Weekend news

I was working at The Glitter Pot all weekend. It was very busy and lots of lovely people came along to see all the demonstrators and pick up a few birthday offers.

I was working with the very cute "popcorn bear". Stamping of course and also dabbling with the software programme. If you love decoupage and love popcorn this is for you! Decoupage, invertiage, twisterpage, backing papers, envelopes and lots more.

Here are my stamped cards

Penny Black fun

I got some Penny Black stamps today from The Glitter Pot. Although I feel far from Christmassy today I couldnt wait to ink them up!

Now I LOVED this as soon as I saw it. These mice are ADORABLE!! Awww tooooo cute. They are tiny, it took concentrated colouring for their little legs and arms... awwwww

A little close up and a normal shot of this cute ted! He is on a mission to get home and decorate his prize tree isnt he?!

You can order yours from www.theglitterpot.co.uk

Tomorrow I am off to Eastbourne, a day on the beach and watching the planes at the airshow. I have a bit of a "thing" for loud planes and helicopters so I love it!

Phew

We had fun at the Glitter Pot yesterday. 10 ladies in the morning and we sqeezed 13 in in the afternoon, phew! Lots of cutting and worn out feet at the end of it.

Morning was doodlebug (teamed with Penny Black) and afternoon was Forever Friends.

Here are the cards we made, these taken on the webcam so they look a bit naff.

This pink one above wasnt finished until I got to the Glitter Pot and I didnt take a photo. But I added card candy, ribbon and wording onto it.

This was a side step card that once we all mastered our craft knives we had fun making it!

Cherries Jubilee - thats the name of this Cherry stamp, I love the new fruity doodlebug paper. OM the special brads they have are adorable. The cutest cherries, strawberrys and more... have a look! I didnt get any but will one day.

Something different, a octagon card. Teamed up with the cutie pie strawberry mice!

So today I am at Crafts U Love all day. Teaching and demoing. Not sure when I am going to be able to get any food shopping for the family! Not even sure what time I finish today?!

Here is a card I made last night with a digistamp from Fred, she said designs. The paper is doodlebug and the ribbon is part of a special ribbon deal that SU has going on on 1st August.
This one was taken with my phone, Oh how I miss my camera!

Glitter Pot Demoing

I was demoing at the Glitter Pot today, using their fabby EXCLUSIVE Forever Friends stamps. These stamps are ADORABLE.. I had great fun as you can see.

I loved colouring this bear sitting on the step. Used my nesties for this shape and a martha punch for the top and bottom.
Simple but effective, I love the lilac with the black and white

I used a nestie to make the flower. Words are Craftwork Cards
My nesties got used today. I loved this card and the soft colours

I loved this pinky red card too.
I will be back tomorrow with some more closer photos, but for now here is a group shot and some of the closer ones

Remember these stamps can not be brought ANYWHERE else!

Another day of demos

Come along if you are near. The very talented and lovely Jane Gill and Francoise Read are with me in the room I am demoing today. They are soooo clever and inspirational so do come and see them. Here are some more of the cards I made yesterday. At demos its very fast paced with people coming up and watching and expecting instant cards so they are never really my best work, but it shows people how easy they are to use. They still turned out OK. Lets face it, its not hard when using these stamps.

What's cute, brown, fluffy and has a bunch of woodland friends?

The new Teddy's from Penny Black that's who AND they are available from The Glitter Pot!!

It is a shame there are only 2 wooden stamps with this range and one clear... Or maybe its not!! LOL but I am sure we will see more of this adorable ted again. Those Older Penny Black fans may see a tiny bit of Rambling Ted in this style?

There is a clear set with a tree which ted can sit leaning on. There are also some lovely clear sets with all the best known Penny Black critters.
If you want to see these critters in action then come along Sunday to The Glitter Pot where I will be demoing them. I can't wait!

Daisy & Dandylion

I had two classes at The Glitter Pot today using the very adorable stamps called Daisy and Dandylion, Candyfloss and Marshmellow.

Here are my cards

We had a lovely day. Do you like the flower we made on one of the classes? here is a closer look.

The Glitter Pot have an EXCLUSIVE set from this range. Its very cute and best thing is you dont need to choose if you like the elephant, bear, dog or rabbit as they have one of each on the set as well as lots of lovely words and accessories.
Today my Mum got my a bigshot for my birthday after me breaking me cuttlebug ;) Thanks Mum xxxx I had given her some stamps towards the payment so we were both happy.
Had a major shocker of an electric bill in.. GULP... it has been estimated for a while and the monthly charge has gone up 4 times the normal payment!!!! :( Boo Hoo How we are supposed to pay that I have NO clue! I will be calling them Monday.
I am at Crafts U Love Tuesday morning for a class. We will be making paper flowers with punches. They still have places so do call them if you want to come along and I will try and invent as many flowers as I can!! LOL ;0)
Hope you have had a lovely Saturday

Two to share

Well that was a productive day by Sunday's standards. I went food shopping this morning, then sorted out lunch, took Harvey to a party at 3pm and then set to making a few cards, all whislt cooking the Sunday roast and sorting the washing out too... good job us women are good at multi tasking eh?

I have had a few new things to show you. I love the Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis stamps.. I love a lot of the Sugar Nellie stamps but Leanne Ellis ones are too cute to resist. Now I was a good girl with the Gorguss Girls, I would have loved to get them all but couldnt afford the price for the set, but I got a little payment on my paypal account which meant I could treat myself to the new Leanne ones instead. Gorguss Girls will follow I am sure but I still deciding which I really really want. So for this card I used lots of my fav yummies.
Firstly of course is the lovely stamp, once I mounted it on the EZ mount it stamps beautifully. I took this image to bed last night and coloured with my pro markers, always a bit of a challenge as the light from the bedside lamp is terrible! Anyway, I made this with some of my SU goodies, lovely cardstock in Bashful Blue and Chocolate chip, as well as paper from the Summer Picnic collection. The flower is one of the beautiful Die Cut Blooms from SU and its of course in Bashful blue (see SU and their perfect matched items) The wording circle is one of the lovely brown message circles from Craftwork Cards, you can't see but it is foiled with gold writing.

My second card is made using the adorable stamps from DO crafts. Now these stamps are fantastic value with the kit of stamps costing just £5.99 when you get the stamps out the packing you think "ohhh these feel weird" and then maybe you might worry that they wont stamp well. Thats exactly what I felt like, BUT all fears were put to bed once I stamped them as they stamped really well. The papers I have used are Stampin' up! the red flower is from the blooms cuts and the spotty flower is Craftwork Cards. The Tulle is from Crafts U Love and last but not least the stamps are from The Glitter Pot.
This card is actually very red but the colours havent come out right.

I am going to see if I can get another card made before Lost is on.... OMG I am totally hooked and look forward to Sunday nights Lost fix.

Saturdays classes

I had two lovely classes at The Glitter Pot on Saturday and it was really lovely as my Mum decided to come along and do the classes and she enjoyed them, although she says she not into cardmaking I could see that maybe that might change the more she does!

So here are mine and mums cards. - mine are the first ones. She did fantastically well for her first classes and I was also very grateful to have someone in the car with me as I am still having panic attacks since my spin! Especially as it was a frosty morning.

I have been creating a new website and its solely for my Stampin' Up! promotions and information. As you all know I am trying to build on my customer base as well as get other people joined as demonstrators but I dont want to keep harping on about it on my blog as I dont like feeling like I am annoying those that dont want to know. So my website will be SU stuff, I will still post SU cards on here and other cards using SU products and may well shout "hey check out my SU website for more info on xxxxx" but thats about it. I do hope some of you will have a peek now and then. Oh and the address is www.stampingcaz.co.uk nice and easy eh?
