Exciting Design Team news!!

I am thrilled to say that I have been offered a place on a brand new design team starting in May. Woodware Craft Collection is a name you are bound to have heard of. With their own fun range of stamps and them distributing Stampendous Stamps and Artemio in the UK as well as many other things.... more info as I get it :)


I have been looking at getting onto a design team for a little while, something I can get throw myself into to get regular cards and back to my old blogging days when it was a post a day (at least) with something to hopefully inspire you!


I hope you enjoy my time with them, as much as I am sure I will enjoy doing it.

A house mouse card

I made this card for my Hubby. We are celebrating our 11th Wedding Anniversary and our 22nd Anniversary of going out together!  It took us 11 years to tie the knot and we did it on the same date, just one to remember :)

I used a House Mouse stamp, I love the sunny colours.

Happy Easter

Hope you all have a lovely day what ever you are doing.  We are having a bar-be-cue, just hope the gas lasts as we should have got more really!  In the UK we have been blessed with lovely weather during the school holidays and its been 10 deg more than average for this time of year!  next week its back to school and the temperatures are set to tumble to more normal temps which will be a shock to the system!

Snatched a very quick card making session in my Palace today when the kids were playing on the Wii earlier.  Made this quick cutie card.  For some reason... I don't know why but I have two of these stamps! So.......

Another hour

in my Palace last night and I made this cute card using one of my new Hanglar stamps.  They are now shipping overseas! and I ordered it last Thursday and it came Saturday, fantastic service!

The grass was a punch from Martha Stewart from work as was the Tulle and the New Paula Pascal stamp

Enjoying it

I am LOVING my shed is moved.  I think I have been in it more since its been moved than I was in 3 years!  I pop in a out in the day for a few minute with the kids off its hard to grab more than that.  But I am able to sit out for a hour or two in the evenings, got my TV on, mostly on DVD (mostly Twilight and New Moon) as the aeriel is pretty rubbish and I can get to everything, its all there in one cosy little shed!  We've almost got the kids area fenced off, Milo is a but miffed about it and keeps poking his head through the picket fencing.   but he still has enough room to run and around and play, it will be fab for the kids to have a clean and separate place to play in.

Tomorrow at Crafts U Love I have designed this cute little project for the kids Create and Takes.  11am - 2pm  Just pop in if you are bringing a group please give us a ring before so we know how many are coming.  Last week we had 8 turn up a the beginning so maybe come at 12 or later?!  Costs £3 for the kids  - Paula tells me these little pots wont be going home empty, *wink *wink with Easter on its way there might be a little something sweet inside :)

Vinyl Fun

I have been needing to cut some vinyl for a project for my Uncle and his mini ride on train that he is running this summer (pictures to follow) and whilst I had the vinyl out for that I thought I would have a little play and make a couple of things for my shed window which is one of the less pretty side windows.  I used my Hoot & Holler Cricut cartridge for this.

I only have 3 colours of vinyl so they are a bit boring.

Cute eh?  I am sure once I have some green vinyl I will be adding some 

leaves and branches and maybe some flowers too :)

A project

I decorated these pots which I am using to store my bakers twine reels in.  I got them from Poundland and they hold garden string.  Needless to say I am now drowning in garden string!! But I couldn't resist these pots.

Been adding some vinyl to my windows.  Stampin Up! butterflies cut with my

Sizzix machine.  

Also have a new addition to my shed, my early Birthday pressie

Can I be excused?

Sorry for my lack of posts... but I have been a wee bit busy.  Emptying my Crafty Palace, moving the entire contents into my front room and then getting the Palace moved up the garden and then putting everything back!

I believe the pictures can tell the story better....

In some ways I don't think the photos show the full extent of what stuff I had to move

out and then in again!!  But its fantastic where it it.  I have NO craft stuff in the house

and now the Palace is there I am much more likely to use it as its not down

the bottom of the garden.  I made my first card last night, I sat in there making a card

and I could see hubby sitting on the sofa playing his X box.  Kids were in bed... bliss!

I am going to have an open house soon, once my Palace is moved and I will sort everything back in.  its all going to be silly prices, I just want lots of stuff re housed and USED and very sorry onliners but I dont have the time to list it all, unless people wanted to buy grab bags of stamps for X amount....
