MORE!! Last few

Back again with more cards, 2 more today and 2 tomorrow.

These 2 cards were made using the Stampendous JUNGLE FRIENDS stamp sets
and dies.  I used the IO patterns to stamp the lion to give him a cute pattern.

The Thank you Die is an Xcut die amazing price of just £2.49!!

The Monkey card was decorated with the Karen Burniston  Banana Embossing folder
and Marianne Vine.  The Just for You is again one of the Xcut £2.49 dies :)

Just two more cards tomorrow and then radio silence for a few weeks whilst
we re charge our batteries in the Spanish sunshine!!

Even more .. its a foxy day

I am eking this out aren't I?  Well I figured I cant spoil you all too much with so many cards in one post.

Here I have used a Woodware Stamp (LOVE THIS STAMP) to demonstrate how you can overstamp in a dark colour
to bring back some of the detail once you have coloured.  I love this technique.  Works
very for the "no line colouring" in bringing back some of the detail lost.
The Daisy is from the Stampendous BUILD A BOUQUET die and stamp set.

This once was made using the Stampendous FOREST FRIENDS stamp and die set
ARGH!  Just noticed my second gem has fallen off!! LOL :)

I will be back tomorrow with 2 more cards and I have 2 more to photograph and that will be it :)

More Cards

Hi Crafters,
More cards to hopefully inspire!

Three cards that I was very pleased with were these three from
the BUILD A BOUQUET Stamp and Die set from Stampendous.

I fell in love with this set,  I particularly love the daisy.

Demonstration Cards

Hi Crafters I am back with some more cards from my Demo.

I have to admit, these two cards were more of a struggle for me, you all know I love cute
therefore the subject of these designs made my old brain cells work.  They are very simple, but
then again nice and easy to recreate and despite me feeling nervous how they were they
received several comments that made me feel better :)

The words for both cards are from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Crafts U Love 10th Birthday Demo Day

Yesterday we celebrated 10 years with Crafts U Love with a lovely Demonstration day.  Busy, inspirational and fun!  we had amazing demonstrators on hand Charry who was making lovely felt creations using Memory Box Dies, Pete Hughes from Sizzix who made my day by actually saying he knew me!! Like this is Pete from Sizzix!!  and what I lovely guy with the most amazing samples on show.  Heidi my table neighbour was showing off just what you can to with the WRMK Alphabet Punch Board.  Jo was making wonderful boxes like only Jo can, Sue Dix creator of Sweet Dixie dies and myself outside in the Gazebos and then there was Karen making the most beautiful stamped cards combining the minc machine and Suzie from Cricut showing off that amazing machine.  There will be many pictures coming on the Crafts U Love blog so be sure to check that out. HERE

I was demonstrating the Stampendous Stamps and Dies and over the new few days I will be sharing these with you.

Here I have used the Stampendous JUNGLE FRIENDS rubber stamps and dies
I love how close these dies and stamps are and using the Misti for lining up the stamping
on the dies was a lifesaver.

This is a banner I made for my table using the Stampendous
BUILD A BOUQUET stamps and dies
and the WRMK Alphabet Punch Board.

Prima Pencil and Stamping Mini Demo

I had a Prima pencils and Stamping Mini Demo today.  Unfortunately all good plans and all that my son broke his arm Friday late afternoon so it meant I didn't get much time in my shed to make lots of samples but I managed to make 3 cards and 2 images coloured which I will make into cards very soon I hope.

First up are a couple of cards I made using the MFT "Knead you" stamp set from Crafts U Love.

As well as the MFT stamps on the card above I used :
La La Land Zig Zags
Marianne Designs Film Strip

On this one I used the MFT stamps, Marianne arrow, Marianne # and photo frame too.

Next up I made this card using Woodware Stamp called "you make me happy"

And lastly a quick coloured image from Stampendous Called "Screwloose, nights sky".
I hope to make this into a card very soon.

Fly - my second card

Well I didn't think I was going to manage it.  But I made this card tonight, another one for the Karen Burniston Fly theme.  Now this card went in the bin once, but I worked on it a little more and I was happy enough to share it.

All the stamps are from Stampendous from my "stamp stash"
Not sure if they are available still.  They are called
Bee Showers N224
Bee flowery 192
Wish Doodle D150

The Flowers are prima, again years and years old.. I mean as old as my kids! LOL

The paper is new and by Bazzill from Crafts U Love and I used the Oval Accordion by Karen Burniston/Elizabeth Craft Designs also
from Crafts U Love for the main card.

Thank You Accordion Card

Evening crafters and thanks for popping by again.  Here is a card I made this weekend for a display at a trade show at the NEC Birmingham to promote Karen Burniston Designs from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I hadn't made this accordion yet so I was looking forward to making time for this one.

This lovely one is called the "Fancy Label Accordion" and I decorated it with a few other bits from Karen's collection such as the "Fancy Frame Edges" and the butterflies from the "Butterfly Pivot" set too.   The wording is a Stampendous stamp called "Doodle Thank you"

All the Karen Burniston by Elizabeth Craft Designs are IN STOCK at Crafts U Love.

Right I am off, I am off to schedule another post for tomorrow for the Karen Burniston Designer Challenge.  The first one since Karen's transition from Sizzix to Elizabeth Craft Designs and what an amazing move it has been :)

Woodware Challenge 3 - Its a sketch!

Its a sketch challenge this week and that leaves it wide open for choosing what we can use, I do have lots of Woodware and Stampendous so its hard to choose.

So above is the sketch, quiet a simple one to play with :)  As I said the hardest thing is choosing what to use.

And here is what I made. A fun bright birthday card for an 8 year old girl.  Of course colours and numbers can all be changed to make it something entirely different.

I used :

STAMPENDOUS - CUPCAKE NUMBERS - CLEAR SET SSC178

CLOISONNE - 8 X 8 COLLECTION (36)- GCD347

and the peach circle punch to make my own domed circles to add on. Of course lashings of glitter too but that hasn't shown up on here.

Remember to visit the Woodware Blog tomorrow for another card from another one of the DT.

Changito Time

I love this little Monkey, he is a Changito from Stampendous. Just reminds me of my boys!

Here is a card I made over the weekend. I coloured with distress inks, stamped the background with SU inks and Circle Circus and I used my Home Made Glimmer Mist on the monkey panel.
Talking little Monkeys they are back to school today!! Yippee! We have had a nice quiet holiday, but even not going anywhere much means more money is spent than normal, so I need them to go back!

A few more Christmas cards

Here are a few Christmas cards I made last night and finished off with glitter today. Mum, Dave and Sue, Dani and Kieran stop looking now!

Now I will waffle a bit in hope that the pictures dont appear in view on my facebook so they wont see them unless they make an effort to look to see them and in that case its up to them! :) What can I say, I am the worlds worst at surprises.

I have used some old stamps, these are by Stampendous and I am pritty sure not available anymore. However I have had them for some years now and I wont part with them, they are so cute and fun arent they?

Coloured with watercolour pencils, some spotty ribbon from stash, glitter from Stampin Up! and punches were too and the Craftwork Cards oval message. Oh and the writing stamp is a retired Elzybells (I believe its retired, It was an old StampingCaz design)
Hope everyone is keeping safe in the ice and snow. Its very slippery here today so I am going to stay in with the kids and not venture out.

Two cards in one day..

Must be a record! Well it isnt but it feels like it somewhat, Farm Town has a lot to answer for!More farming means less cards, but being away on holiday made me a/ miss card making terribly and b/ made a break from Farm Town so I am less addicted!! LOL

Here is a card I made for Brennan who is one of Harveys friends. I love Changito Monkey from Stampendous and I used a Changito set SSC177 Changito Birthday, The number from SSC178 from Cupcake Numbers and the birthday circle from SSC670. I am not sure who has these at the moment, I would check out both The Glitter Pot and Sirstampalot for these. BTW Sirstampalot have the lovely Graduation Magnolia collect in stock and are taking pre order for the fabby Animal collection too.

Paper is Stampin' Up!, as it the watercolour crayons I used to colour the images in. To order either of these items email me. stampingcaz@btinternet.com SPECIAL OFFER Order all 4 of the watercolour wonder crayons sets from me (£16.95 each) and you will receive the neutrals for FREE (worth £8.50) This is an offer only through me and limited time only.

I really love this card, so clean, simple.. guess thats my card style all over. I look at the amazing pieces of art all over blogs and wish I could be more like them, but for me this simple style just takes over all the time. Lack of time and stingeyness might play some part too!! ;)

Bursting

No I dont need the loo! LOL But that was my classes yesterday at the Glitter Pot, 13 in the morning! and a few less in the afternoon and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Julie was there and as much as we wanted a natter the most we got was a few minutes in the day and 5 minutes in the carpark afterwards. Julie was amazing everyone with her Craftwork Cards creations and the goodies were flying off the shelves!

For my classes we had NEW Penny Black in the morning and Fluffles for the afternoon.

Penny Black fairy with flocked dress!

Fluffles with bunny slippers - tooo funny

Lovely white embossing - simple but I really liked this card

Lastly the Coredinations cardstock, embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder and Bee Fluffles. All cards very simple, nothing too taxing.
Chat later, Harvey has just got up and is wanting his brekkie.

Getting ready for Party

As I have said, Harveys birthday is Sunday and his party is too... so I have brought the usual plastic bits for the bags, bouncy balls, disc shooters, little parachute men and I am making a few things too...

Here is thing number one

plastic test tubes filled with millions and topped with a cute Changito in space monkey from Stampendous and the circle and star punch from Stampin' Up! I pieced a little piece of ribbon between the star and circle and just put that inside the tube and popped the cap on.

Luv Ya! - Valentines Day

Not really a big thing in my house. Darren doesnt get me a card and I dont expect one. This year in April we have been married for 9 years and together for 20!! So I have during the 20 years got used to the fact that my hubby isnt a romantic type. But thats OK, thats him, he was like that when I met him and I love him all the same ;0) this doesnt stop of me of course making him a card and sometimes buying him a little something, usually Chocolate!

Here is the card I made him, he has been banned from reading my blog this week encase I showed off his card, he is a blog stalker you know, he is always reading my posts! Makes me a little nervous sometimes I can tell ya (I am SURE you know why) Anyway... I used one of the lovely Stampendous Fluffles stamps... this is such fun to colour and I coloured my cats in Ginger for Darren and Brown for me! I used my SU inkpads to colour this in and used all one colour family which was Earth Elements. It doesnt have to cost the earth to colour with the inkpads as you can buy the Stampin' Spots now which are 1" square inkpads and for a set of 12 its £17.50 they are perfect for colouring with too, take the lid off press the colour onto a tile or plate and use with a waterbrush as a palette. perfect! The white embossed hearts are the hearts from the Sale-a-bration Polka Dot Punches set and the sentiment is one I have had for years. I used my Nestie Labels one dies (YEAH AT LAST) and the papers are SU.
I am off to the Glitter Pot today for 2 classes, should be fun, one layer cards and Lots of Layers and my Mum is coming with me so that will be nice ;0)

What do you want?

I know thats what my hubby will text me with when he opens his lunch. Firstly I dont usually offer to make him lunch, but it was all part of a master plan. I made a small 4 x4 card last night and just wrote a little note for Darren to find when he gets his lunch out. Like most people, there are things we used to do when we were first together that we no longer do, like me writing him little notes, full of waffle really, just saying hello and I love you. So here is the front of his little card ;0)

Very simple, but you are used to that hey? Fluffles from Stampendous giving FREE HUGS, a piece of decorative paper, a white gel pen, a Stampin' Up! punched and shaped flower and a Craftwork Cards candy.
