Spiral Whisper - Challenge - Flourishes

Spiral Whisper Challenge this week was Flourishes. I used a flourish out of the Stampin Up set Season of Joy and used one of the Max and Milly designs for the main image. I LOVE this design.

Family

I love my family.... I love stamping! I love Stampin' Up! So I had to make this frame today. I used the All In Family stamp set that is due out 1st October from Stampin' Up! the felt fusion flowers, jeweled brads and the Neighbourhood wheel. I coloured it in with the Watercolour Wonder crayons so it was a Stampin' Up! full house... If you are interested in any of these items please let me know.

I LOVE Diamond Dust!

I was demoing at Crafts U Love today, playing with Whippersnapper and Magnolia... Now I was in heaven! You know how I love them.... so I am sure you dont want the waffle today... just show me the cards right?

Here you are.....

Diamond Dust is the crystal stuff you can see on and around these cards. Its actually made from very fine crushed glass! It has a beautiful frosty look and a lovely glimmer that is more subtle than glitter. I LOVE IT! Keep checking out Crafts U Loves website as it sold out today, thank goodness I squirrelled away a pot before I started demoing! I hope you like these cards today?

Look at this!

I just got my demo pre order of the Season of Joy stamp set and its fab!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set and I had to order it. Now it comes die cut mounting is a breeze. Just look at the lovely designs.

This set is £24.95 for the 8 stamps the large flower, small flower, swirl and hand stamped star can all be used for any occasion outside christmas so it makes for a fantastic set.

A bargain and my little pig!

I went to the local shops today, there is a 2nd hand furniture place and I always pop in, I saw these and asked how much.... £5!! for the lot... the spaghetti ones I will use for that as I have actually got a pasta jar, but the others are for my palace... bargain or what?!

Now onto my little pig! Who I have to collect soon... He is again at pre school, and sadly again I left him crying, BUT his is crying for 5 minutes and then joining in and when I picked him up yesterday he had this CUTE hat on and a handfull of "drawings" the kind lady at the school has taken her camera in to show me he is joining in and happy there... I think they caught me in tears outside yesterday morning after having him pealed off me... so she kindly said she will PROVE to me he is happy. This picture was taken at home after a chocolate spread sandwich...

Spiral Whisper challenge - Cold Winter

There is another challenge on Spiral Whisper and instead of a sketch it is a theme and its Cold Winter. Here was my entry for this.

I used Stampin Up! Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to make this extra sparkly!

I stamped the image and coloured with promarkers - I used a Stampin' Up! scrap set for the decoration and stuck it onto a small hard notebook and I will give this to Harvey. He is always looking at my stuff I make and asking to keep it, Mean ol' mummy always says no, so this time I will say "yes" and watch his little face ;0)

Forever Fun

I had lots of fun at The Glitter Pot yesterday where I was demoing the Forever Friends stamps and papers. These stamps and papers make for some really lovely cards, As always the demo cards are simple because of the fact that you havent got all your own stash to play with so things like ribbons, flowers, buttons ect are left off. Here are my 60 swaps for the demonstrator meeting tomorrow. I cant wait!!

Caiden went to pre school again today, crying as soon as he saw where we were going, breaks you heart doesnt it? Part of my thinks maybe I should leave him for another 6 months and try again, and part of me remembers Harvey was the same! Anyway, he didnt go under the table today, infact he even went in the garden, so perhaps he will be OK?

Milo is getting on great, he is great fun, caused a few tears with nips to toes! but mostly they were teasing him and he just gets over excited. Harvey and Caiden love him, Harvey sometimes sings a "I love Milo" song and Caiden wont stop talking about him when he goes out, so much so he even gets the blame for when Caiden hurts himself unrelated to Milo he will tell me Milo did it! LOL thankfully we know different. He is a picture from the other day.

Caiden fell asleep and Milo got off his cushion and climbed onto Caiden! Awwww

Will post another card shortly, its this weeks challenge for Spiral Whisper.

Magnolia autumn kit

Has anyone stamped a sheet of these they can share? My friend has got my set but has been too unwell to send them, now I know a few stores are waiting for the new autumn halloween ones and I dont want to duplicate any so please can someone share the images so I can remember what they are and not duplicate?

AWOL

Yeah thats me, gone awol from my blog, just been so busy. Firstly Caidens second day at preschool was different to say the least, he apparently spent the whole session under the table! he was happy, he would come out and get a toy and take it back under... weird child!




Then there was my two classes at The Glitter Pot, had a lovely day, both classes were busy but I didnt take photos so will have to see if Bryan can take some for me.





Then there was the show in Biggin Hill Sunday. Early morning, busy day and a few contacts each, a party each and maybe some demonstrators too so a good days work.





I have also been working on the 60 swaps and I can say YIPEEE as I have finished them. Today I had a moment to stamp and colour, just for fun and it felt GREAT! Here are the images I coloured, not made into cards yet BUT will maybe get a chance Thursday, I got all these stamps from http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/ and I coloured with my promarkers, boy I have missed used them, I wish one of the stores I work at got them in as they are stunning to use!

Cant wait for the chance to mount them up. Friday is fast approaching and I CANT WAIT!! its more exciting than Christmas!! I am going to Stampin' Up! training session and we are hoping to see the new catalogue... fingers crossed.

Right its gone half 9 and I am off to bed, I really need an early night, so tonights the night.

Not as expected

Today started badly, Harvey lost his school shoes, well mislaid as we did find them... but it took 20 minutes to find them. They he cried at school. Then I took Caiden to his first day of pre school, he went off happy as larry, not sure how I felt about him leaving so easily.. then I got home, cuppa tea, adult TV and by that I mean not cbeebies!! LOL I had prep for my 2 classes in Glitter Pot... Oh this is lovely, 2 hours by myself.. made one card, Joanne who I am going to Biggin Hill with called.. natter natter natter 1/2 hour later get making another card. Phone rings, "is that Caroline... Caiden has been a bit upset and is now asleep on the floor and we cant move him as his is getting in a right state when we try" Jump in car. pick him up face down off the wooden floor!! He is wide awake in the car, chatting and smiling.. mummy isnt! Gave him is lunch and put him in car, whacked up heating to make him fall asleep.. did the trick, he has slept now and I have finished my prep. I cant show you right now though but they are cute cards if I dont sayso myself.





Another thing not as expected is this card. I never make 1/2 A4 sized cards but I had coloured these images in... not sure about the card but I doubt it will be given to anyone anyway.

feeling a bit weird today, not sure what.. just a bit yuck! I have a mega busy weekend so I hope it doesnt come to anything. Two very full classes at Glitter Pot and Biggin Hill on Sunday... I cant wait for next Friday too as I have a training session at High Wycombe with Stampin Up! there are over 55 demonstrators going to this meeting and we are having a pizza before hand. I am inbetween things making 60 ish swaps and want to think of a good idea for Demonstrators Choice thing that they are holding.

Stop by for a spell and Night Terrors!

Well, I have had a lovely parcel delivered today containing the fab new Stampendous stamps, Christmas & Halloween Changito and Fluffes. I LOVE Halloween, not sure why but I do and I would love to be over in the states one year for it. I always decorate the front of the house and always buy sweets and make some sort of handmade label or bag for the sweets. SO here are the stamps, you like?

These spooky stamps arent giving me night terrors, but Harvey is having them... He has been having these night time episodes for a while now, it was very unsettling the first time, screaming, crying, sweating and saying over and over he wants Mummy, I am sitting there holding him, saying I am here but he doesnt see me, then he will look behind me with a terrified look on his face and scream, scared the bejesus out of me I can tell you the first time he did it! Of course there is nothing there but he is frightened.. 5-10 minutes later he is fast asleep and snoring! Once I walked in and he saw me and screamed like I was a monster or something.. for the last two nights he has done it and last night I looked it up on the internet, it was like reading about Harvey to a T. Apparently 90 minutes after falling asleep is optimum time for these and he was on the dot last night! Dont really know why I am telling you this, just the halloween thing made me think of it. Also will be good to hear from people whos kids have had it (and grown out of it)
