Here is a some bunting I made for the shop I work at.  We have a nice collection of Halloween goodies and I made this to hang above it.  See my little sign to right  -------->   I am going to offer to make bunting for friends/school mums.... we'll have to see if anyone takes me up on it, but I thought it was a nice idea.

I made another example last night, I still have to thread it onto the ribbon, will share when that is done.

Here is  card I made last week.  Using Magnolia and a Imaginesce stamp.  Photo is rubbish, I really need to sort these out as the lighting in here is terrible and only going to get worse for the time of year.

Sunday, August 15

I don't tend to make memory album pages, or scrapbook pages, whichever you want to call them.  But I do enjoy the few I have made.

Over on In Love With Stamping they started a blog hop, today 15th for us to celebrate the midway point of the August Special offer.  I have chosen a set called BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY, this fantastic set is only £19.16 for this month.

I have used the Sweet Pea paper stack for the "bunting".  Serif Alphabet for the title.  The balloons, ice cream top and cupcakes are all from BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY.

All mounted onto Kraft card, soon to be known as Crumb Cake.

Next on the hop is Rachels blog to see what wonders she has made

And if you missed the beginning you need to go here... to see Antheas wonderful work.

I havent posted this yet

SO here is another card from me, I know, steady on Caz, there is a pattern forming... Stamping and posting.. Oh makes me soooo happy!

The main image is a Penny Black that I got from work.  The papers are imaginesce (spl) and the words are the fabulous words by Paula Pascal.  All in SU inks of course :)

Typical isn't it, Just said to hubby tonight how well boys are doing in room together and how Harvey hasn't had one of his night terrors.  Only to next hear Harvey having one!!

Also on a Harvey front, I don't think I told you on here about his latest thing??

Oh yes last Monday he broke his arm (again)  different arm, not a bad break but non the less a break and plaster!  He has had his cast on a week, it is BLACK!!  he has been playing outside, in the mud and dust, then he decided to accidentally dunk his arm in the bath... Not quite sure what to do about that, it seems dry now, still filthy.  He has to have it on until next Weds when we can take it off ourselves.

Oh the joys, he is off to the Y.M.C.A for the week for a play scheme thing.  Last year he went and lost a tooth, 2 of his school friends did too...  he is going with 6 wobbly teeth this time, we keep singing  "YMCA, you loose your teeth at the YMCA"!

Sundays card

Here I have a card I made with a Wild Rose Stamp.  I have coloured it with Promarkers.  The ribbom is Stampin Up!   The flower was made with the Stampin Up! 5 petal flower and the brown shape was made by cutting down the scallop oval and then matched it up with the word window punch.  The paper are Wild Rose too.  Turned out toooo cute if I dont say so myself.  So you can see how well the Stampin Up! items work with other images too.

I have 4 places on my next Stampers Ten club that is starting in October.  Please email to put your name down.  As a member of the club you will receive a Brand Spanking New 2010/11 catalogue and order £15 each month for 10 months.  Maybe you want to collect stamp set each month, add to your punches or buy all the fab new colours?  Whichever it is, the stampers group makes shopping so much easier to build up your collection.  One of these months you will be able to act as hostess and get your hands on a hostess set and spends too!  All this from the comfort of your own home.  I will also include samples of ribbons and cardstock ect throughout the months.  New to this round of the club is a monthly card kit with emailed PDF instructions.  I don hope you will join me.  First 4 to reply will be included.

And finally I made a 12 x 12 page today, one of only a handful I have ever made, you'll have to wait til 15th to see it, when I join a talented group of stampers/scrappers for a special blog hop to celebrate the fantastic offers this month from SU!

Greenhouse Garden 2 step stamps

Here I have made another Greenhouse Garden card using the stamps in 2 step mode.  The lower level image is stamped in a lighter ink, the upper image is stamped in a darker tone.  I do this all by eye, for those that would struggle with this you can use a stampamajig (available from Stampin up!)  this allows for perfect placement.

The "Thinking of you" stamp is from the Trendy Trees set another set that is on this months promotion too.
Three of the flowers have been cut around, Scrunched and stuck in their middles to give a raised finish.

I hope you have liked my two cards from today.  I have enjoyed fitting them in around unpacking car and making our Sunday roast ;) YUMM

Check back soon for some cards made using the BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY set that is also in the promo.  Also hope to grab one of my New Penny Blacks soon as well.  Feel a cute fix is needed.

A 2 step stamping sample - without the 2 step

I have just made a card using the 2 step stampin set called GREENHOUSE GARDEN which is one of the sets in the 20% off offer this month.

In this set there are 10 great stamps which can be used to create a wonderful array of flowers.  I have opted for using the stamps as a one step stamp and I embossed them in clear powder on WHISPER WHITE cardstock.  I then spritzed the cardstock with water and then sponged on some inks.  I added a writing background stamp (Hero) to the background and the HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting too.  This was mounted onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock, then mounted onto a white stamped card and dotted Razzleberry card added too.

If you want to check out THIS GALLERY then you will find lots and lots of beautiful cards.  REMEMBER THIS set is available from me for just £18.36 for this month only.

Am hoping to get more cards made in the next few days showcasing the other sets in this offer.
