Worrying night

Caiden hasnt been well for a few days, Hot, sick, coughing ect... had a REALLY bad night last night, he was sick on me last night and this morning, hot all night.. so now I have a few hours to decide if my trip to NEC to work sunday is doomed.

What would you do?

Edited to add I have removed my list of bellas, someone thought it were rude of me, it wasnt meant for random strangers to buy me stuff, more a list for hubby to choose from for birthday and also serve as a reminder on the ones I wanted. Sorry to have offended - I have seen these on many blogs before and never thought much of it

A few cards to share

These were to be in the Beautiful Cards magazine that came out this week but unfortunately for me the wording that I sent the magazine didnt get there, they had been emailing me on the wrong email and so these were left out the magazine. Really sad coz I thought they were quiet nice cards and also I dont get any money and we were really counting on that coming this month ;(

So I thought I may as well share them with you. If you enjoy seeing my cards in the magazines drop them an email saying so as there are so many designers now that I dont seem to get many comissions and you never know I might be in some more next year ;0)

A little bag to share

I made this the other week for the make and take at one of my SU parties. I used the fantastically versatile Season of Joy set which as well as Christmas gifts makes lovely all year round things too... Simply change the colours to more seasonal ones to make a cute little bag.

The base was made using white copy card and stamped with Bashful Blue, Pritty in pink and Certainly Celery. I also made one of these little bags this weekend at The Glitter Pot and it went down well there. If people are interested in a little tutorial for this let me know and I will try and hunt down the video I saw, either that or I will make one myself.. I am due to do another actually really disappointed with the flip video I brought for myself earlier in the year, the software wont work on my PC and the flip video always freezes, so I will stick with my regular digital camera in video mode.

Getting ready for my Sunday at NEC

I am at the NEC this Sunday with Stampin' Up! where you can come and have a chat with us and find out all about SU. No doubt blog readers of mine will know by now! We have been asked to wear the same sort of clothes so we all look smart and uniform. So I was wondering what necklace to wear. Well a SU! one of course..... Bet you didnt know they did necklaces eh? Well with a little inspiration and products you can make one too.

Materials Used :

Hodgepodge Kit, Fire Jewelled Brad, True Friend Rubber stamps, Dazzling Diamonds, white card, Ruby Red ink.

Needed a few misc jewelry bits, jump rings, clasp bits and thin leather. Not bad eh? and image and brad can be changed easy enough.

Cards from Crafts U Love class

Had a lovely Magnolia class at Crafts U Love the other day. here is what we made.

I used a variety of Tildas. I can never remember the name to be honest I think each shop calls them something slightly different.

I had a fun evening and I think they all did too.

Been REALLY busy this week.

Got some more cards to share today, will post seperately. Also have 2 classes at Glitter Pot tomorrow so will have some lovely Penny Black cards to share too (lovely in that the stamps are lovely, not that I am saying my cards are!)

Magnolia are also starting to ship out their winter club kits and apparently they are not the same as ones released so far, although I havent read that bit officially myself. Glad they are shipping thought as we are in November now and need to use these stamps!

Got a SU party this morning... Mum is looking after Caiden. Class tomorrow night at Crafts U Love using Magnolias ;0) Infact November is a pritty hectic crafting month what with other classes, NEC, school sale night (for which I havent made a thing!) I will try and post as much as I can thought, but if I go awol you know why

Demo cards from Crafts U Love

Had a lovely demo time yesterday at Crafts U Love. Weather was terrible, raining most of the day, still we had some visitors braving the elements and I made a few cards and some bag/box things. I also used the lovely Forever Friends stamps, flock and showed people how to make flowers from the scalloped punches.
