Froggie Part two

I made another card with the cute Hero Arts set. This time I am happier with the results, I think it was the colouring medium I used last time. This time I coloured it with my Stampin' Up! ink pads and waterbrush.

Paper is Stampin Up, scalloped edge Stampin Up! Cuttlebug birds and swirls embossing folder used on the COREDINATIONS blue card and then sanded.

Thanks for looking!

Weekend waffle

Happy Saturday to you!

Today I went to Crafts U Love to pick up some stuff I need to prep for my class on Tuesday with. I am taking a class using some of the Autumn Leaves 99p stamps. There really are some bargain stamps out there now. I picked up a cute bird, swirl and two flower stamps to have a look at and think of somethign for the class. I also happened to find a cute stamp set from Hero arts and as much as I shouldnt have got it... ahem.. it followed me home.

So above is the card I made with the cute Hero Arts set. Not entirely happy with card but its OK.

I also made a little bag using my free newtons stamp from Quick Cards Made Easy. I brought this magazine JUST for the stamp!! LOL And then went onto take the stamp off the wood and recut and mounted onto U Mount as it really was a terrible stamp before remounting. It once mounted again stamps lovely and looks cute eh?

Talking Hero, I want to Thank Sir stampalot once again for their fantastic fast service. I got the new Hero Catalogue and two magnolia stamps. The Hero catalogue is FANTASTIC!! there are SOOOOO many wonderful stamps in it and its full of ideas to. STUNNING.

3 Little cards

I made last night with Pocket Silhouettes (SU!) and various other SU papers and accessories.

Again not my style, ie not cute but being a SU demonstrator means I need to think outside of the box and the comfort zone! I LOVE SU products and I love use their punches, papers, card and accessories with all my other stamps and I love their stamp designs, but you all know they arent "me" in their style are they? They take a little more work for me to produce cards with.. but thats OK, its good to challenge yourself and good to make cards for other people who might want a more grown up looking card. The style of a lot of their stamps is ink and stamp! which means quick cards! When I got the new SU catalogue I was instantly excited to see the Pocket Silhouettes set, it makes lovely cards, even for "learners" like me, who are not used to the stamp and thats it, and more use to the stamp, COLOUR technique.

My fav is the bottom one in red, black and brown.
Thanks for the all replies yesterday, I didnt mean for my ditty to sound down about things.. just felt complelled to write it and thats how it came out ;0)

Shall I save it for tomorrow or share today?

Made another card today.. I wonder if I should share

Will it go uncommented... will anyone really care

am I talking to myself.. and otherwise demented

or will people pop on by .. and make me feel contented

I've made another card you see... the style isnt really me..

nothing cute or full of fluff... I am sure by now you've had enough

but I am happy with this card today... a different style a different way

so do you care, do you want to see?... or is the only one listening my Mum and me!

Making up little ditties is something I got off my lovely ol' Dad. They arent perfect but fun to write.

Simple Sunflowers

I love sunflowers, my favourite flowers. When clearing out those stamps I saw this cute little girl too.. again its a Stampendous Our kids design. Coloured with Promakers and I used some of the scrummy paper and 5 petal punch from SU too.. Very simple card as I have to leave to get Woo now.

Will Smith is on the TV on This Morning, might have to sky Plus that as I do love Will. Have you seen Hancock? I got it for Darren for Christmas and really enjoyed it.. Quiet funny and an original "Super hero" story.

Crafty Comments Image Candy Winner

I love and appreciate your comments and so every so often for my loyal "commentors" I will give you a little candy of some images.... So TINA who is always so mega quick at commenting please email me stampingcaz@btinternet.com with your address and tell me your fav card of the last few weeks and I will stamp you some images from that card.

No card just yet

I havent managed a card for today. I did colour two images last night. Just fighting with the underwear pile and then I will hopefully get to it before I have to pick Caiden up from Pre school.

In the meantime things to drool over.... As you know I have fallen in love with PollyCraft for their downloads and they have put these sneak peeks of a new line called "introducing Sherbert" and these are coming as Stamps! I can not wait for these to come and ask Paula from Pollycraft if she minded me showing these designs off (take off her blog) and she said "of course".

I will keep you posted when I know more ;0) They look adorable though dont they?! Another thing for the list...

If you shake your head from side to side

This card looks ok... if you look at it with a steady head you can see just how wonky it is!! GULP Terrible eh? The images bless them, look lovely, just a shame I couldnt stick or stamp for toffee last night.

Images are Stamping Bella
Words - Stampin' Up!
Other - Cuttlebug folder, SU paper, Craftwork Cards candy
** edited to add for all those wondering about the cottage pie I made a BIG dish approx 10" dish, 4-5" high and Darren and Robert (BIL) ATE THE LOT!! so it might have looked a bit dodgy to start with but it was tastey ;)

Scrapling again

Whilst sorting out my stamps to sell I came across this little cutie, she is called Hugging Hearts and she is from Stampendous. Sad thing is I havent inked her up for probably nearly 10 years!! and the sadder thing is is that if you like her you wont be able to get her as she was released long time ago when Stampendous held the licence for "Our Kids" images. Sorry not meaning to tease but I just had the urge to ink her up!

Today I sent a photo of the cottage pie I had made Darren. I dont cook them that often so was proud that I had made it. I sent him the picture of the minced beef in gravy with carots and onions before I put it in the dish with the mashed potato on it and you know what he text back? "Is that sick"... LOL I suppose with the carrots he can be let of... I called him back and said "no its your tea"... heeee heee I wont eat it, I dont like mince but it smelt yummy whilst I was cooking it.

Here is another card I made this weekend. I saw this fantastic tip for people with either the SU USA topnote die (if there are any USA readers out there) or you can use it for the Nesties as well for all is no USAers... SO I will make this ladies blog, My Monday must not miss it blog
http://technostamper.blogspot.com/2009/01/fun-with-top-note-die.html Mary Jo Price-Williams and her fab idea with turning the shape after cutting has made a fab shape.

The stamp is one of the ADORABLE Huggabugs from stampingbella. All the papers are from the very fabby Stampin' Up! (via me if you havent got a demonstrator) The cute heart is from Crafts U Love but I think they might have sold out of these. As are the pins with a pearl on top, but they do (did) still have these in stock. Coloured with pencils and lashings of glitter glue.

A HUGE thank you to all that have brought from me! I am ALMOST there with my target so please do see what is left and if you want it let me know... I added more pictures so you can see how fab the studio sets are.
