New Penny Black have landed

At www.theglitterpot.co.uk and I had to mosey on down for a look. What a nightmare that was, I was already a little nervous on travelling the very road I span on last week and then we came across a crash that blocked the road, well over a hour later we finally got to The Glitter Pot where Bryan woke up my little bag of stamps, he said they had been resting and waiting for their new owner (sorry Bryan am I letting your secret of "talking to your stamps" out?) LOL Harvey was with me, he was FED UP! big time, he had a headache, was tired hungry and thirsty so we stopped at a petrol station for a drink, calpol and something to eat.

Whislt there, and to prove the New Penny Black wasnt the only reason I was there I picked up some stamps and papers for my class on 14th Feb. If you havent booked yet you need to now! We are going to have a fab time with stamps, papers ect and I might even make you all a little valentine gifty too ;0) Classes are One layer cards and lots of layers cards... sound good eh? So click the link and give them a call I would love to see you there.

Can anyone please help?

USA Sisters? Can you please help me get a Martha Punch? the valentines lace edge one?

Thanks for reading

The Greeting Farm

Its all happening today isnt it?

Formerly known as Pink Poison has landed in the UK at http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ Apparently they are waiting on more as their order has been despatched in a few parcels instead of one. So if its not in stock it may well be coming soon.

Keep looking out for them and if you do order please tell them stampingcaz sent ya!

These are the two that found their way to me, they are BIGGER than I thought! But fantastically so.. nice size for the 6 x 6 cards I make.

What do you want?

I know thats what my hubby will text me with when he opens his lunch. Firstly I dont usually offer to make him lunch, but it was all part of a master plan. I made a small 4 x4 card last night and just wrote a little note for Darren to find when he gets his lunch out. Like most people, there are things we used to do when we were first together that we no longer do, like me writing him little notes, full of waffle really, just saying hello and I love you. So here is the front of his little card ;0)

Very simple, but you are used to that hey? Fluffles from Stampendous giving FREE HUGS, a piece of decorative paper, a white gel pen, a Stampin' Up! punched and shaped flower and a Craftwork Cards candy. I should think all the usual suspects will have this stamp in stock soon if not already. GP, CUL and SSA.
So have you Saleabrated yet???
Saleabration here in the UK is nearly halfway through. Spend £45 with Stampin' Up! UK and choose a FREE set from their flyer (can be viewed at www.stampinup.co.uk)
An Extra special offer from me
An offer for February from me is spend £45 get a free Saleabration set - OK thats the same as everyone else... so how about I offer a 10% discount on the punches that match the Polka Dot Punches set? Thats the 1 1/4" circle Punch, the 5 petal flower punch and the scalloped Circle punch. You dont have to order all three.. but the offer is there ;0) Also included in this offer is the other materials I used to make the book below so you can order the following with 10% off ; that is Bashful Blue Ink Pad, Pumpkin Pie Ink pad, Ruby Red Ink Pad, Old Olive Ink Pad and the Summer Picnic Papers. Choose what you want... or buy them all!
(10% discount only offered on qualifying Saleabration orders, ie orders over £45 and not for orders under this amount)
See how simple this background is to create? 4 colours of inkpads, 3 of the 4 different stamps in the Polka Dot Punches set and you have some bright and funky paper!
Email your orders to stampingcaz@btinternet.com and we can discuss payment options.

Cupcake Tilda

Taken me two days but finally got to make a card with the Alota Cupcake that I got from Crafts U Love.

Sparkles are Diamond Dust also from Crafts U Love and the toppings are made using Bellas Baubles.

Looks nicer in real life as the camera cant quiet pick up the sparkles.

Mondays must not miss it

Do you think people will notice I am late again?? Oh Well, better late than never eh?

Mondays Must not miss it is a lady Erica's Blog http://blogje-van-eer.blogspot.com/
She makes the most beautiful cards, a lot of Magnolia which of course I love and she creates fun little stories for the girls on the cards, I really do love reading them ;0) So pop on over and have a read and meet all the girls.

Update of last nights walk. It was a walk from Reigate Hill carpark to the top of Reigate Hill, through the pitch dark woods, up to the hill to see the view, the stars and most importantly roll down the crater! So we walked, Oh yeah, I didnt tell you did I? I decided I was missing out and just before Darren left ran around for clothes and wellies for me and Caiden and we went along. I am glad I did. It was something that I never would have done, a freaked out if the kids tried but as it was a organised walk and roll and we were told they would be very muddy we let them get on with it and it was a blast! Picture 20+ kids all under 8, so aged between 5 3/4 and 8 walking in the dark, in the woods, with torches, mud and puddles. Then we get to the crater and they are encouraged to roll down the crater on their bottoms, rolly pollys, even Tictac took some sledges too! Fantastic muddy fun! A memory they will treasure and what a fun night and so what if they were covered in mud?! Next week is science week at Beavers and the week after a walk to a local church for bell ringing and exploring. I am so pleased Harvey is going to beavers is fab fun!

BTW I did do some colouring but not make a card last night, took much fun in the mud!

Lost

Every Sunday night I will be Lost in Lost. I watched the special double episodes last night and it was soooo exicting!! LOL I didnt get too lost either. We had warmed our brains to the Lost way earlier in the day when watching a programme which was sort of introducing Lost to new people and giving followers a recap as its been soooo long since Lost was on the screens.

Today was running errands with Mum and then popped into Crafts U Love where I had reserved a Alota Cupcake stamp. Those that blog surf about may have seen this large cupcake stamp used and its a fab one for the Tildas to sit on. They have also got a lot more of the large Alota stamps and the sofa back in stock too. Mum treated me to a 99p stamp too ;0)

No cards to share at the moment. Just made a big dish of Macaroni Cheese for tea and had my lunch. Harvey is out on evening walk with the Beavers tonight. It has been so wet recently I think he will be coming home a bit muddy. Oh and lucky Daddy has been volunteered for this one so he is going for the moonlit walk with all the little beavers!

I hope to ink something up later so please do pop on back.

Going back to my roots & have you seen the phantom Toilet paper thief?

yeah! WHo else is singing? Today I played with one of my first loves, well not in design as this is a new design for 2009, but going back to my first love in Penny Black rubber stamps. Now I cant wait for the new releases, usually I would have seen them by now but they are underwraps well and truely this year.

So this is a cute little Hedgehog which I have teamed up with a selection of fab SU goodies. The background paper is Summer Picnic, the flowers have been made from their punch and shaped, the heart is one of the Saleabration stamps and the sentiment is from one of the fab hostess sets. The silver additions, are, if you needed telling Craftwork Cards candy. I stamped the hearts in 2 shades of pink and one of red and I paper pricked the sides and bottom of the patterened paper.

Just a funny to share!

Bad Evening, Bad Morning, Good Day

Bit of a mix in the last 24 hours. last night I was in a lot of pain for approx 1/2 hour and then it vanished! But it was so bad I was contemplating a trip to A&E. Today I had a class at the Glitter Pot, so I left at 9am.. driving down the road, all of a sudden I hit some ice and WHooooooosh, I span round and was left sitting on the other side of the road, facing the right way so I had done a complete 180 deg turn. Lucky for me there was no cars on the other side and there was a raised verge which I hit and churned up lots of mud, all my pencils and stamps went flying around and I was left very shaken, but unhurt, car OK, so after calling Darren and telling him, I called the GLitter Pot, explained I would be in but I wasnt going to be driving very fast. I was not driving fast when I hit the ice, I wasnt turning a bend or anything so it was really scary and I was so scared driving home tonight. It had warmed a little in teh day so the ice was gone, but it was starting to cool down and was dark so I was very nervous. ANyway I got home ok.... PHEW.

Good day... well that was my classes at the Glitter Pot and I had 13 lovely ladies this morning and 10 this afternoon and here is what I made.

All cards made with Doodlebug Card and Paper from The Glitter Pot, the stamps are all from a cute Penny Black set called "Hugs" from The Glitter Pot again ;0)

Take a seat... this might be a long one

Lots to share today. Cards, family stuff and other bits. SO I think I will start with my stuff about Harvey. As mentioned before Harvey started Beavers and Monday just gone he was invested into the group and here are a couple of photos. He remembered his promise wonderfully!
So here he is saying his promise with "tictac" Jack the beaver leader.

And here he is afterwards with his scalf and woggle! He is so proud to be a Beaver and wanted to wear his scalf and woggle to school yesterday. We are proud of him too! Love you Harvey!

ject I made - very simple and the photos are terrible! But I made this little wallet with Pollycraft Images, cards, envelopes, ribbons and background papers as a small birthday pressie for one of Harveys friends sisters. He was taken as a guest by Ben his friend for his sisters birthday to see Alladin in panto - which he incidentally loved! January is a very hard month money wise so I decided to make a little cardmaking kit.
Yesterday Eloise came up to me with a Thank You card that she had made with the kit and I was thrilled that she had loved it! here is her card.

I had a class yesterday at Crafts U Love and I had to make cards using the 99p Rhonna Farrah stamp from Autumn Leaves and here is what I came up with. I used the triple flowers on the front of the small folded lunch bag, covered with papers... the next picture is the inside... I used a single flower for the inside. All funky colours to match the papers I used. I left the right hand side open and a credit card sized gift card fits perfectly!

We also made the card above using the fancy bird and swirls stamps. We made our own flowers using the 1 1/4" scalloped circle punch.

Lastly here is a Magnolia card I made "just for fun" The main image was from Crafts U Love. The wording and ribbon from Sirstampalot. I coloured her in with my Stampin' Up! ink pads and a waterbrush.
Saturday 7th Feb I have two classes at Crafts U Love with some fun glitter techniques and folds. Pop onto their website www.craftsulove.co.uk to see more info.

Froggie Part two

I made another card with the cute Hero Arts set. This time I am happier with the results, I think it was the colouring medium I used last time. This time I coloured it with my Stampin' Up! ink pads and waterbrush.

Paper is Stampin Up, scalloped edge Stampin Up! Cuttlebug birds and swirls embossing folder used on the COREDINATIONS blue card and then sanded.

Thanks for looking!

Weekend waffle

Happy Saturday to you!

Today I went to Crafts U Love to pick up some stuff I need to prep for my class on Tuesday with. I am taking a class using some of the Autumn Leaves 99p stamps. There really are some bargain stamps out there now. I picked up a cute bird, swirl and two flower stamps to have a look at and think of somethign for the class. I also happened to find a cute stamp set from Hero arts and as much as I shouldnt have got it... ahem.. it followed me home.

So above is the card I made with the cute Hero Arts set. Not entirely happy with card but its OK.

I also made a little bag using my free newtons stamp from Quick Cards Made Easy. I brought this magazine JUST for the stamp!! LOL And then went onto take the stamp off the wood and recut and mounted onto U Mount as it really was a terrible stamp before remounting. It once mounted again stamps lovely and looks cute eh?

Talking Hero, I want to Thank Sir stampalot once again for their fantastic fast service. I got the new Hero Catalogue and two magnolia stamps. The Hero catalogue is FANTASTIC!! there are SOOOOO many wonderful stamps in it and its full of ideas to. STUNNING.

3 Little cards

I made last night with Pocket Silhouettes (SU!) and various other SU papers and accessories.

Again not my style, ie not cute but being a SU demonstrator means I need to think outside of the box and the comfort zone! I LOVE SU products and I love use their punches, papers, card and accessories with all my other stamps and I love their stamp designs, but you all know they arent "me" in their style are they? They take a little more work for me to produce cards with.. but thats OK, its good to challenge yourself and good to make cards for other people who might want a more grown up looking card. The style of a lot of their stamps is ink and stamp! which means quick cards! When I got the new SU catalogue I was instantly excited to see the Pocket Silhouettes set, it makes lovely cards, even for "learners" like me, who are not used to the stamp and thats it, and more use to the stamp, COLOUR technique.

My fav is the bottom one in red, black and brown.
Thanks for the all replies yesterday, I didnt mean for my ditty to sound down about things.. just felt complelled to write it and thats how it came out ;0)

Thursday, January 15

Shall I save it for tomorrow or share today?

Made another card today.. I wonder if I should share

Will it go uncommented... will anyone really care

am I talking to myself.. and otherwise demented

or will people pop on by .. and make me feel contented

I've made another card you see... the style isnt really me..

nothing cute or full of fluff... I am sure by now you've had enough

but I am happy with this card today... a different style a different way

so do you care, do you want to see?... or is the only one listening my Mum and me!

---------------------------------

Making up little ditties is something I got off my lovely ol' Dad. They arent perfect but fun to write.

and here...... DRUMROLL PLEASE is my not "caz styleee" card... Made using just SU products

Simple Sunflowers

I love sunflowers, my favourite flowers. When clearing out those stamps I saw this cute little girl too.. again its a Stampendous Our kids design. Coloured with Promakers and I used some of the scrummy paper and 5 petal punch from SU too.. Very simple card as I have to leave to get Woo now.

Will Smith is on the TV on This Morning, might have to sky Plus that as I do love Will. Have you seen Hancock? I got it for Darren for Christmas and really enjoyed it.. Quiet funny and an original "Super hero" story.

Crafty Comments Image Candy Winner

I love and appreciate your comments and so every so often for my loyal "commentors" I will give you a little candy of some images.... So TINA who is always so mega quick at commenting please email me stampingcaz@btinternet.com with your address and tell me your fav card of the last few weeks and I will stamp you some images from that card.

No card just yet

I havent managed a card for today. I did colour two images last night. Just fighting with the underwear pile and then I will hopefully get to it before I have to pick Caiden up from Pre school.

In the meantime things to drool over.... As you know I have fallen in love with PollyCraft for their downloads and they have put these sneak peeks of a new line called "introducing Sherbert" and these are coming as Stamps! I can not wait for these to come and ask Paula from Pollycraft if she minded me showing these designs off (take off her blog) and she said "of course".

I will keep you posted when I know more ;0) They look adorable though dont they?! Another thing for the list...

If you shake your head from side to side

This card looks ok... if you look at it with a steady head you can see just how wonky it is!! GULP Terrible eh? The images bless them, look lovely, just a shame I couldnt stick or stamp for toffee last night.

Images are Stamping Bella
Words - Stampin' Up!
Other - Cuttlebug folder, SU paper, Craftwork Cards candy
** edited to add for all those wondering about the cottage pie I made a BIG dish approx 10" dish, 4-5" high and Darren and Robert (BIL) ATE THE LOT!! so it might have looked a bit dodgy to start with but it was tastey ;)

Monday, January 12

Scrapling again

Whilst sorting out my stamps to sell I came across this little cutie, she is called Hugging Hearts and she is from Stampendous. Sad thing is I havent inked her up for probably nearly 10 years!! and the sadder thing is is that if you like her you wont be able to get her as she was released long time ago when Stampendous held the licence for "Our Kids" images. Sorry not meaning to tease but I just had the urge to ink her up!

Today I sent a photo of the cottage pie I had made Darren. I dont cook them that often so was proud that I had made it. I sent him the picture of the minced beef in gravy with carots and onions before I put it in the dish with the mashed potato on it and you know what he text back? "Is that sick"... LOL I suppose with the carrots he can be let of... I called him back and said "no its your tea"... heeee heee I wont eat it, I dont like mince but it smelt yummy whilst I was cooking it.

Here is another card I made this weekend. I saw this fantastic tip for people with either the SU USA topnote die (if there are any USA readers out there) or you can use it for the Nesties as well for all is no USAers... SO I will make this ladies blog, My Monday must not miss it blog
http://technostamper.blogspot.com/2009/01/fun-with-top-note-die.html Mary Jo Price-Williams and her fab idea with turning the shape after cutting has made a fab shape.

The stamp is one of the ADORABLE Huggabugs from stampingbella. All the papers are from the very fabby Stampin' Up! (via me if you havent got a demonstrator) The cute heart is from Crafts U Love but I think they might have sold out of these. As are the pins with a pearl on top, but they do (did) still have these in stock. Coloured with pencils and lashings of glitter glue.

A HUGE thank you to all that have brought from me! I am ALMOST there with my target so please do see what is left and if you want it let me know... I added more pictures so you can see how fab the studio sets are.
