More Bunting

I am having a table at my kids school and planning to sell some buntings, well take orders to be exact.
Here are 2 samples I have made recently

Been really busy with working and only had a couple of precious days with my boys on their school holidays as working today and tomorrow too.  They are back to school Tuesday.

Tonight we went to a local garden centre/nature walk place and they had a special scary walk with all sorts of scary people dressed up and jumping out on me and Harvey... I screamed my head off!! LOL

Woodware Challenge - Spooks and Treats

This week its spooks and treats with Woodware and I decided to choose the treats and make this cute pail.

How I do usually try and use as much Woodware product as I can, however you can clearly see the
Martha "goo" punch around the top, it really needed something on the top and this seemed to fit the bill.

I have used the Francoise set Spooky Tots to stamp this adorable Dracula!
The Star punch is the "Green" sized punch
and you can not see it in this picture but I had stamped black bats onto the pail itself
This is an idea you could use with the kids to create their own trick or treat pail.  I know
my boys would love to make one!

Boo!

Here is the "Boo" Bunting that I made yesterday.  Again something just for fun!

The bunting shape is from Cats Pyjamas
The dripping Goo punch is Martha and I had to get this from USA
Spider and Bats are old cuttlebug cutters
Werewolf is Inky Antics (are they still about?)
The Ghost is Stampendous
Spider Web is from part of a Penny Black design, the whole image has a mouse hanging off the web
Lettering are Donnas Alpha from Spellbinders - via Crafts U Love

Hope you enjoy your up and coming halloween weekend, had wanted to visit
Tulleys Farm but realised it my long weekend  at work this weekend :( oh bottoms!

Crafting for fun!

Well it doesn't happen often but today I crafted just for fun and just for me! It was lovely.  Here is one of the things I made.

I used the adorable Little Elf Present from Penny Black, the very talented Mo Manning designed this stamp and you can get it from Crafts U Love.  I have coloured with my Stampin Up! inkpads.  I forget that there are so many beautiful things to colour with than Copics to be honest with you I think I am better at this style than the copics.

Also made a cute halloween bunting for my front door.  Whilst Harvey and I were watching "Nightmare before Christmas" in my shed this afternoon.  Truly a lovely lazy Sunday.

Enjoy the rest of it.

Woodware Design Team challenge - Blue Christmas

This weeks challenge was "Blue Christmas" and I used an adorable Magenta cling stamp for this one.  I do not own many Magenta stamps so this one was a welcome addition to my collection.

Dorothy our DT mummy is away this week so had to get all ours posts early.  I made a card for her and emailed her, then decided I really really didn't like it so I made another.

Here is the newer improved card.

I stamped the image with black in and coloured with my copic markers.
I then squashed a versamark inkpad down on the whole of the stamped image
I chucked on some Stamp & Bond powder on it, I melted the powder
with a heat gun and then finally threw on some beautiful sparkly glitter!

This was mounted onto a kraft coloured base card, I folded one side back to create a z fold
card.  The Merry Christmas was made using the Artimo  stamps.  Unfortunately my
internet is really playing up this time in the evening and its so slow I can't even post
links to the products on the Woodware Site :(

If you want to see my reject card, you can on the Woodware blog.  It was too late for Dorothy
to change it so it had to be the one that was posted.  Still just shows you,
I was having a  really bad day!

I think winter effects my crafting, the long dark evenings, the coldness ect :(  blur!

Noel

Here is a full picture of the bunting we made last week on my class

All the ladies seemed to enjoy their class and the banner they made.

I have been suffering for what seems like forever with tooth ache.  Monday I had a tooth taken out.  But the tooth/gum  ache is still there and I seem to have some tooth still in my gum! :(  I am going into dentist today as emergency, fingers crossed its finally sorted.  With the winter weather it seems to zap my creativity, something about going outside in the dark to get into my palace and the odd 8 legged visitor that scares me!

I have 6 orders for bunting at the moment so once I get this pain sorted I will be back to that.

At Crafts U Love this Wednesday I will be sharing my bunting love and making a lovely Christmas banner
in my morning class.

There are a few spaces left so why not book on it.

Hope to see you there!

Woodware Challenge - Look what I did with my flock

This week I am starting the Woodware Challenge and its all about flock. I have a few flock colours and this stuff lasts forever!  Here I have teamed it up with a cute Stampendous stamp

As you can see I have popped the flock on the bears hats and scarfs

You cant really see the sparkle from the Embossing powder

All that is needed to finish this off I feel would be some nice wintery wording.

Check out out the other DT flock creations :)

I have entered this into the Stampendous CAS card challenge at

Woodware Challenge - Its a sketch!

I like the sketches means the challenge theme is open to whatever you want to use.  This week however I have been so busy with "stuff" you know,  life stuff, work, kids, home, family.  It flew in by my knicker elastic! and just made the deadline for this. And if you think my cards are usually SIMPLE boy this one takes the biscuit, but sometimes thats about all that can happen, Life just dictates that.

This cute pair of kitties is called FORBES and FRIENDS and was drawn by the very lovely Jane Gill

The sketch in itself is quiet simple too.  You can see it on the Woodware Challenge blog HERE
Jane has done a beautiful flowery card worth looking at.

Till next time... soon I hope, just hoping all the "stuff" lets me :)
