It occured to me that we are always raving about the next best thing, the WOW item, newest stamps ect ect and we have some of these unsung hero's that we use all the time and never take the time to "big em' up" so I was thinking this today of my BLACK ONYX VERSAFINE (YEAH I mean you baby) I was stamping some images out for a few friends that had asked for some and I thoguht to myself "I flippin love you ink pad" Why? coz your black and hold your blackness, coz your crisp images you produce, coz you hardly ever let me down, coz you wipe off my stamps and hands with ease, coz I can still watercolour when using you... I love ya! --- OK now I can hear hoards of you leaving muttering she has finally flipped!! LOL Those that stay and tell me about YOUR unsung hero will go in a drawer for some of these "Ohsosexyblackversafineisthebest stamped images"
Catch ya later!!

Oh CaZ I am so with you on this.
for me it is my vintage sepia ink pad by versafine and my double sided tap.
I would truly be lost without either of these products.

Hi Caz, I agree with you, I much prefer using the Versafine Onyx Black inkpad than stazon. It is so much easier to clean up than stazon and especially when using clear stamps the image is so much crisper. Lots of love, Denise x
stix2 tape pens!! I love these little gems!! Kate :o)
You are so funny! My unsung hero is my double sided scotch tape. We just get along so well, it holds up and doesn't ever seem to "let go" as my adhesives have done to me! Which is embarrassing when you send someone a card and then you see them later and they ask how to "reassemble" the card because the adhesive didn't do it's job. Judy T
lol you sure make me laugh, i love reading your slightly crazy thoughts :) my hero has to be my hi-tac glue, you only need a touch of it so it doesn't wrinkle the paper and it sticks everything, including zooms to my fingers !!
I have to say my hero is my ATG gun,i couldn't imagine crafting without it ;i also love Versafine Onyx Black inkpad ,but would use stazon also :):):)

Oh I think it would have to be my Brilliance Graphite Black inkpad. That's the only ink I use at the moment as it means I can colour with Copics, prismas and watercolour.
My other unsung hero would have to be my Sakura clear glitter pen. Perfect for adding little touches.
So funny Caz, haven't tried this ink but maybe i should give it s try, sounds like i am missing something. I love my glamour. Dust that is adds a twinkle and a sparkle everytime.

Lol great post!! :0)
It's gotta be my prismas and zest it. They bring a stamped image to life, I wouldn't be without them I've tried watercolours but just couldn't get on with them. Hmm mind you I've just ordered some SU markers so it could all change!!
Hi Caz - you do make me chuckle!
I'd like to make my VERSAMARK watermark ink pad my unsung hero.
I can use it to emboss with; clean off gunge from sticky scissors (yes REALLY!); watermark images onto dark cardstock and it seems to make dye inks stick to clear polymer stamps better if I use my Versamark ink on the stamp first and you can get Stazon off easier if you use the Versamark on sthe stamp first! Plus Versamark just lasts and lasts and lasts.
I have several.....my versafine pad, DSST, 3d foam pads and Anitas tacky glue, I use all of these on almost every card I make.

My hero has to be good old fashioned double sided sticky tape. I have tried loads of different tape runners and applicators, but I always come back to a good old basic roll of tape! I get through tonnes of the stuff!
I'd be lost without my double sided tape and my little wooden cocktail sticks which I use all the time to apply glue, hold tiny pieces in place etc!!

Hi Caz, I love the fact that you are as CRAZY as I am am about crafting and the various things we get attached to, not sure I would so far as to refer to versafine as SEXY though but hey, each to his (or her) own! My unsung hero has to be my solvent free bostik glue as it sticks everything (even metal) to my cards and the ultra thin tip makes applying to easy (and less messy) than any other glue I have tried to use before. Also, I wouldn't be without my double sided sticky tape and your inspiration (of course). Love the images, hope I win...sorry girls! xxxx
Hi Caz
Love, love. love my circle punches, lost without them.
I've got a bit of a circle fetish.........perhaps I need therapy!! Am missing 2 creative memories ones at the mo and went into depression. Is it me or do you have a crafting black hole at yours too?!!! Things disappear into thin air all the time, drives e crazy!!
Belinda
Caz, you crack me up.. but you have a point!
I join u in the love of versafine black onix and am not ashamed to admit this.. oh no.. I'm proud to stand up and say ' I am a versafine addict' LOL
Hugs, Marlene x
Caz I could not be without my Versafine Onyx Black inkpad, I use it everyday. I also love my Versamark pad for embossing - its fab.
I also love my Koi water pen - its fab for blending.

Oh my best friend on the craft table is a wee corner rounder, makes my wobbly cutting look SO professional - I love it to bits and am frantic when it gets lost under all my stuff and I have to search for it (usually when I'm doing a 'last minute' project).

OH I hate choices will it be inks, tools no I think its my ....
rubber stamps (I'm lumping them as 1 item!! :0o
Carol:0)
for me it has to my acrylic Block , i have tons of different sizes but i dent to use the same one all the time, I would be lost without it as he just fits perfect for all my stamps a little bigger than magnolias, Now he may be messy! he may need a clean but damn his still working fine!
Caz I'm stuck between my black versafine and my grey stayzon cause I love em both. So I think I will go for my ruler trimmer. Its 12" long and sooo portable, lightweight and smaller to use than my A4 desk guillotine.
Hi Caz! My unsung hero is my white gel pen, it really brightens up my day (and my cards lol!)
Love Becky xx
