Chick, Chick, Chick, Chick Chicken!

Lay a little egg for me :)

My neighbour is rescuing 3 chickens from their life in hell in a battery farm.  She gets them today so I made this little welcome for them.  She has a adorable chicken coup and all the gear.  They will be in a very sorry state when they get here.  No feathers (or certainly lacking)  never seen daylight and not being able to walk :(

It will take some time but I will look forward to the time they start getting better and living a happy life.

Had a fantastic holiday.  Utterly exhausted after it!  Anyone done Butlins with 2 kids will understand.
Have a stinking cold right now so feeling very rough but lots of cards to make for lots of friends who are celebrating their birthdays this week. Also the shop I have been selling my cards at has sold quiet a few of mine so that's great news, few little pennies to spend.

A card before the off and the Show me Sunday Winner

I scanned the card and it has bleached the white card base out so much you cant even see it! But it is mounted onto a white base.  This adorable Penny Black stamp was made using the FREE SET that I chose for being a Penny Black winner on their blog.  Thought it was about time for sharing and inking.

We're off to butlins today for 4 nights.  The kids are going to love it.  Everything is packed (I think).

Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow... Opps I mean White!

Loving the Black and Yellow song, so couldn't help singing that whilst making my black and white card.  That was this weeks challenge on the Woodware Blog.

I don't mind admitting it was a struggle for me as you know how much I love BRIGHT colours but I just about managed. :)

The stamp I used for the main image is a Magenta Stamp .  I do for some reason have soft spot for little birdie images.

The flowers in the background and Hello are a Jane Gill stamp set from Woodware, as are the flowers, ribbon, glitter glue ect ect all woodware apart from the Nestie.

Simple is the way to go

These are packed up ready to take to Rocket & Fairydust a lovely little shop here in Merstham that sell all sorts of handmade goodness as well as a few of my cards.  Keeping the cards really simple and selling for just £1.50 - I am also making hand made bunting for the shop too.  Have had 3 orders this past week, not from the store just through my blog here and facebook too :)

Simple Frames

I painted and stamped these frames the other day to go with the girly sets I made.  These were special little birthday gifts for 4 little girls.

Very delicate stamping on these you can hardly see it.

Harvey was invested into cub scouts last night.  Very proud.  This was him after the investment with his new green woggle and cub jumper.

I've made quiet a few cards lately in my shed at night but as its so late the photos are coming out really bad. My cards in the local shop have been selling well so I am really pleased about that.  Just need to keep on making them.
