How cute is she?? This is one of the new Shabby Chic stamps I got the other day. I have teamed her up with the cute flower stamp and I coloured her in with my Stampin' Up! ink pads and aqua painter. I mounted her onto a piece of stamped acetate which I had decorated with White Staz on and a Penny Black stamp. To finish I added two of my beautiful stash of Primas and added a jewel brad from SU. Lashings of glitter glue and voila! you have this.... It was really hard to photograph, I have had to adjust it a bit in Irfanview to get it to look closer to real life.
So today I was sitting there adding copics to a cart, choosing colours ect... now I have talked myself out of it again! LOL I really like the effect BUT I currently have
Decorator chalks
Pebbles Chalks
Complete set of Distress inks
Almost complete set of SU Inks
300+ watercolour pencils
SU Pastels
SU watercolour Crayons
Lyra Watercolour Crayons
almost the whole set of H20's
I dont need more... I cant demo them, I cant use them in magazines and I could get a LOT of stamps with the money, especially if they are unmounted stamps...
Do you do that? talk yourself out of things? This isnt the first time that I have almost ordered to then pull out.. tee hee I think I need to see and try the copics in real life, for now I have enough colouring stuff dont ya think?

Very familiar Caz! It's soooo difficult knowing when to stop isn't it!
Haha yes, in fact I talked myself in and out of Copics for a few months before I got any. Same with prismacolour pencils actually, oh and Twinkling H20s...
Love the card, I daresay I will be spending far too much at Magnolia very soon to get the newest designs!
Love the card Caz. Got to get me that tulip stamp! I like the way you can split it to give a 'mirror' image effect. Beautiful colouring with your meagre supplies!LOL! Glad to hear that Irfanview is helping out!
Hi Caz.. I'm so with you on this one!! I've talked myself out of copics for about 6 weeks now, and as I'm really into my distress inks at the mo, I believe i can get the same effects with them!!
They really are alot of money and I wouldn't think twice on splashing out on them if like you I didn't have so many other colouring mediums... but hey.. might change my mind again next week!! lol
Love your card and such great colouring!!!
Hugs, Marlene xx
Haha I do it all the time..... I have talked myself into more then I have talked myself out of though. I really dont think I would use copic's though, I love my prisma pencils too much. Get the stamps. :)
Caz I have filled shopping baskets all over the place that have then been emptied. Luckily I keep my credit card in one part of the house and the computer in the other if they were together I think a lot more would be 'checked out', it's the journey to the cupboard for my handbag that gives my brain the opportunity to think for a moment! Now Paypal is a different matter!!!
what a cutie. Love the way your coloring came out.
Hi Caz, gorgeous card. WOW! Don't you have a lot of colouring meduims!! I bought a couple of Copics to have a go with first and found I liked them I now a few but they are expensive. I only use them oncertain stamps - I doubt I would use them to colour a PB for example. i do love them though but don't have half as much colouring stuff as you do!! x
she is the cutest
always talk to myself
