My PC is on its way out... every day it hangs and freezes more and more and it wont be long before it dies. Now I wanted to tell you if I go awol suddenly you know why! If it does happen we will try and get another PC but it depends on funds so it might not be for a while.
I will probably pop onto mums a few times a week. But wanted to pre warn you!
Fingers crossed it wont happen until we can sort another PC out... but I think not

Just a wee tip..I'm sure you have already saved everything on disk but try defragmenting it. This can help speed things up and stop it freezing. My hubbie does this every few months. Next tip is to save absolutely everything on disk..then totally wipe your computer back to like when you bought it with NOTHING stored on it. The slowlt start to reinstall things bit by bit. A lot cheaper than a new PC and did wonders for our slow and old PC. If you have any more questions feel free to ask and I can ask hubbie and can tell me more detailed instructions!

Hi Caz - eeek... However, you should have an option to carry out a health check on your PC....this will tidy up the files/compress where needed....there is also a bit of software that can do this. But obviously don't blame me if it goes wrong - ha...
Also, you may need to consider upgrading your operating system to Vista or equivalent - makes everything work more efficiently... (but again, dont blame me - hee)...Oooh - the wonders of technology xx
Hi Caz, sorry to hear about your pc, I hope you get a bit longer out of it . Also sorry it took me so long to come and answer the question you asked me about the water colour technique. Just to let you know I've made a video which is here and I hope it gives an impression of how it's done. Your blog is great, love all the little cards you've made, so cute and very useful! Chris x
Hey Caz...I was getting Blue Screen of Death daily and crashes too. A friend of mine turned me on to www.ubuntu.com. It's a Linux based operating system. There's a learning curve, but my PC runs like a race car now and its 4 years old. My laptop still has Win XP for my cricut, creative memories, etc. but I LOVE LINUX...check it out. It's better than buying new equipment.
If you need a windows based, check out ebay. Lots of decent ones for cheap!
Think it must be the weather Caz, mine is making funny clicking noises and taking forever to load.
Hope you are keeping warm. ;0)
fingers crossed for you, have you tried posting a 'wanted' on freecycle? Our local group has had quite a few pc's recently.
