Edited to add ** Opps bad blogger didn't post this when it was supposed to. I am sorry about that!
Something for the boys this week and I decided to choose "William Wizard" stamp. This an old design from Francoise but fab for those kids that love Harry Potter and the like.
Along with this stamp I used :
Woodware Star punch Yellow one, the Whoop De doo paper pad (I like this one don't I?) and of course lots of crystal stickles glue.

Crafts U Love demo day
Yesterday Crafts U Love launched their new paper room and classroom and we a had a demonstration event to celebrate. Here are some photos of the cards I made. Haven't had time to adjust photos so they aren't the best.
Beautiful Hero Art scene stamp - this went down a storm!
I LOVE this Mimi card :) I cut her off her bauble and added her
to this Marianne star circle die.
Using STAMP AND BOND powder and glitter this
proved a huge hit.
Penny Black Mimi meets Nellie Frame
Another Mimi, a cuttlebug embossing folder and some twine
Another Mimi and another Embossing Folder
I adore this Mimi Image
This Mimi was glittered the same as the Hero image
Can you guess what this box was made from?
And this one?
Here is a side view
And another view..... it was made from the Sizzix Envelope die!
Another cute Mimi
And a Halloween pail
That's all folks! All materials from Crafts U Love

Colours of Autumn - Woodware Challenge
Today is another Woodware challenge share for me. This weeks challenge theme was "Colours of Autumn"
I chose to use the Woodware Patchwork Owl set for the focal point for my card.
Paper pieced the whole of the owl with different patterned papers from the Whoop De Doo paper stack in
autumnal shades of browns and greens.
I stuck the circle design onto a square card that I had stamped with the Stampendous
Spring Sprigs stamp.
I love this owl set, there are two owls you can use and I love the fact that the wings are separate and you
you pose them in different places.
Please check out the other DT cards. Link a the the very top bar on my blog tabs.

Congrats Hedgehog
Last night when I made my Good Luck Hedgie card I also stamped and coloured an extra image. This came in handy when I needed a card for my Niece Kiera. She was getting an award at her old school today.
Another super simple card .
Good Luck Hedgehog
A special friend of mine is embarking in something new today. I wanted to make a little card for her to wish her luck. Here is a very very simple card.
I used a Penny Black Hedgehog stamp, I have had this one for years and years and I still love it. The banner is a die from the Nestie Pennant set and the wording is a Stampin Up! stamp.
I am going to enter this into the Penny Black Official challenge blog to share your Critters
and also the Charisma Cardz Blog too as their challenge is sky

Woodware Challenge - Sugar and Spice
This weeks theme is Sugar and Spice and I have enjoyed seeing the other ladies interpretations of this theme :) I immediately thought of cooking (like Jane) and I remembered this cute Changito set that I have got called "Changito Baker". I seem to have a lot of this cute monkey! Reminds my of my cheeky monkey boys!
I teamed this up with the Whoop De Doo paper stack, some markers and a bit
of Glitter Glue and "viola" a simple but effective way of giving a gift of homemade cookies
Now had my kitchen not look like a building site with cooker literally on the floor and
NO worktops I might have ventured into making some cookies, BUT Tesco
cookies had to do for this photo shoot! We are hoping that our kitchen will be finished in a
week or so and our new cooker ordered so we can have a go and make some cookies.

I coloured her with Copics. The lovely sparkle is brought to you by using Stampendous Shaved Ice. I also used the Martha Stewart Cherish Punch. All these items can be purchased from where I work. www.craftsulove.co.uk We have a demonstration event on Saturday 24th September to celebrate and open the brand new Paper Room and Classroom. I will be demonstrating Penny Black, Woodware and Hero Arts stamps, would be lovely to see you :)

Woodware Design Team Sketch time
This week with Woodware its back to normal schedule and we have a sketch for you this week.
here is the sketch we followed
And here is my card. I used the Francoise Spooky Tots set from the newest set of releases. I used an oval of card as a mask and brayered over two shades of purple. When I pulled off the oval I coloured the main image. Added stitching and the bats were my interpretation of the strip that was on the sketch.

Woodware/Dreamweaver Blog Hop
Welcome to Woodware's first Blog hop! and we have a give away too! We are really happy to be joining with the Dream it up team to bring you innovative ways to use our wonderful Dreamweaver stencils and supplies all week long! By the end of the week, you'll have seen stencils used in inspirational ways you just couldn't have imagined, and you'll see that, although our stencils are wonderful for paper crafting, they have SO MANY other uses too! We'll have several posts a day for you, from Monday August 29th to Saturday September 3rd. At the end of our celebration, each designer will randomly select a winner from all blog comments to receive a free Dreamweaver stencil. We look forward to you partying along with us!
Eeekkk!! the hop starts with me along with 3 other ladies today and continues all week
Here's my entry for today:
Eeekkk!! the hop starts with me along with 3 other ladies today and continues all week
Here's my entry for today:
As a stamper and dabbling in punches and die cut stencil embossing is an unknown territory. Having had a little "go" many (like 18) years ago when I first started crafting it has come a long way with the introduction to beautiful designs, stencil paste and in my eyes the best thing, being able to do a beautiful embossed picture like this with a turn of a handle. Using a die cutting machine and the mats required its literally that easy!
I fell in love with this beautiful butterfly stencil Dreamweaver Three Butterflies LL591. I chose to decorate a book and this hard backed book was just £1 for 2 in Poundland :) I ran the stencil through the Big Shot machine and kept the stencil in place, using various colours in inkpads and some stencil brushes I added the colour. And lastly I dabbed glitter glue onto it too.
I hope you have enjoyed my post and enjoy the week! I know I cant wait to see what has been done by all the others :)

Yesterdays Create and Take
Yesterdays Create and Take at Crafts U Love was made by me :) Usually the very talented Suzie Q and Paula Baughan design these cards but with Suzie Q off on her holiday I was asked to have a go. I do hope the ladies enjoyed my festive patchwork card.
Monday marks the start of a very special Woodware and ???? blog hop!!
I have used the Woodware Patchwork Dove for this card. Along with the Woodware Holly, Star and Square punches. A little bit of paper piecing on the birds wing and body and its done :)
A couple of funny pictures to share. Myself and friend Karen went to another friends house last
night for girlie chat and Big Brother watching. Trisha told us we had to come dressed as Jedward
this was the closest we were going to get!! LOL Harvey modelling this mask for me ;0)
Also yesterday afternoon Harvey and I did a bit of soapmaking with a kit
he got and we made this lovely "Brain and Finger" soap!!

Woodware Funny Folds
Today its my turn at the Woodware blog for Funny Folds. Now folds can be making cards or as I have chosen a box. Now I got this fab box from the Splitcoast Stampers website and in their resources section. I was thinking of making tutorial for it but figured their instructions are fantastic and "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
So here is the link for what they call the A2 card box. This box could quiet happily hold 6 cards and envelopes and would make and lovely gift.
When I saw the Woodware New Releases the stamp set that made me "squeak" with excitement (literally) was the little Garden Gnomes Clear Magic set FRCL202 and also the Woodland and Mushroom house. All that colouring opportunity!

So I went about making my box following the instructions. And had such fun decorating it.
Here I have used the gnome, the ribbon border cassette to make a cute little fence, daisies and gems
Here you can see I have used the wheelbarrow and mushroom (fairy tots set) to decorate the
edges of the box.
Now for the real fun! And I made 4 cards to go inside the box.
My plans were to make more but as with any time you have plans the kids often have plans of their
own and Harvey didn't feel well so I had to sit with him instead of making more cards. Still
this gives you a general idea on how wonderful this set is!!
Check in tomorrow to see what Debbie has made
