Allsorts Challenge - Purple Passion week 172

Really getting in a roll with these challenges.  Fab way to get some crafting started :)

This one is for the Allsorts challenge blog  HERE

Here I have used an older Penny Black stamp and lots of purple as the challenge required.  Now purple is my least used colour but it was nice to dust off this old Doodlebug paper it is YEARS old.

I used the Nellie's Double Fold Dies from Crafts U Love for the butterfly, Devine Swilrs Embossing Folder and Lorelai Leaves from Poppy stamps

I hope you are enjoying a bit more action from me?

Mousey christmas

I made this card a few weeks ago but I never shared it anywhere so I thought that it would be perfect for the Cute Card Thursday Christmas in September Challenge

I used the very lovely Penny Black stamp set called Mouse Deco and you can get it from Crafts U Love

Enjoying finding some challenges I am always on the look out for more blogs.... do you know if there are any die cut challenge blogs??  Or others that will suit my cards and style of stamps I like?  let me know!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

I've decided to play along with some challenges to avoid the times I go out to my shed and just sit there over whelmed with "stuff" so of course I had to play along with the Penny Black Saturdays challenge.  Septembers challenge is  "Buttons and Bows" and here I have used a lovely Penny Black image together with some buttons and some twine tied in a bow.

HERE is the link to the September challenge post

I hope to play along every month :)

Little birds

I loved this set as soon as I saw it and I saw the potential for these little Woodware Robins to become just cute little birds too.

Here is todays Create and take at Crafts U Love using the birds as regular birds.  And another card following using the birds as robins.

Also used : Echo Park Papers, Woodware wording, Die-namics fishtail bunting and flourish.

Also used : Memory Box frostyville Wreath, Bazzill Papers

Rushing off to work now.  Busy weekend so not much crafting time :(

My first love....stamping

I've been a little confused of late, loving die cutting and especially Sizzix right now but of course my first love will ALWAYS be stamping and ALWAYS be Penny Black.  I love their designs, Margaret Sherry designs being my absolute favourite.  Last night whilst watching the closing for paralympics last night and I happened to grab one of my newest stamps and make this little card.

Simple's, you know me, not one for complicated!

Wasn't the closing show amazing??  I LOVE Coldplay so for me it was :)

Pop n Cuts - Clown Birthday

Today I have a pop n cuts card to share.  I haven't had the time to make one for a while, just not enough hours in the day to play with all I have to play with but when I needed a card for one for Caidens friends I
thought this was perfect.

I have used the fantastic Pop n Cuts system to make this central pop up and gone made decorating inside with punches, stamps including this cute clown from Penny Black and the wording from Woodware.

Squirrel Fun

I made this squirrel in these colours before we went and had a fun day at the British Wildlife Trust and their beautiful Red Squirrels.

This is made using the Sizzix Happi Squirrel with Flower die (crafts U Love IN STOCK), Hero Arts Newsprint stamp (Order from CUL) and the Memory Box Spring border (Crafts U Love IN STOCK)

This is a large die and is on a 8 x 8 card base to make a lovely large card.

And here are a few pictures from our day out last week.

We had a lovely time.  My kids love animals so really enjoyed getting to see so many wonderful British animals.  The centre is only opened during school holidays and they run talks every 1/2 hour which includes them feeding the animals so in tern means the animals are very close to see.

Crafty Palace Storage finds

As most of you know storage and crafting seem to run hand in hand.  Some people have purpose built studios with spaces made for items they need, I am more of an shopper buy accident and I happen to stumble across items that in turn end up fab storage.  here are my two latest finds.

These were 2 a tenner from a local Facebook group.  Now I didn't know what would fit in them but I thought with all those little "shelves" they would be perfect for something and as it happens they fit my Bigz dies very well.  So my goal one day will be to have both side full up!

Again from a local Facebook sale, again no clue what I would use it for but happens to be fabulous for my misc punches.  Large Woodware ones on the bottom, Medium size in the middle and lots of misc punches at the top. PERFECT!  In someways I do wish I had a purpose built shed with a place for everything but then in other ways this reflects the real me, I am not a tidy tidy person, I like "stuff".  I like to see other "stuff" and nothing drives me more nuts than trying to find something so if its all kinda out, then it makes it easier :)

Now it is getting to the point when I will have no more room, but until then I will continue looking out these crafty storage finds and seeing just how well they can slot into my palace :)  Now if only I would be able to find a space for my BIG SHOT PRO, it currently lives on the floor as I dont have the dedicated table space to be able to leave him out :(
