Always there....

Summer days out
playing in the garden
bar be cues
you were always there

childhood memories
fun and tears
all those years
you were always there

growing up
moving home
building family
you were always there

decorating help
moving vans
grandkids arriving
you were always there

Christmas coming
excitement growing
depths of sorrow
you was not there

new year
new pains
so many memories
you are not there

new days
new adventures
new memories
you ARE ALWAYS THERE.... in our Hearts

Pro Marker table

I typed a table today and thought I would share, it includes all the regular colours of the promarkers and space to scribble them. I didnt include black or blender.

New Ink Pad... Memento

Another ink pad to hit the market. Not another one you all groan... well I got this one as I heard it was fantastic with the Pro Markers, no matter what ink I had been using it smudged when colouring, well this little baby didnt one bit! It cleans off your stamps very easily, infact I just licked my finger and wiped the stamp (well, the wipes were over the other side of the room you know how it is) LOL

Here is what the makers say...

Memento™ dye ink is fast drying and fade resistant. The innovative pad
delivers finer impressions and exceptionally even coverage. Available in 24
wonderfully fresh colors.

Here is what I coloured with them. Cute Dragon fron Lili of the Valley - The Glitter Pot. Memento ink from www.charmedcardsandcrafts.co.uk

So here are the cards I made... Most of the papers are from a Dovecraft paper pack. These are fantastic value for money in different sizes and patterns.

Buggy good time

I've have a buggy good time with these sweeties today ;0) Caiden napping, Harvey watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and mummy playing, OH what fun! And I think I "invented" a cute little card... probably not, but I made it up from playing and I dont know what its called so I will call it the Triangle Stage card because the bug is sitting in its own "little stage" which of course as the name implies is a triangle shape! It's hardly brain surgery.. but I thought it was something a little different. The bug is literally just poked inside so there isnt any mechanics, you'd need to send it flat and just instruction receiver to poke the picture into the slits either side.

This is just a plain ol' 6 x 6 square card - both cards coloured with Promarkers. I love the clean and simple look for these bug stamps. Bugs from Crafts U Love.

Tomorrow I am demoing at The Glitter Pot in Scaynes Hill, Nr Haywards Heath, getting in the Christmas spirit with a Penny Black Christmas demo... should be fun! Come along and say Hi, I think I'll probably knock up a Triangle Stage cards tomorrow.

Alota Bugs... and more bugs

Seems there are bugs about! and not just the cute little rubbery kind. ;0) Harvey has been complaining of tummy pains all afternoon, Darren said he has been feeling dizzy and Caiden has just been given the all clear from the doctors after being very wingey and pulling his ears, she said they looked fine, but has given him some cream for a rash he has in a place a little boy doesnt want a rash and yes I tried all sorts of nappy creams and non worked.

Anyway, back to the cute bugs, not the icky ones. Crafts U Love got these ADORABLE stamps in, of course they were chanting my name and wouldnt stop until I promised them sanctury in my Palace along with their Alota cowboy chums and the country girls.

How cute is she???

This is part of a set of 7 bugs, 9 phrases on self cling cushion all for £19.99 thats pritty amazing too!! SO if I have tempted you some... order them today, I got a feeling they will be flying off to new homes quiet quickly.. tell them Caz sent ya!! And Paula if you are ready this MORE Alota please!!!

I coloured the image with my PROMARKERS - these are from sillymonkeycrafts.co.uk and she has a 10% sale on all weekend!! on EVERYTHING.

Special Brother DT Spiral Whisper Stamps

I have had a delivery of Spiral Whisper stamps for a while, just very scarce on time.. anyway I have made a few today, two are for a DT sketch this one was just because.. Too cute isnt he? Something that I am sure Harvey would make for his little brother on his birthday. I love the bright primary colours, it gives it a "young" feel.

Thanks for looking! and BIG thanks to my regular commentors, its lovely to see you on my blog almost everyday and to know some one is reading and liking what I do ;0)

What a hoot!

I had my candle and box class at Crafts U Love yesterday and we decorated a candle and box with the cute Hero Arts Owls set. As the candle was taller I had to make a different container for it, so I decided to make a bag/box. Turned out cute.

Paper added to candle to decorate and this would be removed BEFORE lighting!

Classes are always fun there and whats even better is that you get 10% off everything used in the class if you purchase that day so its worth coming along to get discount off items and of course have a fun time with crafters and learn something too.

** edited to add I found out today who the lady is who is believed to have created this fantastic box in a bag project. Now I have changed the sizing and added a little extra folded bit at the top. But it was a very clever lady called Diana Gibbs who brought this fab thing to blogland! Thanks Diana... Wanted to give credit to her as usually you never find out who "invented" these things.

Kraftin with Kimmie and Caz

When I saw Kimmie from http://kraftinkimmieskorner.blogspot.com/ got her new Magnolia stamps I messaged her to see if we could do a challenge. Now we kept it quiet simple in that we just said we would both use the Tilda with Chalkboard. I am SURE Kimmie will have done something much more elaborate and this but this is my attempt.

I have created my own big chalkboard using some black Lasting Impressions paper and some brown card. Stamped with a sentiment from Printworks with white Staz On. Simple eh? Harvey seemed to know what it was all about and said "Mummy this one looks like school" funny how he could pick up that.

Now I am scared to see what masterpiece Kimmie has done!! LOL She always does beautiful cards and I really dont know where she finds the time for it. She is also very lucky in the fab selection of Design Teams she is on.

I forgot to say I got the Girl stamp from Here and I got the apple from Here

I have a class tomorrow night at Crafts U Love, come along if you are at a loose end, there are still some spaces. Check out their site for details of the class and booking info.

Eastbourne Airshow

We all went to the airshow yesterday. Mum and Milo too. Had a lovely day. Amazing how tiring sitting on beach can be! Mind you I did go up to the rubbish bin twice or three times and to the ice cream place once so its no wonder my legs are feeling a little bit "used" today.

Instead of boring you with loads of photos I just made this little collage, showing us all and a couple of the show bits. WOW the red arrows are AMAZING!! I love the chinnoock (I know its spelt wrong) helicopter and also the jet near to the end made you body shake it was so loud! Caiden didnt like it, I LOVED it. Milo was unphased. Funny I said to Darren I dont think there is a box in his puppy socialisation page for "jet fighters, red arrows and helicopters"!! but he did good.

Mostly sweet with a few nuts!

Ha ha Made this card for my Brother David, its his birthday tomorrow. We went round for a family bar be cue. I will email more about it tomorrow, got am early start as we are going to Eastbourne tomorrow to watch the airshow.

Anyway, I wanted to wish my brother a Happy Birthday! Want to send him all my love too. We dont do "I love you's" but I know we do... Kinda like I knew my Dad did too. Its a weird year of firsts and I am sure we all had moments of reflection tonight thinking of my Dad being missing.

So here is his Card and a photo of us two together as I am sure I dont have one apart from when we were kids.

On your travels?

This little Tilda looks set for the road, she doesnt look happy to be dressed up but her mum said she has too look her best!

I coloured her with my Pro markers teamed her up with some pritty papers. The arrow stamp is from Autumn Leaves, wording circle is Craftwork Cards. The stamps came from here

Christmas is coming...

All the stores are starting to get their Christmas stocks in and I myself had to go out and get some Christmas papers last week for a magazine comission, I should be saying "crazy in this summer weather" but it has been more autumnal than summery. Today its very sunny but chilly and I am sitting here with my jacket on. Back door open so Milo can hop in and out (we need a dog flap) The rabbit and guinea pigs are happy to be able to run about a bit today as its not raining.

The Glitter Pot look like they have their scrummy delivery of Hero Arts in... Ohhh there are some mega cute ones in... I dont know what I will choose for my Christmas cards this year.. Do you? Started already?

Need to make my brother a card tonight, its his birthday soon... goody a chance and excuse to stamp!

Right I think I have given out all my shoppers announcements today.. you do love me dont ya? I mean who wants that money burning holes in your pockets? Not me thats for sure... Tee Hee

Magnolia Fans

Well I have been looking all week at the Magnolia site ready to place my order for the Heavenly, School and travel collection and they seem to have a problem with their UK site. Boo Hoo! HOWEVER! Sirstampalot have them all in stock now! So run run as fast as you can before I get there!!

Dont think I shared these did I?

These are cards I made a few weeks ago for my classes at The Glitter Pot

It was cards for Boys & Girls

For the girls I used the ADORABLE summer and sea Magnolia stamps - tilda in grass skirt, lanterns and the flowers and leaves. I made the orange one in preperation at home and re made the pink one on the class. For the second card we made a cutie patotie Rachelle card.. Too cute!

For the Boys we used the Edwin with guitar for a slightly older boy, and the younger boys we made the fun frogs from Penny Black. Teamed up with Doodlebug papers you cant go wrong and I wanted to stear away from "blue" so I went green and brown.
All items available from The Glitter Pot

Yeee Haw!

I love these little cowboys from Alota stamps and I got three more of these cuties at the weekend, couldnt resist! I got them from Crafts U Love. Also whilst there Geoff gave me some of these cute little bags to "see what I could do with them". Have a few things in mind and this is one of them. Ultra simple idea, cover the front and back with designer paper and decorate to make adorable gift bags... apparently these are a "very good price" so check out their website to see if they are on there and get decorating!

Harvey thinks the bag is for him bless him I will have to make one now wont I?

What I used :
Stamps Alota - Crafts U Love
Papers SEI cant remember where I got them... maybe CUL too
Punch - had it for YEARS!
Large Eyelets - Stampin' Up!
Coloured with Promarkers - Silly Monkey Crafts
Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie cardstock - Stampin' Up!

Walkies!

Milo went out to the local park last night when Darren got home from work and we all went. We are very lucky to live 2 minutes (or less) from this park and Milo met his first doggie friends, a lady with a Jack Russell called "Jack" he was 5 and Harvey had a good time playing fetch with him. Jack was really sweet and fine with Milo. There was another dog called "poppy" who wasnt too happy with Puppies her owner said so we tried to keep Milo from annoying her.

Here are couple of photos....

and after the walk!!
Julie Milos first Mum and her boys look at my blog to see how he is getting on ;0) Its nice they can still catch up on his antics..
As for cards, well I will be trying to make something today. I have have deadline after deadline with magazine work, prep for classes and my stamp camp so I am taking a little break, well just too tired at the moment to feel inspired! but I miss creating so I will start off by playing some more with my new promarker colours and my newest stamps... watch this space.

Today Milo is allowed out YIPEEE I am waiting for Darren so we can all go on the first walk together... how sad is that? Darren took some cute photos of Milo at the weekend. Milo likes it down by the guinea pigs and rabbit. He did bark the first day but now he just wags his tail when he goes to see them. Of course I wouldnt let him get in with them! LOL

I made two cards for my class today but I forgot to take a photo of one of them... anyway here is one... its Basic Gray paper to make a "mans" card. No cute stamps on this one, although I really did like the Hero Arts background stamp I used.

I will try and get the other card off Crafts U Love website ;0)

Introducing!

Milo!

Milo is a 10 week old Jack Russell. He came to us today from a lovely home nearby. His heartbroken family had to unfortunately let him go and we were blessed to get him. He is lovely, fun, cheeky, sweet, licky, chewy and sleepy all rolled into one very cute little dog. Can I say I love him already? Well I do!!

We had to re name him, you see his last family called him Harvie and as you know I have a Harvey and it would have been all too confusing so we thought maybe Harry, but thought he's only known Harvie for maybe two weeks so a new family new name and Milo was named.

Owl Fun

I got this gorgeous new Rachelle design from The Glitter Pot when I was there Saturday.. too cute! They have all the new Rachelle designs and it was hard work choosing just two. Still not sure I picked the right second one and I may well be begging an exchange for the other one!! LOL

I stamped the image and coloured with pencils and h20's. I used distress inks to dirty up the edges. The black words are from Craftwork cards and these can be brought from Craftwork cards or Glitter Pot. The paper, not sure where I got it, I think its crate paper. I stamped the aper and the image with the beautiful swirly stamp that I got from Sir Stampalot, its a magnolia one.

Stamp meetings

If you live nearby to Redhill in Surrey there is a craft club that used to be the one I ran called "Chicken Shack Crafts" Now when I gave it up I was so pleased that the ladies continued to meet. Now numbers have dwindled and they are looking for more new members and I might be going back to use the same hall on the same day and use it for mini classes for stampin up! products.

The format of the meetings are really relaxed you just take some stamping stuff along and projects you want to do and do them. Sometimes people take stamps to share with the others to stamp so take extra white card along, sometimes someone might have something new to share and might end up doing a demo! although they will probably panic at the word demo, shall I re phrase and say sometimes someone might have something new and they show each other how it works.

I am not sure how much it is for the meeting but only a few pounds. Also I said I might be sharing the hall with them and I will come along and make a SU project and for a nominal fee you can join in, I am think just a pound or something to make the project. This wont be a big full on class but just showing off some of the SU products and making something with them that you cna take home. Then you will be finished and able to join back into the main group. If you are interested email me your contact details and I will get Su to contact you.
