March? where did that come from!

March already, cant believe it. 1st March marks my Harveys 7th Birthday and he had a lovely day yesterday :) Above is the card I made for him, a dinosaur hunter noless! Harvey loves (as you may know) dinosaurs, fossills and science and he got some lovely pressies yesterday. A dinosaur quilt cover, telescope, 4 lovely sciencey books, army torch and compass, a new bike, swimming lessons and some other bits and bobs. He cycled to school today. Wasnt too bad actually and what a beautiful sunny day.

I have a Tuesday at home and I love it! My course has finished and I have Tuesdays back. This weekend was a hard one. Worked all day Saturday then came home for 1 hour and then off to Beaver sleepover, 1 hours sleep that night and then work again Sunday. I felt very rough all day and yesterday too but today I feel more or less normal. The kids did great though, they are only 5 3/4 - 8 years, most are 6 and nearly 7 with only a few older ones. Most it would have been the first time away from their parents. Fun was had by all!

20 Minutes before I pick Woo up so I am going to stamp some little pads for Harveys party bags. He has a party at Pizza Hut and a make you own pizza party on Sunday. FUN!

A card

I made this card on Monday, it was the last day of the school holiday. By all accounts a bad day as I had a few mishaps involving various things hitting me on the head! Firstly was about 300 nails hitting me on the head when I tried to look for some screws in a little tool box on top of the kitchen cupboards. Then a very heavy class vase hit me on the head when I was doing a bit of DIY and forgot the vase was there. Made me feel very giddy for quiet a while! When I finally felt better I made this card.

The stamps are from Kaisercraft via work. I love that the flower match the SU 5 petal flower punch almost exactly. Not a usual "me" card but I love it!

Crafty time in my house today. Here is Caiden showing off his artwork. The scribble is his, the other scribble that vaguely looks like something (a camel) is mine. He saw me taking a picture of Harvey and wanted in in the photoshoot :)

Here is MY Ruby with all her scrumptious glory on show. I LOVE her. Such a cute image. The papers are My Mind eye, Yum eh? The embossed folder is a new one at work. It isnt cuttlebug make but embosses sooo well. The flowers are punches and words are by a friend called Paula Pascal, fab eh? This is a little card for me. Usually I prefer 6 x 6 but she was so adorable I felt she needed centre stage and also I didnt want to use my lovely yellow cardstock! LOL so saved myself an inch :)

House Mouse stamps seem to be popping back into vogue and I have dusted a few of my fav designs off recently ready to ink... will be sure to show you when I have made something.

The card was made using the Crazy for Cupcakes set - its a fab set and I used the scallop punch to take a bite from the cake. I saw this fab idea on Splitcoast stampers.

Personal note, got a cold. So far one sides nostril, sneezy cold. Just taken some tablets and will off to bed soon. Kids have one more day off school as they have inset day tomorrow so I have one last day with them. off to town tomorrow to get a few bits for shopping.

Frog Prince?

I saw this cute stamp at work the other day and fell in love. I used to collect frogs years ago and I guess you can say I still have a soft spot for them!

Lilli of the Valey card

Rubbish picture as the lighting is so bad. I used Nellie Punches from work. Paper and card is from Stampin' Up! although the design is a retired one. I coloured her with watercolour crayons. Cute image is from Lili of the Valley. I knew I was in trouble when I saw their new designs.

Greeting Farm - Relay

Not long now for the Greeting Farm relay. Basically they have given everyone Sundays image for FREE, you then make a card, upload (following their rules) and then if u have done it correctly you get another image emailed to you. The first image HAS to be loaded by 6pm CST and then then next (which I have already had emailed to me) has to be loaded by 6pm CST tomorrow. If you miss a day you wont get any more you have to play along for the week. At the end of it we if we have played all week will end up with about 5 images. I have beavers tonight and its bring a pet night, I have visions of Hairy Mclarys Rumpus at the vets! We are taking Mad Milo with us... The beaver leader Tictac is taking some chickens for those kids that dont have a pet!! LOL I dont know if I ever told you but my beaver name is "Rusty"
