A few things
Yep, regular readers will know I am rubbish at spelling and grammar and I really don't have the time to think about it too much as these posts are usually done very quickly in grabbed moments. Mostly a place to share my cards and ignore my waffle but I am glad Kate pointed out the error on my Teacher tickets and I have replaced the file. Thanks for that Kate!!
Here are a few pictures to share.
Card for Teachers, complete with ticket with error! Will have to replace ticket tomorrow before I "try" and sell it.
These are cards I made for Father's Day. DAD was made with Cricut Robotz font I LOVE this font. And the dog was a digi image from Pollycraft. I added the football after, I thought with Fathers Day being so close to the World Cup the dog would look cute with a England cross on his shirt.
Oh well, very tired tonight so will sign off now.

I am making teacher and Ta cards now
More tickets
These again match the EK punch on the largest one. "when" I get time I aim to design so they can all be punched in one go. ie a small med and large sentiment. But that wont be for a while. June looks to be full on.

Who stole the cheese
Just a quicky as I really need to get kids ready for school and me work. I made this with the Create a Critter cartridge the other day.
Toooooo Cute!
Here are a few photos from our Beaver Family Day to a local wildlife place called "Beaver Waterworld" a small rescue place where they rescue reptiles and also have beavers there too.
Great to handle these Monitor Lizards and snakes!!

Create a Critter part 2
Here are a couple of critter cards I have been making using the Cricut Design Studio that I got for my birthday, oh what fun I am having and it brings 2 of my favourite things together, making cards and doing stuff on the PC. I used the weld feature to make these shaped cards.
The beehive was welded to a square and then I welded a bee to the hive. They take a bit of working out but worth it when it works and you can save your files so once you have designed a card you can keep it :)
I used this fun puppy to make a shaped card. I welded and flipped the puppy to make the card. Lots of inking the edges, crystal effects shiney nose and a Stampin Up! ribbon tie. I tell you it took some working out to remember HOW to tie a tie!! LOL
It was my birthday Weds, had a lovely day. Here is a little collage of my handmade cards and a a couple of the pressies I got. Flowers are from Mum and Darren (SHOCK HORROR - this does not usually happen)
Crafty goodies from work friends, beautiful handmade card and book from Julie WOW. Mum had made me macaroni cheese for tea and we had a cake and candles :)

Creating Critters
Been having fun creating critters this weekend (between work and family time)
Here are two cards made with these ADORABLE cut outs.
Harvey asked me to make a bug for him and then promptly went off and left me making it. So I used it
to make this card.
I hope you had a nice weekend?

Someday my prince will come
AS I seem to have a "thing" for frogs I couldnt resist this cute Tilda from the Fairytale collection and picked this up from work earlier in the week. Now if I had a girl their bedroom would be all pink, shimmery and dreamy. I a really pleased how this card came out.
Tilda from work
Colouring with distress inks
Punches are woodware make ( plum shape)
Stamps for background are Vintage Vogue from Stampin' Up! (me)
cardstock is from the pastels pack of card (Soft Subtles) from Stampin Up! some of these colours are retiring so stock up now!
Paper rose - made by me - made using flower from Vintage Vogue set and dipped in Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Was tempted to load up the card with a whole bunch of stuff but left it as is, you know me and simple.

Ahoy! shipgirls
I made this last night. A right mix of stuff. I coloured her with Stampin Up! ink pads, using the top of the inkpads as a pallette. Gives the same effect as distress inks I think.
Stamp is Magnolia. I have used a few retiring colours for the wheeling around the tilda image. I told you I am loving the new vintage wheel and its great for just "grunging" up something. The gold thing is supposed to be a pirate coin and I made it by layering up gold embossing powder and stamping into it when hot with a SU stamp again.
Righto off to work. Now working 2 days in week and Saturdays too. Hours less in the days but means I can fo school runs.
Oh and the paper is the new Sweet Pea paper stack from SU too. My new fav papers.

Rain Rain go away
What a horrible day it has been. Raining most of the day and kids climbing the walls. Anyway, I watched Avatar today, we brought it last week but hadnt had a chance to watch it. WOW it was fantastic. Amazing graphics and a good story too. So pleased it ended how I wanted it too ;)
I made a card today, I used my new Lilli of the Valley stamp and also a few flower stamps from a Stampendous set. I thought the cute bear would look cute with some large flowers behind him. I used my Stampin Up! ink pads to colour this in and also used my Glimmer Paint to make my own shimmer spray. The beautiful flower is Prima. The words are from the same Stampendous set and the punch is the Word Window punch from SU. Oh and I cant forget the edge punch that is the Martha Flourish punch which took my a few months to track down!
Also here are some quick boxes that I made using the Vintage Vogue stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the matching wheel. Not at all my usual style, however it was so easy to make and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the wheel now and I can see this being used a lot, along with the set too when I am feeling more "grown up".
I have entered the above into the Lili of the valley challenge blog http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
Have a great bank holiday weekend!
