CARD MAKING - Karen Burniston - Tag Card - Birthday Bears

Hello Friends
I am here today with a card I made for my Sister in Law Sue, who's birthday is tomorrow, I know she has opened the card so I thought I would share right away before I forget.

One of my favourite dies at the moment is the Karen Burniston Tag Book Pop Up die set. And you can purchase it at Crafts U Love as it is back in stock but selling like a hot donut! :)  I prefer donuts to pies :)

The card above is Karen Burniston's beautiful packing sample.
Just look at all that happy in one card!

Here below is the card I made using the MFT Bitty Bears to decorate the pages. I really wanted to add more but time got the better of me.  This was my first card since before Christmas.  But I am still pleased how it turned out.  But if I did it again I might add a few more touches.  Maybe some stamped stitching on the front.  And a bear on the left hand panel inside.

Sorry the photos aren't great, its so dull in the mornings here at the moment and it doesn't make for good pictures.

Here is where the party is going on... inside with a pop of red, kraft and a smattering of green.  My bunting stamp from Skull & Crossbuns is always a welcome addition to add fun to any spaces.

I have a very fun, sunny, bright Tag Card for my first class at Crafts U Love
on 17th February.  I am thrilled this class sold out in 3 days!  And we've decided to run another date for this class which is Saturday 3rd March

Call to book on the new date or watch out online for when its added over the next few days.  I look forward to seeing you there

The design of the card will be spring flowers and colourful.

NEEDLE FELTING - Ferdinand - Fox - The Makerss Monthly Kit Jan 2018

My first crafting this year was some Needle Felting.  I have found the whole being signed off work really hard.  I have felt guilty about being off and guilty about not earning money and it had a massive effect on my mojo.  Silly I know, but it has been hard.  So this past Saturday when Darren was fixing my car I decided to tell myself off and say "Don't be so silly, make something".  But what to make?

I had just before op had my Monthly Makers Kit delivered and decided Mr Fox would be my crafty cheer up.

Ferdinand was born on Saturday 20th Jan made
Fluff, Needle, Pipe cleaners & a whole lotta love.

Today I have started the badger from the kit.  Above you can see
the basics of what I used to make the Fox and Badger.

You can purchase the kit from
and Pssst!  CAZ10 is good for 10% off your order!

Please Note : I am not affliated with The Makers, I do not get
anything for passing you onto them, just sharing
the needlefelted love :)

I will be back with the badger next, name to be decided once hes finished.

Until next time

WAFFLE : Blog Tidy

I'm on my last couple of "sick" days after my Appendix surgery and I thought my blog has been a lot neglected lately, OK for ages!  So I thought that I would update the About Me Tag with correct ages and new photos and new blurb.  So if you are needing a good bedtime story to send you to sleep, have a look :)

Also thought well this blog is about what I love, at the moment I am sharing my love of crafts between Card making and Felt and I will be posting both to this one blog.  Maybe I need a rename?   Hmmm something to ponder.  I do run Facebook pages, Stamping Caz Designs so I could probably encompass all crafts under that name.  Besides, apart from Jo (Hi jo Bluefairy) I have such little interaction I am not actually sure anyone is reading this?!   :)

For those that subscribe, I will entitle my blog posts accordingly.  So if its Waffle, Needle Felt, Classes, or Card Making (or other if I think at a later date) I will label the post title so you can choose if you want to read or delete.

Talking Classes I am waiting for Crafts U Love to publish their list, I have given them many ideas so just waiting to see.

Also for local friends I am really really seriously thinking of local classes. Papercraft and Needle Felting.  So watch this space.

Enough waffle for now, I am just about to post a Needle Felting Post to show of my first make of 2018.

New Karen Burniston Dies

Hi Friends, sorry its been a while, I sadly missed a couple of the Paper Pros challenges due to illness. Its safe to say its been a poopy last few months with a short stay in hospital the end of October, A terrible cold from 27th December which has only really just finally gone and Appendicitis to finish it off!  I've not felt much up to crafting, in actual fact I have not even stepped foot in my palace since before Christmas.

I have however been looking at what is coming out, dreaming about all the stuff I want to buy! and this Karen Burniston 2018 release has certainly risen my interest in dusting off my big shot.

These are on pre order at Crafts U Love HERE and they have
  FABULOUS PRE ORDER DISCOUNT

You can see here introduction video

I am hoping to run classes on lots of these dies
at Crafts U Love.  I am just waiting for info from them as to which ones they want to run as I pretty much suggested them all!

I am still needle felting too and am loving my monthly dose from The Makerss and their monthly boxes.  This month is a fabulous Fox and Badger, these kits are totally doable for beginners, step by step photography and they are always available via Facebook group to advise if you get stuck.  The boxes are £17 a month £3 P&P, but Pssttt  I may have a little code... try Caz10 I think it will still work for orders.

Here is the link

This is the photo from their website

Next Month they have a 2d picture box.  I am very excited about that :)
BTW I am not affiliated with them, just a fan who is sharing the fluffy love!
