Class at Eternal Maker

I am down in Chichester for some classes on Saturday 11th October. See their website www.eternalmaker.com for more info. We will be playing with two of the lovely new Fluffles Christmas stamps, a beautiful Angel, glitter, papers and more so do come along. They have a fab new studio up above the shop. I cant wait to go as I havent been for a while.

Two for you tonight

I have two cards for tonight then I will be most probably unable to make any cards for fun as I have two deadlines to meet before Satuday, well actually 6 cards by Thursday and then prep for two classes for Saturday! Opps!

The second is one of the summer kit tildas, jetty and ice pops.. The fun in the sun wording is from Stampendous and I am sure I dont need to tell you all any longer where the buttons are from!

Rowing Edwin

Edwin has his oar ready and was about to go done to the jetty when he noticed the village fete was on so he stayed there oar in hand to pose for some photos, after all he is the rowing champion of Magnolia village.

All stamps from The Glitter Pot. I adore the bunting, I can see this stamp getting a lot of use.

I have my lovely prismacolor pencils but I still grab my watercolours all the time, guess some habits are easy to stick with.

Summer Dreaming

I adore this cute little Edwin stamp, its a new angle for the Tilda and Edwin stamps but its cute! There is a Tilda and Edwin in this pose, looking out to the distance, what for? Well thats for you to decide in how you make your card. For mine Edwin (or I have re named this one Harvey) is sitting out thinking if he dare go and paddle down by the lake, his mummy has told him not to come home muddy and wet! For now his is gazing at the kite that his Daddy and little brother are playing with.

Edwin and summer background are from The Glitter Pot as is teh Craftwork cards circle. The Flowers were also from The Glitter Pot although they dont at present have this one in stock but have other yumshous (New word?) colours in stock I love the Strawberry and the blue ranges... Hmmmm Flowers (said in my best homer "donut" voice) The Kite was from Sirstampalot. The buttons...... Oh the buttons! The delish buttons are from Eternal Maker.. This is just a smattering of mine! I am addicted to these little beautys and in fear of running out I have a large stock!! LOL I even asked for them to dye me some orange and red ones and they did! All the buttons in the photo are from them, give them a call if you dont see them on their website.

Lenny Lizard

I just downloaded a few photos off my camera I wanted to share with you, some are cards I made yesterday, one is my car that we got a few weeks ago and the other Hmm cant remember, only just did it!! LOL thats my memory for ya!

awww yeah now I remember this is one of the cute lizards we get in our garden. I love them. so cute their little cold feet! Not sure what type they are, were not known for our lizards in the UK!

Ohh there is my bright red car. Its a very sensible Zafira, it drives beautifully. I was a little worried goign from a peagoet 306 to one bigger but everything about is is so nice to drive. When I got back into my old car the other week I thought something was wrong with it, the clutch pedal was so stiff, as was the steering! Nope I had just got used to the red car. so now whoever needs the red car for the kids has it and the other person has the other car. Darren sold his old one for £100, better than we thought! I have plenty of room for crafting stash!! LOL

The next three pictures are of the spinner cards I made yesterday at Eternal Maker. All stamps are Stampendous.

We are going to Bexhill today, its been a manic weekend, yesterdat I was at Chichester I left before 8am and came back about 6.45pm chinese takeaway in hand! there was no way I was cooking last night.

I soooo want to play with my summer and sea stamps and not be out all day! OMG I love this collection! seems you do too... Byran tells me people were ordering BEFORE they uploaded the photos of the stamps... LOL was that you? come on own up! I know one of you left comment thanking me for the scoup!! LOL Its my pleasure to share the stash news with you all, just make sure I get mine first!! Hee Hee Hmm Talking glitter Pot they have a few of the Quick Pick Hydrangeas in stock, a lovely one called stawberry that has the most scrummiest Red, pink yellow and green and a bright blue one that I couldnt resist either. When I win the millions I am going to get a bath of primas, a bath of zoomz and a bath of daisy buttons!! LOL

Eternal Maker

Had a great class at Eternal Maker yesterday in Chichester. Its was along day with my being out the house nearly 11 hours, but it was fun. They have the most wonderful buttons, my favourite of which I have shown you before, the cute little daisy buttons, I used some yesterday and got some more too :) Really annoyed with myself as I forgot to take photos of the projects I made so I havent got anything to show you. :( I could show you my lovely buttons again! LOL



Last night was a bad night, what with boys, the cats and the two "lodger" cats were up to mischief, scratching, running, ect ect then Caiden was rolling around on the bed like he does and then Harvey came in at 5;30 with a Birthday present for Caiden (who is not 2 until June 15th) so there were 4 of us in the bed, with me being squished into the most akward and painful position.! I gave up at 7 and got up as I enjoy some time on my own before anyone gets up, so I had half an hour, I just went up to get them. As I think I mentioned yesterday I am going to pick Mum up from Bexhill. Another day of longish drives, am taking Harvey with my and hopefully Darren can get into the garden and finish the base. The shed people called yesterday and they asked Darren what colour stain we wanted. Hmmm well poor Darren was in a tizz, he was like "well I am only the husband, its for my wife, whatever I choose with be wrong" LOL He did make a choice and I am 99% certain he made the right one. Trying not to think about it too much really as it too late if it wasnt the right choice! But that means its been made and now being treated so it wont be long!! WHOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!

Cute and Cuddly

I had my cute and cuddly classes at Eternal Maker in Chichester yesterday. I was a little worried about the drive there a I havent driven that far before but I did really well, getting there in 1 1/2 and not the antisipated 2 hours. The journey back wasnt as good, well not bad, but it was dark, I was tired, I went a different way home and kept thinking I was lost and the catseyes in the roads were dazzling me and flashing all over really doing me head in!

The classes went well, 6 in the morning, 5 in the afternoon. Everyone did really well and made some lovely cards. I decided on 1 simple stamped card and one with a bit more involved, so we did a basic card, a joy fold and a criss cross. You can see the cards above.

I made them all using the adorable stamps from Stampendous, papers were from Blonde Moments and Basic Grey, ribbon from woodware and lots of glitter glue.

Having a cuppa

So I thought I would blog. Feeling a bit harassed today, not sure why, yes I have got things to do but nothing life or death, but today it feels like a pressure, why.. hormones probably, one of those joyful things of being a woman, not sure I should get hormone problems as I have am implant in my arm.. Oh well.. Just trying to sit here and chill, despite feeling like I want to run and panic! LOL Made the tea, were having braising steak casserole with carrots , mash and peas. YUMMY... so that one thing done.

SO here are the last cards that I made at my demo at Eternal Maker.

All done with either Stampendous stamps and cuttlebug products. I love this frog, hes a cutie and designed by the very talented David Walker. There is a bit of storm on the cricut forum about yet ANOTHER ACmoore exclusive. I love David Walker Designs and I was very upset to hear it was one of his cartridges what was in with the exclusive bundle. Still I will have to wait, until its general release.

Got some stash today, havent had a chance to take a photo, a few new bellas (shhhhhh), Studio G christmas stamps and a cute Missy B designs Frog, Duck and Monkey set... Now I need more ez mount.

The end is near! School holidays that is

I got the iron out today to iron in Harveys school labels. Nothing special you might think, well I had to call hubby to find the iron as I dont use it!! I did find it, in a kitchen cupboard, under some other bits and pieces we dont use. Its like the kitchen "junk" cupboard. LOL People look in disbelief when I say I dont iron, but how they say... well I wash it, either hang it straight up or tumble dry it and we walk around alittle crinkled!

Harvey goes back to school Wednesday, so sign in to see his back to school photo. He will be going back to be a squirrel in the reception class. He will only be going an extra 3/4 hour but I bet for both of us it will be like hours. This is until January when he will be going full time.

Above is another card I made at my Eternal Maker Demo. These bug just look so cute coloured in so many different ways and I really liked this fun red and green version.

To the right is again another card. For this I used the cuttlebug embossing folder, a big one and one of the small sets of 4 ones too. The colours for this one were of course inspired by the paper.

I still can not believe that I went the whole day without using ribbon, and they do have lovely ribbons but I had a lady come as soon as my demo started and I didnt really get the chance to grab any after that.

My day at Eternal Maker

Yesterday I had my first day demo at Eternal Maker in Chichester. First impressions is it's a lovely little shop with lots of charm and charachter. Rustic looking fixures and fittings, upturned wood doors on stands as tables, complete with their handles! Buttons galore in jars bigger than your head adorn the little shelves as pritty decoration. A sprinkle of stamps, inks, papers, bazzill and more join the impressive array of quilting materials and buttons. It is still growing and I am sure for months to come the shop will change each time I visit.

Eternal Maker is a mother and daugher enterprise, Sarah and Anna. Both lovely and eager to please the customers that visit their shop. Anna spent a lot of time popping round to watch my demo, herself admitting she has a lot to learn about some of the papercrafting stuff including stamping.

My demo went well and I managed to tempt a few people to go home with the cute bees from Stampendous. I have some cards to show you. Some I might save for tomorrow so I have something to post for then. I also a have a photo or two to show you these adorable buttons that I fell in love with. Just the right size to go into the centres of the prima flowers, oh so cute!

This cute card was made using the cuttlebug "flower pop" embossing folder, the bee trio stamp from Stampendous, a cuttlebug flower, cuttlebug alphabet and some glitter glue. My camera is playing up. It all looks straight and well within the screen but when I look at the photo afterwards its chopped the top off. Very frustrating.

This card was made using the cuttlebug alphabet, devine swirls embossing folder, and the mega cute dog cutter from cuttlebug. I also found this cute paper in their store and had to find some matching buttons. I like this card, its a different colour scheme than I usually go for but its fun and young.

I really enjoyed making these bee cards in different colours. They are all simple cards, easy to recreate.
