Elzybells Round up

Now my Elzybells Guest Designer time is over I thought I would go into a more indepth round up of the cards I made for it to include a few of the other stamps and paper names.

This little cutie is my fav Elzybells Girl, or was before the sunflower and strawberry ones and not I am not sure!! LOL Can I have 3 favs? For this card I used 3 little candy dots from Craftwork Cards and the very lovely Seeing Spots set from Stampin' Up! - this set is great for making your own backgrounds. This card is as simple as can be, but looks lovely non the less.

Aww what a cute puppy! I had to choose this stamp to use too. Very simply coloured with watercolour crayons and cut with the circle and scallop nesties. I then created a lovely little orange flower to mount my wording on. This was made with the circle scallop punch from Stampin' Up! and teamed with a Craftwork Cards word circle. The scrummy paper is from the Haiki Collection from Stampin'Up! I love how the style of punched flower matched the flower on the paper - wanna see how to make this one? I have a circle scallop tutorial on my other site you can see all the wonderful things you can make with this simple shape.

This card was teamed up with some lovely cherry paper from the Summer Picnic papers set. Scallop Edge punch and small daisy.

This soft dreamy card was matching the dreamy state the cat was in! LOL Again I used the seeing spots stamp set to make a lovely background paper. This set is my offer for August so please check out my other site (link above)

This was the last creation for the Elzybells Guest Design Spot - Haiki paper was again used to decorate the front of this book. The very fabby and easy I-top tool was used to make the flower brad.

Sprinklings of Christmas and Easter too

I have been working on easter projects and now they are done I can get on with Christmas. Bit of a weird way to do it but the Easter projects are for a magazine deadline and the Christmas cards are me making a late start on my cards. Opps!

So today I made the card I needed the quickest and that is a card for Darrens parents who leave very early tomorrow morning. After that I need to decorate a book for Harveys teacher. Then its back to regular cards for close family and friends.

This card was made using Elzybells Cracker Mouse stamp, this was old Elzybells before resizing so not sure if this one is actually available or if its the same size.
I coloured with promarkers and then used versamark, heat and stick and dazzling diamonds. (as per video a few posts back)

I LOVE the flowers, they are from Craftwork cards and the sentiment is Stampin' Up!

A card!! Don't all leave I made a card!

Seems you cant please everyone, you would think at my age I would realise that already but it is still a lesson to learn. My chatter has put a few people off my blog, Oh well, such is life. If I cant use my blog how I want to then whats the point? You know I chat to my blog like I chat to all my friends, sometimes its interesting, sometimes its not, sometimes I am happy, mostly I might add and other times I am less than happy. Anyway my boys slept a good sleep, but I was worried they would wake so I didnt stamp. However since they both woke and were watching Nick Jr I whizzed upstairs "like super woman" and made this simple card.

This is for all the other super women out there and for all those that want to stay and listen to my c**p sometimes :) I think as a race, all us women are super at times. Most mums are super all the time. Who else would wipe more bottoms than we choose to each day, scoup up cat sick from the pavement (yes that was me this morning YUCK) all the while planning the teas for the week (and I WASNT inspired by the sick LOL) fold the laundry, ect ect ect
HUGS TO THE SUPER WOMEN OUT THERE! May your bottom wipes be few, cat sick be non exhistent and your days wonderful..... Oh yeah da Caz is back! this is the one you know and love isnt it?? MAWH!
About the card : Stamp Da Bella who else?? Flower stamp Elzybells, White ink, Black ink, watercolour pencils, aqua brush, glitter glue, Doodlebug Jewel, Prima Flower, ribbon

Sunny Thursday

After two days of rain today looks like a better day. I am going to see my friend Corinne and her son Ben who is the same age as Harvey. So thats going to be fun. Corinne is also a crafter so I always take a few things to show her what I have been up to! I will be there a few hours, will have to get back here at some stage for Caidens nap.

So here are a few more cards from yesterday photo session. They are both fabo designs from

Elzybells. I miss dealing with her and seeing her fabby designs but I think she is working on her website and I am sure it will be worth the wait. These girlies have been teamed up with fun doodlebug papers.

These two are also elzybells. I thought we would have an elzybells day today. So dust off those images and get making a card with them...

Some Crayon resist cards

I was looking upstairs and found a big bag of cards. Most of which have been returned from the magazines, but I was thinking a lot of people wouldnt have seen them so I would take a few photos and share them with you.

I made these cards for Quick Cards Made Easy using the Crayon Resist technique. I was really pleased with them and they didnt publish them! Bit annoying after making them sending them and not getting a bean for them and getting them sent back! I used Elyzbells flowers and leaves for these two cards and the wording is Penny Black. This technique is really easy and creates stunning results for some quick cards.

Here are two more from the same project comission. Again, they werent used :( Elzybells flowers used on the purple card and Penny Black butterflys used for the green card.

Sharing some older cards

I received some cards back from Origin publishing so I thought I would share a few cards each day. I have so little time for stamping just for fun so I struggle to share cards and creations on here as most of the stuff I do is prep for classes or magazine work and I always feel bad that people have signed onto my blog to see cards and creations and all I can do is talk about it!! LOL

The First one is made using one of the wonderful cute Francoise Read cats from one of her clear sets. You can purchase this set from www.theglitterpot.co.uk if you are here in the UK and please tell them you was inspired by Caz!

Prima flowers were used to decorate card. Image was coloured with watercolour pencil. I made the matching tag using the Tag Maker. A cute but simple card and tag :)

This Wedding card was made using the triangle cards from Woodware (also at Glitter Pot) and the fantastic Elzybells wooden stamp. Elzybells can be viewed at www.elzybells.co.uk I decorated the edge with white liquid pearls (also Glitter Pot) and a silver "congratulations" peel off.

This card was made for Harveys third birthday, WOW that seems sooooo long ago now.

I used the woodware clear set, again from Francoise Read (GP) and some peel offs for the lettering. I was really pleased with this card when I made it.

I hope that you have enjoyed looking at these cards :) As much as I enjoyed making them many months ago!
