Long time since I have been regularly updating blog. As you know I have been preparing for the launch of the SU catalogue. My launch party was fantastic and I want to thank everyone for coming. I hope you all enjoyed it! I am already planning my next "do" for early next year with a demo day in conjunction with the promotion that SU releases in the new year.

Mermaid Emma

I have teamed Emma up with some fun fish from Stampin' Up! mini catalogue. I have also made my own seaweed from a plastic bag and promarkers. you cant see the shine on her, she has pearly pearls in her hair. The whole card I feel looks nice in real life.

Morning all - another one for the boys

I did a z fold card, with the card reversed from the "normal" way I do them.

Totally rad right? LOL

OK today we have to get Caidens pressie for his Birthday on Monday. We are getting him a wooden sandpit so he can sit in it and dig and play farm to his hearts delight. I need Darren to get it for me as the sand is 20k a bag! and we need 5-6 bags and the sandbox itself is quiet heavy. Then Harvey has been invited to a party, intially I said he couldnt go, with his arm... but he seems so totally normal now I would feel so mean. So he is going and he will promise me to just take a bit more care!

One before I leave

We are going to Isle of Wight tomorrow for 4 nights. Should be fun. Lots of frantic packing with enough clothes for 3 weeks!! LOL






So I have been quiet again this week getting a magazine thing done and sent and sorting out all loose ends. I had to make this card for Adam, one of Harveys friends. Its been a busy day with Harvey going to Adams bowling party, shopping for dog food (BIL is thankfully here to look after all the animals) . Lots of washing too, with quilt and quilt cover included as Caiden has a cold and was coughing so much last night he was sick all over the bed! its been 2 weeks of sick kids, I hoped we were past it. Now I have a sore throat, so guess I have got what they have.

I used the pirate from the pirate Anya set - http://www.diestodiefor.com/ a woodware punch for the jungle leaves, Magnolia Palm tree island from http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/ and coloured with Promarkers.

I hope you all have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend and school holiday. I dont expect to be online until Friday as we havent got a computer with us.

A long time ago....

I made a card.. Well it feels like a long time since I made a card, so today I made another.

Saturday again

How times flies soooo quickly. Today I am in Nutfield for Chicken Shack meeting, there will be a fair few missing from normal as Worthing show is on and I know a few people are going there but we will still have lots of fun I am sure. I have designed my make and take for this and hope they enjoy it.

Here is a card I made with a wonderful new Anya that will be coming really really soon to a wonderful store called Dies to Die for... there are lots of goodies coming soon there so keep stalking the website! Tracy the owner offers the most fabulous service and you always get your goodies as quickly as humanly possible. I love this stamp, moreso as it was a gift!! xxxx

Anyone seen my eyelashes??

Anyone?? I am sure I went out with some... well I have got some, its just they are shorter than they were!! LOL

Beavers was fantastic. We have a great leader who thinks of fun things for the beavers and also has a fab house and garden. OMG I would die to have a garden the size of his! Much of it is woodland down the bottom and thats where we took the beavers to in pairs with one adult per pair to make their own camp fires. They made a fire and then went up to the chickens to bring back an egg. We then Keeo and I (Rusty) fried the eggs on a large pan on a large fire. Well my eyes were streaming, my legs felt alite, so Jayne did most of the cooking and I stood there with bread for the fried eggs. Then the kids had marshmellows on sticks and dampers on sticks. For anyone like me who didnt know its a bready type dough that is wound around the stick and cooked over the fire, I had the jam to spread onto their dampers when done. I am sure the kids enjoyed themselves no end. We all came back stinking of bonfires! And as I said firstly my eyelashes are somewhat shorter!!

Prep for class has been done. Just need to get more cards done for the magazine projects.

Here is the card I made for Harveys friend. Ian stamp is from Diestodiefor.com The candle is actually an old hero shadow stamp and I stamped the main candle. Then I cleaned the stamp and drew on the flame shape onto the rubber and stamped that out. Decorated with some of the little patterns that came with the Exclusive Daisy and friends set that The Glitter Pot have.

A few cards

Here are a couple of cards, one from today. The others from the SU training I went to Friday. Oh and my swap card I made for said meeting.

The first one is made with Geisha Anya, isnt she lovely? There seems to be a lot of Geisha/Japanese dolls about at the moment. I am not keen on many of them, but Geisha Anya is an exception. I got her from www.diestodiefor.co.uk she is a greetings farm stamp. The paper is Stampin' Up! the flowers and punch are SU too.

These cards were made for my swap at the meeting. I used the Fresh Cuts stamps from the Mini Catalogue. I had to make 20 so I needed simple ;0)

And last but not least, its not all learning and slideshows at these training sessions!! We have fun too and we made these 3 cute cards. I am going to design a card simular to this one for a video tutorial really soon. Unfortunately wont be tomorrow as I have Beavers tomorrow night.

Right I had an appointment with Lost and then Edward Cullen ;0)

Sweet Bunny

This cute bunny is from The Greetings Farm via Dies to die for (see link on right) I coloured it with my promarkers, mounted on scallop circle and then onto SU paper, added a little card candy and tulle to finish. A very cute little card. This bunny is from a set. So adorable I dont want to send the set back!! LOL

Harveys Birthday

He had a lovely day, in his words "the best birthday on the planet" ;0) what more can you ask for eh? Here he is on his pressie from Nanny - its actually for both Harvey and Caiden and Christmas too!! This was 8-15am yesterday in his jammies! Not much garden left but hey, what are gardens for it they are aren't for kids and craft sheds?

I havent been creative much, been too much punishing myself for my stupudity and feeling why should I be happy as I dont deserve it, but thats not really the right way to think is it? So I need to buck my ideas up and make myself happy again. And it the words of Forrest Gump "thats all I have to say about that". I do love Forrest quotes and for a "stupid" man he was very wise ;0)

I remembered Saturday night I had better make Harvey a card so here is what I made.

I used images from High Hopes - from a friend Johanna - I hadnt got any of these stamps and she kindly sent me some. You can get High Hopes from www.diestodiefor.co.uk tell them Stampingcaz sent ya!

Craftwork Cards circle in yummy brown and the card candy too. I didnt have any number 6 or anything so I thought I would use one candy for each year! - coloured with pencils Paper is Stampin' Up!

Saturdays class at Crafts U Love was Forever Friends and I had to design a wedding, christening, birthday and Baby card - bit of a challenge as I dont go Wedding and Christening cards well, but they turned out ok!

Sale-a-bration is over and I am so pleased I tempted some of you to get the very lovely Polka Dot Punches set - you will love it!! One I will continue to use for personal stamping fun now.

Last and by no means least I was so so happy to have received an email yesterday from Dulcie from www.wildrosestudio.co.uk to say that I had been accepted into their Design Team and I cant wait to get some cards made with the cute cats I have here at home really soon. I did stamp a cat last night but that was as far as I got!! LOL

So here is another card for today. CC Designs again from http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ this is very sweet and look, the bear is eating my fav flavour, Mint Choc Chip!

I love these little chaps! I love the monkeys big Ol' Monkey ears! There are a few phrases to go with these little lovelies but they just didnt look right on the card so I left them off.

I coloured these in the other night so I am quiet pleased with how they look as I have a pink light in my bedroom so its always a surprise if I pick the right colours!

The papers and Doodlebug and from Dies to Die for and the flower is on I made with the Stampin' Up! scallop punch.

But I wanted to share this card with you that I made last night. I used the CC designs set from http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ and Doodlebug paper also from Dies to Die for. This is an ADORABLE set!! With the cold outside I wanted to share something to give us a warm and fuzzy feeling!!

Two for you tonight

I have two cards for tonight then I will be most probably unable to make any cards for fun as I have two deadlines to meet before Satuday, well actually 6 cards by Thursday and then prep for two classes for Saturday! Opps!

Enjoy Life

I am doing as this stamp says and enjoying life. Am here in the sun in Spain with my Hubby, kids, Mum and in Laws. They had a good splash in the pool and it was FREEZING! I went in up to my knees. Maybe tomorrow?

I have made 4 cards so far. Its fun as its kinda of like a limited supplies challenge as I only brought a few bits.
