Teachers Thank yous

This year I only had to make Caidens teachers gifts as they don't do things like this for Secondary school.

I decided yet again on an old favourite, personalised Note Books.  I figure as a teacher or teaching assistant they must need to make a lot of notes.

First up is Mrs Cooper who teachers Caidens class Monday to Wednesday.
I used the Craft Asylum/Sizzix Fox for this.

Next up are the 2 ta's who have Poppy the very cute owl from
Karen Burniston/Elizabeth Craft Designs.

And lastly for Mr Robinson who teaches the class Thursday and Friday I used
this Penny Black stamp.  Mr Robinson is leaving to take "THE KNOWLEDGE"
so I thought this taxi and London roads and Personalised street sign to fit the bill.

I really enjoyed making these books and I hope the teachers enjoy receiving them.

Karen Burniston - Designer Challenge - Homegrown Holidays =- Day 2

Its me day 2 and I am back with another card.  This one is for the one person in your life that maybe does secretly enjoy Christmas but you often joke that they might be a Christmas Humbug!

As soon as I saw this Woodware Stamp I knew I had to make it work with Snowball the sheep and on this card Snowball is NOT feeling the Christmas Love like the two happy characters on the front are.  Billy and Rudy (who has been slightly altered and looks to me like a calf) are happy its Christmas.  Snowball how ever is letter its true feeling show!

Excited for Christmas, William and Rudy wait behind their fence, surrounded by Snowflake Flowers, Snowflakes and Holly.

or should that be BAAAAA Humbug?!

I hope this card has given you a little smile for today, yes Christmas cards in July might seem
made to some but to us crafters its perfectly normal isn't it?!

All the new Characters are shipping beginning August.

Karen Burniston July Designer Challenge - Homegrown Holidays

Hi Crafters and I am back again with another Designer Challenge and this months it is :)

Homegrown Holidays - here's your chance to celebrate Christmas (or other winter holiday) on the farm. Create a holiday card with a country feel, using any Pop it Ups dies including (but not limited to) the brand new Farm 2 and Merry & Bright.

Today I have this simple FLAT (gasp yes you can do flat cards with Karen Burniston's die) and I have used four of the farm characters.  One from the new Farm 2 collection and 3 from the original collection too.

I let the Bo Bunny paper send the message, with the pretty wreath and bow and 'Tis the season.

Here Snowball is trying to look like the wreath with her own bow in her hair!
She also looks like she has stolen Father Christmas' glasses.

Brownie is doing his best Reindeer impression, maybe hoping
that Father Christmas will take him along this year!

Only Virgil could look this dashing with this splendid mustache!

And lastly Cheepers is trying to see what all the kerfuffle is about and peeking around the corner.

Cheepers, Brown and Virgil are out now and in stock at Crafts U Love

Snowball and the Christmas Props will be shipping to stores very soon!!

I will be back tomorrow with another card to get you in the Festive Farmyard spirit!

Karen Burniston 2015 Summer Release

Hi Bloggers
Thanks for popping by and I have a card I made using the NEW, yes NEW Karen Burniston Farm dies.

Karen has released 2 new collections  Farm 2 and Merry and Bright.  I won't go into big detail on the whole release as Karen has done a much better blog post than I ever could and you can read that HERE

But today I am showing you a card I made using the Rudy the Reindeer Die and the Christmas Tree Pop stand die.  A few years ago we went to Knole Park in Kent and had a lovely walk around the grounds of the beautiful National Trust place.  Whilst there I said to my Mum that we might get to see some deer and very close up too.  I don't think she realise just how close we would get to see these beautiful creatures and one very beautiful stag stuck in my mind. Although not a Reindeer I thought it would be lovely see Rudy like this.

I have used Rudy and the Tree Pop Stand dies and I should think that Crafts U Love
will have them order order soon.  Why not drop them an email to make sure!

These are starting to ship from Elizabeth Craft Designs first week August
I also used the new Christmas Sentiment stamp too
