Enjoy Life

I am doing as this stamp says and enjoying life. Am here in the sun in Spain with my Hubby, kids, Mum and in Laws. They had a good splash in the pool and it was FREEZING! I went in up to my knees. Maybe tomorrow?

I have made 4 cards so far. Its fun as its kinda of like a limited supplies challenge as I only brought a few bits.

Here is the first card.

Stamps are Stamping Bella from Dies to Die for, the paper, punch and colouring items are Stampin Up!

Speak later, gotta catch some sun.

Beddy Byes

My boys went beddy byes early so Mummy got to play! Here is what I did.

You know I went to Crafts U Love last night and I was making a candle with the cute Whipper Snapper girl... well this little girly was calling me "Caz, take me home, Psssst, Caz, let me come and play in your palace" Well of course I couldnt ignore her plea. So along with my new bag (see below) she came to live a happy life with the other stamps in my Palace.

So tonight when I went to the Palace I heard her again "Caz, ink me up, go on, you know you want to. Oi! Caz, do ya hear me?!" So I gave in and made a card. I teamed her up with my scalloped Nestie (The Glitter Pot), the pumpkin pie paper (Stampin' Up!) Word Circle (Stampin Up!) and the paper is Stampin' Up! too. A few beautiful flowers and a Bellas Bauble for the middle.

Hope you like?

Oh and before I go, here is the other pesky craft item that made me buy it last night! Look at all those pencils... it fab it holds all my pencils, waterbrushes, scissors, staz on, versafine, creaser, trimmer, cardstock, glue, glitter glue, ruler and more!!

My week

I have been awol for a few days. Monday, well that was fun NOT! I had a wisdom tooth pulled out and it went fine, but today I am really uncomfortable with bruising and pain. Just taken some pills as its making me grumpy.

I had my class last night and that was really nice. Sat on tenterhooks watching the penalties on the footie last night. I wanted Chelsea to win, my Dad, dispite half his family suporting Chelsea and the other half Palace would have probably wanted Chelsea to win too, seeing that its a lot more local to us than Man U.

I got a lovely envelope from Stampin' Up! to congratulate me on going up three levels to Silver one and reaching my Stampin Start Programme. I got 4 certificates and three pins. I want to thank my customers and friends for helping me reach this goal and will be posting a special offer on my SU blog shortly.

Hope I might get into my Palace to craft tonight. I need to sort out what I am taking to Spain with me!

Oh and we might be getting a new addition to our family on Saturday, I will let you know!

Candle Class

I taught my candle class last night at Crafts U Love and we made a cute little candle and basket with a lovely bunch of ladies. Nice and relaxed and fun and we all left with a cute little gift idea.

I used a cute girlie stamp from Whipper Snapper, the flowers from Stampendous and Bo Bunny papers.

Got a busy weekend ahead, we are getting ready for a trip but I think I will have internet access. Lots to get ready. A party to take Harvey to, something to look at and maybe come home with! And I need to pack some crafting supplies. I hope to chat later with you.

Have a great day

A card for today

I went to Crafts U Love today to get some stuff to prep with for my up and coming evening class (this Wednesday) and I chose this stamp to decorate the candle we will be doing but I had to try it out and BOY am I in love... she is ADORABLE! I made this little card using some scrummy paper and a little bit of stitching too... Would have only take me half an hour but Harvey decided to take my bobbin out my machine the other day and it wasnt working properly. I re threaded, re bobbined and turned the tension up and it works fine now.

Coloured with watercolour pencils I got my new white gel pen from Stampin Up! and added the little dots as I have seen it on other peoples blogs and I am trying to be as clever as them! LOL
If you are after a true while pen this is the one for you!

Sneak Peek from the Magnolia summer kit

I clicked onto their blog today and they have a sneak peek from the Summer Stamp kit... She is tooo cute. You can pre order the kit on their blog. Love her clothes, her cute hair and the new angle from the back and her little feet! apparently there is an Edwin on fence too.... I cant wait. I havent ordered a kit before but they seem to be fantastic value.

Cool Dude

He is cool isnt he?? stamp of course is a Magnolia, (soon available from Glitter Pot) coloured with Stampin Up! Crayons, papers are SU, the wording is Craftwork Cards. I have used my sewing machine again and its still fab! I actually did it a lot straighter too.
Poor Caiden has the dreaded sickness and D and I wont go into too much detail but today I changed the WORST nappy I have EVER done today!! YUCK!! Poor lad, I had to put him into the bath to wash him off it was nearly up to his armpits!!!

In love with Stamping...

For a laugh

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=G225yszkhoo

Yesterday

Was a lovely day, weather was beautiful. OK I didnt do anything out of the ordinary, infact I was doing the food shop in the morning, not much in the day, cooked a roast for tea.. that was about it. Coz I had my radio and clothes before my birthday I didnt have a present to open (all together now Awwwww) but I had some money from my brother and also and cheque from sellig a couple of my cricut carts so I went and brought something for me!

I have wanted one of these for ages and I didnt realise they were over here, I got mine from argos for £50. It is FAB!! OK the user needs practise but I can see this being used lots! Its small, it WORKS which is more than I can say for the 3 provo ones I have had.
Yesterday I also got a fab little toy that I won off ebay USA. My funky pink flip! So now I can play about with that and maybe make some tutorials. I did one, but I watched it and learnt from it, I adjusted the placement ect, so I was re filming it and then BANG BANG BANG on my shed door and Harvey was there. He came in and I said to be quiet and I started again...needless to say I had a giggling boy and by then I was too! LOL I must say I HATE MY VOICE.
Right got to go and wake the boys.
Later!

Monday, May 12

Flippin' good fun!

I was sitting here thinking what a waste of a nap, so I whizzed down to the Palace and made this with one of my new Stampendous monkeys. I used my watercolour crayons to colour it in, I used the Earth Elements set this time to show you that you dont really need all the sets to get on. Earth Elements has a lovely selection of browns, greens and has a nice red and pink too!

The papers are SU, the brown is UK, but the green sadly not UK (yet) well we can hope cant we ;0)

Later!

Lovely day for it..

Whatever "it" maybe.. its a lovely sunny day and I am another year older. Today 12th May is my birthday, its also 5 months since my wonderful Dad passed away. My mum got a lovely verse in my card, very heartfelt, I am pleased that I opened it yesterday, I cried all the way home. I am trying not to cry today, Dad wouldnt have wanted that. I have got some lovely cards. I got money from my brother and his family, I think that I will put that towards a new camera. My Mum got me some clothes, Darren and the boys got me a fab pink DAB radio for my shed, I have had the clothes and radio for some time now so nothing to open. Oh well, thats how birthdays are when you get older arent they? Thanks to Samm, Julie and my MIL Ginny for their lovely handmade cards. Oh and how can I forget the stamped image that Harvey did for me yesterday.

Ming Ming that rabbit has taken the vets advise for exercise too literally, yesterday we had to patch up a hole in the hutch! and then cover the 12" deep hole she dug under the patio in the run!

Chat later!

Pimp my palace!

I have had a little fun over the last two days nipping into my Palace every now and then with pieces of paper in hand... cuttlebug flowers, cricut flowers, primas, buttons, zooms and cut out Magnolias and here is what I have done... I coloured all the images with my beautiful Stampin' Up! watercolour crayons.

This is over the top of the door and had brightened up a boring panel.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We went out for a meal earlier, Mum treated us and my brother and his family. It was YUM!

Penny Black fun!

White leaves are Stampendous and stamped with White Staz On, the animals are all Penny Black and coloured with pencils. The vine up the top is from the same Changito set.

Zoofari for the decorated letters and a plain Penny Black font for alternative letters. Cuttlebug folder (devine swirls)

As above, zoofari and plain letters

Penny Black images, paperclip from Partners stationers. All rest from The Glitter Pot.

You all must know Penny Black are my favourite stamps so it was fun to have two classes using their designs. Had a great bunch of ladies there, most of which have been to my classes before, we had a good laugh and craft!

I got this fantastic table top bin for my craft room. I saw these being used by some other ladies on a class at Crafts U Love and I had to have one! So I found out where they were from and ordered one...

The CRAFTY BIN is £7.99 with £2 P&P or local (Crawley area) They sit on the edge of your desk, the weight of the top part keeps it in place and the banded area keeps the pocket open and always ready for the scraps of paper, sticky fixer line, double sided tape liner and the odd chocolate wrapper!! LOL The designs will vary, but they seem to use bright and fun designs.

Harvey spent ages yesterday picking up little scraps off my floor, he loves new things like I do LOL

Contact details 07793 350605 or email craftybin@googlemail.com and tell them caz sent ya!

Bliss

Warm sunny day... Caiden asleep and 2 hours of play in my shed! Some I cant show you as its for my classes tomorrow at The Glitter Pot. One that I just made was made using one of my new Magnolias, a clear stamp from Autumn Leaves, a button, some paper and a few ink pads from Stampin' Up! I love to colour with their inkpads and waterbrush. The colours are bright but watercolour beautifully for soft OR bright shades. If you want further info on colours I used let me know.

Here she is... simple but lovely if I dont say so myself!

Going to get Harvey in a mo, Caiden has woken up... maybe I will get another moment of "bliss" again soon.

A fantastic competition!

I have taken this text off of Tracy's blog www.cuteycrafts.blogspot.com

To celebrate the fact that Diestodiefor and First Class Crafts are merging I decided to run a competition. Although I have not finished putting everything onto the DTDF website I am going ahead with the competition anyway. This is a one time only competition. Up for grabs is a 'on-the-go-tote' by AMM. This holds so much, it's just fab.Now as things are changing and I am getting lots of goodies in I thought it would be nice to give you an idea of what I am selling. So, also included in the prize are some examples of what you will find on the website.

This includes:

20 sheets of 12x12 papers including Bazzill and Doodlebug
2 packs Craftime dress It Up
1 Creative Card Kit
1 pack sticky ribbons
1 pack fibres
1 pack of pale pink feathers
1 pack baby magic motifs
1 pack double sided tape
1 glue stick1 glue pen
100 eyelets
1 pack flat backed bubbles
1 pack little sizzles - textures (leather)
2 packs rub ons
5 packs of stickers
2 packs panels
2 packs of blooms
a selection of die cuts
a pack of 5 cards and envelopes
a High Hopes rubber stamp (Bride and Groom)
5 metres of ribbona pack of tags
a pack of Craftime Alphanumerals

Wow, do you think that's enough?

Now all you have to do is make a card (so easy). Now with fathers day coming up I thought you could all make a male themed card. It doesn't have to be for Fathers day, just a male card from age 0-101, as long as it is made using anything listed in the prize. So for example, stickers, ribbon, papers. How easy is that. It doesn't have to have been brought from me at all. Have fun...

Rules:Please leave a comment to tell me where I can view your card. If you do not have a blog then you can email or even post your entry (if posting please enclose an SAE if you would like it back)If you have a blog then please link to here (the more the merrier)If when you are leaving a comment you leave a suggestion of what you would like to see for sale on the website, your name will be entered twice.I'm so sorry but I cannot post overseas as it would just cost too much (it's so heavy). You are still welcome to join in the fun though. This will stay open until 31st May and hopefully everything will then be on the website (yeah)

Happy crafting & GOOD LUCK!!

Flash the stash

Here is the stash I got in the post yesterday.... yummy stamps from Stampendous

Had a great party last night. Lots of laughing and not too much heckling! OK maybe from Zoe (LOL) but then she did promise to help me with a rendition of "Roll out the barrell" on the old Joanna! LOL if I got stuck... yes it was one of THOSE get togethers. 99% of the people last night are considered friends and people I have meet through stamping so it was fairly relaxed and fun.

Wednesday, May 7

Do you like primative arts?

Wooden hearts, angels ect?? If like me the answer is YES you need to check out my friends website. http://www.pussywillowscountrycrafts.co.uk Tamsin makes lovely stuff.. its all made in her home, when I went round there the other week it was like a mini industry with fabrics, paints and wooden items everywhere.

Fun with images

I used to not "get" images. I am the sort that wants the stamp, wants to stamp it out and colour but with the ever growing list of stamps I love, the ever growing bills to pay and the ever shrinking list of other stuff to do and lack of time I have enjoyed a few people sending me images. So here is a card I made that a friend Tracy sent me of the spring pack magnolias and also another card I made with my Shabby Chic stamps.

I coloured both of them in with Stampin' Up! watercolour wonder crayons, I do love to use these. These cards are a bit plain, I do try and jazz them up like all the stunning cards I see but it just doesnt look right when I do it.

Beautiful sunny weekend and a lovely day today. Took Mum to garden centre yesterday and she brought me a rose called "my Dad". I have planted it and at the moment it is just a bare stem so I have decorated the top with stones, of course in palace colours. Here is a picture of "my Dad" with stones... I have since of course spent much time rearranging the stones as Caiden enjoys fiddling!! LOL The rose when out will be a very large red rose so that sounds nice.

I just found a picture of how the rose will look...

Blog candy giveaway - not mine

I havent managed to sort any out for this one yet but I wanted to tell you about http://trinastreasures.blogspot.com/ and http://artfullyila.blogspot.com/ who are both giving away blog candy! Check it out - their blogs are stunning as well as lovely candy.

OH and the Mums birthday is in May, all the best people are May you know!

SU party but I forgot the stamps!

A full Stampin' Up! party, everyone buzzing with excitement and then I realise I forgot the stamps! OMG I forgot the punches, the samples and catalogues too.. I guess I took an empty trolly with me. THANK GOODNESS it was only a dream I had last night. I must say it woke me up and I ended up getting up before 6am this morning as I was all flustered by it.

I have a party this Wednesday in Horley, its looking to be a good one. Lots of stampers coming along so a captive (is that the right word?) audience. I hope I dont forget the stamps!!

Like a bus!

No not my behind! LOL But the fact there is nothing for ages and then three come along at once.... so here are the final 2 cards from my demo.

Vroom Vroom!

I got this lovely Bella from First Class Crafts and I couldnt wait to show it off. I made this quick card earlier today whilst it seems our garden has turned into the neighbourhood creche! with all the flippin kids coming here... the words creche or MUG springs to mind...

They are not allowed to sell the Bellas online but give them a email to find out which ones they have!

More Lily and Milo cards

Here are more from my demo yesterday at The Glitter Pot... too cute!

Here are the rest of them ;0)

Meet Lily and Milo

I was at the Glitter Pot today and playing with the new Lily and Milo stamps. These are clear stamps made by Stampavie and drawn by Rachelle Ann Miller.

All simple cards, coloured with H20's and various paper and embossing.

So here are a few of the cards I made today... More to come tomorrow.

All supplies are from The Glitter Pot.

Thursday, May 1

Tip toe through the tulips

How cute is she?? This is one of the new Shabby Chic stamps I got the other day. I have teamed her up with the cute flower stamp and I coloured her in with my Stampin' Up! ink pads and aqua painter. I mounted her onto a piece of stamped acetate which I had decorated with White Staz on and a Penny Black stamp. To finish I added two of my beautiful stash of Primas and added a jewel brad from SU. Lashings of glitter glue and voila! you have this.... It was really hard to photograph, I have had to adjust it a bit in Irfanview to get it to look closer to real life.
So today I was sitting there adding copics to a cart, choosing colours ect... now I have talked myself out of it again! LOL I really like the effect BUT I currently have
Decorator chalks
Pebbles Chalks
Complete set of Distress inks
Almost complete set of SU Inks
300+ watercolour pencils
SU Pastels
SU watercolour Crayons
Lyra Watercolour Crayons
almost the whole set of H20's
I dont need more... I cant demo them, I cant use them in magazines and I could get a LOT of stamps with the money, especially if they are unmounted stamps...
Do you do that? talk yourself out of things? This isnt the first time that I have almost ordered to then pull out.. tee hee I think I need to see and try the copics in real life, for now I have enough colouring stuff dont ya think?
