Had a little time tonight  to make my first  card with the Crazy Cats stamps and dies from Tim Holtz and they were great fun.

I've also included a picture of the way as Mark my dies with different nail varnish to keep the dies in groups.  I hope this might help some of you find all the bits for these dies.

Needed a little box for a gift for a friend and since I had my soft finish cardstock, Distress Ink Pads and Poppy die to hand I decided to use this.

I used sponge daubers to apply the inks.  

The soft Finish cardstock will be in stock at Crafts U Love soon.

Very excited for this weekend when all our Crafts U Love customers  are invited into the store to meet Karen Burniston who is demoing on Saturday.   I'm actually  off this Saturday, on a day holiday and going with the family to Warhammer World in Nottingham for Harveys birthday  treat.
But I'll get to meet Karen on Sunday at the trade show at the NEC.

I've been working on this banner for a couple of evenings and just need to string it up to welcome Karen to the store.

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge day 2 - GLITTER

I am here with another blingtastic creation and if you see a lady walking about tomorrow in Redhill sparkling like Diamonds that will be me :)

Today I have made a flat card and used one of the new Karen Burniston stencils along with some white paste and glitter.

This card has so much sparkle but sadly my phone didnt want to pick it up very much

Karen Burniston - Designer Challenge - GLITTER

Hi Crafters and I am here today with a new challenge from Karen Burniston and this month it is GLITTER!  Slightly earlier than normal in the month due to the fact the Karen is coming over to the UK in a few weeks!!  yes you heard right.  Karen is coming over to the NEC for a trade show and I will get to meet her when she is there.  YOU could get to meet her to at Crafts U Love in Charlwood Surrey as Karen has kindly agreed to come along to Crafts U Love for a demonstration day.  Saturday 20th Feb and you can see more about it HERE.

Elizabeth Craft Designs has the most gorgeous selection of super super fine, smooth glitter in lots of lovely colours and I used three different colours on this card today.

I call this card  BE Mine.  BE Happy..... Be.......  and you'll have to see the inside to see the next BE word! I made this with hubby in mind for Valentines and I thought a play on words would be funny with BAKER the Beaver taking centre stage inside the HEART PIVOT card.

I have tried to capture the glitter but it was really hard tonight, it is blowing a gale out

there tonight with storm "Imogen" hitting us and gusty rain hitting my Crafty Palace.  It was nice to be pugged up inside there all safe and warm (actually too hot) and watching my neighbours gazebo bouncing up and down, good job they have it tied down or else it might end up in Timbuktoo!
