Just Testing

Peejay took the time to tell me to update my editor so it was easier to add photos and I am just testing it...

and now I am going to type a bit more and see if I can add another and WOW it seems like it works and I LOVE IT.  Thank you Peejay!!

WHOO HOO!!  YES..

In Peejays words
"Re uploading photos to Blogger. I actually find it easier now than it used to be and I've been uploading loads of photos recently especially on my Ramblings blog. I have, however, changed to 'Updated Editor' Go to Settings, Basic and scroll down to the bottom to Global Settings. Where it says Select post editor check Updated Editor. Once you've done that you can post as normal but when you upload photos just put your cursor where you want the photo to be and that's where it will upload to. "

I hope this helps you like it helped me.  No long will blogger be the huge pain in the butt to add photos!

Changito Time

I love this little Monkey, he is a Changito from Stampendous. Just reminds me of my boys!

Here is a card I made over the weekend. I coloured with distress inks, stamped the background with SU inks and Circle Circus and I used my Home Made Glimmer Mist on the monkey panel.
Talking little Monkeys they are back to school today!! Yippee! We have had a nice quiet holiday, but even not going anywhere much means more money is spent than normal, so I need them to go back!

Challenge Night - Challenge 1

On In Love with Stamping a few weeks ago we had a fun challenge night. 7pm - 11pm we had a challenge each hour. The object of the challenge was in assigned teams we had to make cards to meet the challenge BUT also be the team to make the most items and that team would be the
winner. I was in Lions team, we came a very close second.

here are the cards I made :) unfortunately Caiden who never wakes in the evening woke at 11;45 just when I was finishing off the last challenge so that cost me probably 2 cards.

Remember these were timed, fast and furious with all cards having to be uploaded by midnight cut off. Also with it being night time it was hard to photograph the pictures too!

g

These first cards were made for the "baby Wipe" technique challenge. using a baby wipe we made an inkpad with re-inkers (hard to see the colour difference but I used red and orange re inkers) This is a hostess level 3 set and I thought the bold flower perfect for this technique.

I will post later/another day about the other challenges. Blogger is a TOTAL nightmare to add lots o photos with the newer ones going right to the top, then you have to slowly drag down and then all the writing goes weird.
Have a lovely Sunday. Looks like its going to be a lovely day.

2 cards today

I made two cards just for fun and thouroughly enjoyed it :)
Both cards have been adorned with the lovely Martha Punches. The cute little frog was from Ikea, I just saw her and could not resist. The boys looked like they were expecting it to come their way but nope, it was just for me and is sitting with my craft stuff in the front room. The Flower Tot on that card is a fabby design by Francoise Read. I punched the surround of the card using the corner and edger punch and hand coloured the flowers, yep it took a little while but I think it was worth it!
The top card was made using a mix of a Digital stamp from Meljen Designs and one from Pixie Dust Studio, Meljens has been in my bookmarks for some time, but I only found the Pixie Dust Studio today. Adorlable designs and a lovely owner who I have been chatting to online off and on in the day, chatting about her lovely drawings and also TWILIGHT and our love of Edward!! LOL

Stampin Up! Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Mini Blog Hop - there are a whole bunch of talented crafters taking part. You should have come to me from Joanne if not click here to go back right to the beginning of the hop and you will get to see all the talents and inspiration along the way. You can pick up 2 further hops from their too as there are 3 happening at the same time.

This mini is released 1st April. As a SU demo we get to pre order and play for a whole month!! Fantastic eh?

There are lot of lovely things to choose from and I chose Fox and Friends to showcase a few cute cards.

I was inspired by this one above by a card I saw at Splitcoast Stampers. I have changed mine to include a tall tree and a short bush like thing. I have also used some of the new paper stack that is in the Mini Catalogue, the scalloped oval and circle punches too. I love the little fox and Owl, these have to be my fav two images from this set. I also love the trees I created with the punches and how the larger tree is sort of heart shaped. The owl on this card has been coloured with ink pads for just one colour.

This card was made using again my two fav images Mr Fox and Mr Owl. Mr Fox sitting on a hill whilst Mr Owl is sitting on a branch near the moon. The branch was made using the 2 step bird punch. Those eagle eyed amongst you might have spotted the lushious ribbon! and also there is a sparkle on the card all thanks to my own home made glimmer spray using the Glimmer Paint also in the mini. - WOW all this fab new stuff eh? This owl has been coloured with the Many Marvelous Markers, you can get more detail and colours by colouring them like this. TOP TIP! Remember when colouring onto the rubber with these pens to give the stamp a "huff" before stamping. The moisture from your breath with remoisten the ink and make the impression bright.

Harvey and Caiden might have been my inspiration for this card! Two little monkeys trying to get their mitts on the sweet bananas. Quiet a few bits used on this one too. Treat cups! Oh what fun these are, fabulous furry felt flowers and I have used stamped leaves from the My Sweet Pea stamp set and more lovely paper from the Paper Stack!

a BONUS PEEK from me.........

I made these toppers for my S10 ladies who also got some lovely ribbon in their baggies too.

Pocket Siloettes, 2 step bird punch, glimmer paint, jeweltry tag and stamp set.... How much excitement can you all take??

Next on the hop is Vannessa so hop on over and see what she has made for your eyes. I will coming along too as I cant wait to see this hop.

Contact your preferred demo to order these fantastic products from 1st April. And if you have no got a demo yet you of course can contact me and I will be happy to help you. I order each month and sometimes will have an offer so email me for more info on this. Caiden@sky.com

SJ Musings

I recently discovered the talents of SJ Little Musings and whilst I loved her designs I really fell in love when I got my comissioned piece back from her! I asked her to do my boys and milo and mentioned Caiden loved the DS and Harvey loved Milo and dinosaurs.

Here is my picture and please respect that it is a picture designed for me of my kids and not take it and use it yourself. Along with the coloured one I also got a fab line art one so I can print and colour my own boys in! I love how she has got Caidens chubby face, milo cute as can be with Harvey who is always being told "put milo down" as he always wants to carry him. Considering she did this from random photos of the boys seperately this is a fab picture!

http://scrappyfairy.blogspot.com/ here is the link to her blog and she really is very reasonable with her pricing

She also does Digital images, Freebies ect so do take time to check her out :)
