Demonstration at Crafts U Love tomorrow

I am going to Crafts U Love tomorrow for a Forever Friends demo. These bears are adorable! If you are around, come and say Hello. I will be teamign these up with flock, papers and punches.

Also should be getting some Lucia and Santa tomorrow from Sirstampalot so hope to get time to play this Sunday!

13th - 16th November is a date for your diary. I will be at the NEC in Birmingham at the Stampin Up! stand on Sunday. Do come and say Hello and see what SU has to offer. I am really looking forward to going to this show, its HUGE!

Happy Halloween everybody

That was the chant Harvey was saying as he walked down the stairs. At least today I know we have a few projects we can do... We will be making some bats, carving our pumpkin and hanging out our spider web. He loves it.... cant imagine why eh? Something to do with the bucket of sweets he ends up with!

We'll be out later trick or treating. We dont trick.. we only go to houses that have halloween goodies displayed.

I wish to one day go over to the USA for Halloween would be fantastic!

I love Forrest Gump and this title is simular to his Stupid is as Stupid does saying... well this is me tonight... SIMPLE... just cant get my mojo working and despite the fact this little penguin is soooo cute I am simply unable to do any more.. kinda cute, kinda simple but sometimes thats all we can handle right?

Had a lovely morning with Mum and boys at Tilgate park, we were out for 4 hours, maybe thats why my mojo has gone? tired?! Here are a few photos. Milo was at home with Uncle Robert and Kiera as Harvey wanted to see the animals at Tilgate and we couldnt take him along... I dont think his little legs would have taken the LONG walk.. I know mums didnt ;0)

Peace on Earth

Now when I coloured in this bauble in light blue I suddenly saw the earth so I added a bit of green (and nope its nothing like the real earth) but I couldnt find a good enough picture of the earth to kinda copy so I just stuck a bit of green on it. Now I havent seen anyone do this with this yet so I am hoping that maybe I had an orginal idea ;0) Its nice to feel I might inspire others, whereas I feel others inspire me most of the time, I can pass this idea along.

The snowflakes are Magnolia too and are actually blossoms. Wording is PC generated, ribbon SU and I pulled the stitching to ruffle it up a bit... yummy choc chip! The main images I got from Crafts U Love after they cruely called me Friday to tell me they had some new stamps in. I think these sold out within hours but they have re ordered already. Also the usual suppliers will be getting theirs in soon too.. Usually Magnolia will hit one store first and then the others (glitter Pot and Sirstampalot follow soon) its a race between the three bestest (my opinion) stores who gets them in first and no one will know who coz its Magnolia who decides!! so check out http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/, http://www.theglitterpot.co.uk/ and http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/ (in alphabetical order so no favs!) for Magnolia stamps.

Mondays ramblings

Order for the October Stampin' up! paper share has been placed today so I should be cutting it all up later this week. I cant wait to see them!

School holiday today, the clocks messed Harvey's clock up and he was up at 5.30am!! then at 7;30am arguments about why he cant eat crisps at 7;30! Oh the joy... They don't want to stop eating when they are at home... I think I need to go to shops to get some tartar stuff so we can make some play dough and look up how to do paper mache' too and a pack of balloons to make something with that as well.

This weekend was pretty uneventful... went to Crafts U love to meet a friend who I haven't seen for over 2 year and oh my she had lost 9st since I last saw her and she looked fab! also happened to find some NEW Christmas and Winter Magnolias too... Ohh lovely.

Here is a Magnolia card that I have put together this weekend. I coloured the image sometime ago. This is cute little baking tilda.. look she has made a lovely muffin! I got the Muffin Tilda and flowers from http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/ I don't think this is her correct name though... I teamed her up with some Daisy Bucket paper also from Sirstampalot. I wouldn't normally team up these colours but seeing as the paper has the pink, red and blue in it I felt it OK to do the same.

The sentiment is Stampin' Up! and its part of a cute set of wording stamps and they are a HOSTESS only set - by this this means if you spend £150 or more or if you host a party which reaches £150 you will get this set FREE and also £15 of FREE goodies too! SO get a catalogue, a group of friends and host a catalogue party and earn yourself some goodies too... People don't seem to realise that you don't actually have to have a party to earn the goodies just spend the required amount and earn from that. The GREAT thing about these wording stamps is they fit inside the circles and scallops to make some lovely additions to your cards.

Morning Opp's and a card

Harvey went into school today very upset.. Mummy accidentally broke his special box that held his "jewels" that he panned for at Tulleys Farm this summer... He was taking it to school, I noticed his shoes were on the wrong feet, popped him in the car, not realising he had put his beloved treasures in the door and SLAM.. box shattered, stones everywhere and Harvey crying..

So here is my "sorry" box... I emptied all my beads out this box, stamped a Spiral Whisper pirate and wrote "harveys treasure" on the top... Now I wanted to really go to town.. but you know 5 year olds and it would have been picked off, scribbled on ect ect so I left it how it was... Do you think he'll forgive Mummy? A step up from him soap capsule box!

But no time to do it.... I have lots of stamping I need to catch up on Magnolias, Toodles and Binks, Spiral Whisper to name just three... anyway I had a chance to colour and I did these... figured these are better than nothing.

I am meeting with some of my Stampin Daysies, part of my SU downline group and we are doign a shoebox swap, so hopefully tomorrow I can show you 4 projects I made tonight ;0)

Magnolia coloured with Prismacolour... I am in practise for the coloursoft pencils I have ordered from The Glitter Pot not bad for a handful of goes at these pencils - Prismacolour are not readily available in the UK so I am getting the coloursoft so I am able to use these for demos ect in UK stores.

To share from Saturdays fun classes at the Glitter Pot... Oh what fun we had, lovely bunch of ladies and very productive we were ;0) Blogger drives me nuts with the photo and text editing as I wanted to write about each card but its playing about so I will just tell you there were some fluffles, changito, hero and Forever Friends stamps used... The spiral was the inside of the card with the teddy on. bit of a WOW inside ;0)

Spiral Whisper - Stamp of the week

Here is this weeks SOTW one day late! Sorry!!

I used the trees which is the stamp of the week to make a lovely background... this will work with so many stamps out there and Joel would have looked lovely with this one too. I sprinkled Diamond Dust on glue, EK punched snowflakes, SU papers and the cute little Spiral Whisper puppy with garland...

I have my cards from Saturday to show off later today.. better get ready for school now.

Also go a lot of new Magnolias to cram in too!

Meet Joel!

Isn't he adorable? Those eyes are to die for.....





Kay dropped Joel off Friday evening whilst I was at work. He is one of two stamps from Toodles & Binks and currently I am one of a very few people that have him! You can get yours too at http://www.stampgalaxy.co.uk/ and whilst there check out their new Zoomz!! beautiful gold and silver ones as used on the card too. The papers/Card/ Punches are Stampin' Up!

Toodles and Binks stamps are made from red rubber and come unmounted. I know they will be stocking U mount soon too. I personally much prefer rubber and U mount than clear and am starting to think about storage issues again... Hpw dod you store yours? I think I need to start a T&B folder for mine. Currently with my Magnolias I have them in folders, two for tildas, one for edwins and one for accessories but not sure if this is the best way to store them or not!

Me to you rubber stamps

Seen a few cards made lately with the Me to You bear (tatty ted) does anyone know who sells these?? Love this little bear....

Edited to add it seems there is no official maker of these rubber stamps and that someone had been making them without permission (oops) so I guess I will have to wait and see if they follow suite of the Forever Friends range... can wish cant we ;0) There is a USA company that has one bear but these werent the images I saw cards made with.

Stop by for a spell....

I made this card using the cute Tilda with Thistle stamp. I got it from Crafts U Love... not sure if they have stock still as they have sold a lot recently. I know Sir Stamp alot have their delivery in too.

Card is nothing special but you know I love these Magnolias and I adore colouring with the promarkers too. I used the silver promarker to draw on the lines of her dress and the webbed part at the bottom. The wording is Stampendous. I made the flowers using the Stampin' Up! Scalloped circle and I used the FAB scalloped border on the bottom of the brown. Buttons from Eternal Maker. The green cardstock, patterned paper is SU too... so a real mix of stuff.

Busy week, got two classes at Glitter Pot Saturday.. are you coming? Got some fun cards to make... little bit of fluffles, little but of Changito, little bit of Forever Friends, little bit of Hero too!

Stampin Up Paper Share

I am here... thanks for all the people helping me to find these punches.... for those that sent me ebay links... thanks for that,...but ideally I am after a USA "angel" who will buy the punches for me and not charge me $25-$30 a piece!! LOL I am pleased to say I have found someone who will buy them for me... charge me what she paid and we are going to do a part pay and part trade thing for Spiral Whisper stamps! ;0) Thanks Simone!! thats if she can find them... but if she cant find them right away I am happy to wait ;0)

Here is a card I made, Yes a card! I made one... it seems like forever.. really missing it just so hard right now with Caiden ect. I dont really like the card, too unbalanced.. I was working with the stash I have up at the house and not had the right stuff really. I felt like playing with my Autumn Magnolia images and promarkers. I made the flower with the Stampin' Up! scalloped circle and I made the faux ric rac with the Stampin' Up! scalloped border.

Spiral Whisper - Challenge - Sketch

Spiral Whisper had another sketch for their challenge and I got this stamp yesterday and just had to ink it up. I saw this image and thought of my boys, apart from their longer hair this is my boys to the T. Caiden being the younger chubbier one and Harvey the bigger and skinny one.. Too cute!

Caiden had his MMR last week. last night he was burning up big time... managed to strip him off, dose him up before we had another febrile convulsion on ours hands. Today we have a quiet day inside.

I used the Sprial Whisper stamp, Stampin' Up! Well I did wash up, tidy a little ect

So here is another card for today. CC Designs again from http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ this is very sweet and look, the bear is eating my fav flavour, Mint Choc Chip!

I love these little chaps! I love the monkeys big Ol' Monkey ears! There are a few phrases to go with these little lovelies but they just didnt look right on the card so I left them off.

I coloured these in the other night so I am quiet pleased with how they look as I have a pink light in my bedroom so its always a surprise if I pick the right colours!

The papers and Doodlebug and from Dies to Die for and the flower is on I made with the Stampin' Up! scallop punch.

Should be washing up....

But I wanted to share this card with you that I made last night. I used the CC designs set from http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ and Doodlebug paper also from Dies to Die for. This is an ADORABLE set!! With the cold outside I wanted to share something to give us a warm and fuzzy feeling!!
