classes last year too, but determined to do it this year.  I feel I have so much crafty love to share and I just LOVE TO SHARE the love for craft.  Its a huge passion.  So watch this space...
